I grabbed a replacement EliteDesk 800 G4 Mini motherboard a while back but never had the time to try installing it. In this video we show how to remove and replace the motherboard with a "newer" one. Unfortunately the cheap one I found is no longer listed but if anyone finds an inexpensive listing let me know and we can add it here.

My main computer, an EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini, was getting a bit slow with disk reads so I decided to clone the drive to a faster M.2 NVME drive. Several viewers have expressed concern about purchasing older units that do not meet Microsoft's WIndows 11 minimum requirements. Either the EliteDesk/ProDesk does not have TPM 2.0 or is using a 7th gen and below proceessor.
