Hi Mel! I’m trying to get my hands on Amore Caffee. It sounds so delicious! Burberry Goddess is one I have been wearing a lot lately.
Hi Julie! I think you will like Amore Caffe because it’s not too much in any way. Sweet and warming, with some interesting notes 🥰
Hiya, Mel. For some reason I haven't been able to find your content over the past few months. I would even go to my subscriptions, pull up your channel and it wouldn't show any new content. I thought maybe you decided to take a break. Glad you are still around. I'm not a J'adore fan. That melon note is off putting and I can't get past it. Maybe the one you mention would be more appealing. I go back and forth with Si and Passione. Sometimes I like Si more, other times I like Passione more. And then I found an "inspiration" house called Le Glorie. Their inspiration of Si is WONDERFUL. It's got a slightly sweet spiciness to it that rounds out the designer fragrance, giving it a bit more body. It doesn't last as long but I layer it with both and it's pretty spectacular. My easy reaches are Coco, Coco Mademoiselle from Chanel, Ébène Fume from TF, Lataffa Mohra Silky Rose, and Aromatic Rouge by Maison Alhambra. Enjoy the weather! It's been quite cool here in middle America. From about 10C to -7C mostly. No snow yet but it's coming!
Hi Alisa! J’adore Parfum d’eau completely surprised me with how much I like it. It’s lovely 🥰 I find myself going back to the Si line more and more I hope you are enjoying the cold cozy days 😊
Mel, i just have about 40% of the ME perfumes I bought.... I did many blind buys, gifted and sold the ones it didn't work. They are getting way more expensive and I hesitate more to but them What it is left: Narissa Rose Musc, lattafa Angham, Thoug, lattafa Liam, Orientica Melodie, junnon noir I had Bright Peach and sold it. One reviewer once described its peach note as "dirty", a dirty peach and I agree....
Hi! Agreed! I am buying fewer middle eastern fragrances for the same reasons. I recently added Junoon Noir and really like it. Thank you so much for watching and commenting 🥰
I only have Montale Intense cafe and am still learning how to wear this perfume. I layered it with lattafa Thoug for a Delina vibe and went out for grocery shopping and while paying, the cashier said: so this is you who is smelling so good. Customers in the line came and asked where this scent was coming from. It was sort of embarrassing lol, I almost apologized. So Imnext time I will wear it only if I go outdoors in a very cold day.... it is that strong 😂 Intense cafe is quite synthetic so I tend to layer it with fragrances with less longevity. I want the longevity but I FEAR the projection of the Montales.😂 If you find one that projects less but it is long lasting, let me know. 🌸🌸🌸 From your Easy reach fragrance video: I guess Mancera Aoud Orchid would be more of what I look for in these perfumes
I agree with you that it is a dilemma 😊 Aoud Orchid has moderate longevity on me. There is more variation in the Manceras I think in terms of projection (and longevity). Overall they are more versatile and easy to wear compared to the Montales. I am getting old and bold perhaps, and don’t mind shocking those around me sometimes… that’s when I’ll reach for a Montale Thanks so much for your lovely comment 🥰
My easy reaches are: Burberry Goddess Burberry Her Ariana Grande MOD Ariana Grande Cloude (just finished my large bottle) Can you tell i love Vanilla/sweet scent 😅..
Hi Sandra! Your choices are all such happy mood boosters too 🥰
I love your picks, Mel.🙂we probably share similar taste for perfume. I got Amore Cafe this year as well, I think my search for a cafe fragrance for me is over, coffee is not prominent and I think this is why it is so good. I smell an amoretto note and it is delicious,it is so easy to reach for me. Others easy to reach: clinique happy heart, narissa musc rose, drop d'issey, kk pure honey is a love, jennifer lopez still, lush alina.... I particularly prefer you come back to the same fragrances as it indicates you really enjoy each and every one of them
I agree! Amore Caffe is kinda perfect Great choices for other easy reaches Thanks for encouraging and thoughtful comments 🥰
My easy reaches were D&G Light Blue Intense and YSL Libre. So easy to spray some on and feel put together for hours.
Hi Rina! They’re both perfect. I’ve started liking the Libre line a lot more recently. In fact I think those classic designer scents (like Si too) are often getting a bit overlooked these days, and are often the best for everyday… Thanks so much for watching 🥰
Really good list and I am intrigued by the Rose Jimmy Choo one. My most worn perfume of 2024 is Billie Eilish #1.
Eilish is a good one too. 🥰
Hi Mel! Winter is kicking in here as your summer must be blooming! 🥶 Unfortunately, I don’t own any Montale but I do have Zara’s dupe for Mancera’s Roses Vanille which I love love love! I had Holidays at one point but it was too much for me. I think these two sister companies both make powerhouse fragrances which is less my thing now… 🙃
Hello Julie! I understand for sure. They are definitely loud 😊 The summer is off to a wetter than average start here. I hope you are enjoying the cold and cozy days there. Thank you so much for watching the video, especially as these aren’t your favorites 🥰
I love it!
Love Jimmy Choo Fever too ❤
I'm a real fan of Lush fragrances. Haven't tried 'Dirty' though. I am excited to get my nose on the new range that is coming out here at end of November. One in particular I want to smell is Chelsea Morning which is a lemon gourmand type fragrance from what I am hearing. Hope the heat doesn't get too much for you. Windy here in Melbourne.
Hi Anne! I am really getting into the Lush fragrances now and can see myself getting more. I think they work well here in our climate, and the more “out doorsy” lifestyle… I didn’t know there was a new range coming out soon. Thank you for the heads up. I will be sure to check it out 🥰
@@melraefinds9748 🐱🤩☺
It’s funny, for me I’d chose Elixir over Sweet Diamond Peppers! 😂 But I love both! DG Shine I decluttered. It was too synthetic for me…
I totally get the appeal of Elixir. Just goes a bit weird and dated on me. Thanks for mentioning DG Shine, I can’t do it anymore either, for the same reason…
Hi Mel! How would you compare Eternal Musk to Royal Musc? I believe you also own this one, right? Kayali Musc was one I didn’t enjoy but I’m looking for new musc perfumes to add to my collection and Royal Musc was just ok for me unfortunately… Thanks! 😊
Hi Julie! Eternal Musk is more floral, slightly powdery, and feminine than Royal Musk. It also does not project as much. It has good longevity but a smaller scent bubble. Eternal is a touch woodier than the Kayali. I have actually been wearing Eternal more than Royal lately for sure. I think because it is soft and feminine. I’ll keep in mind you’re looking for a musk and see if anything else comes to mind 🥰
@@melraefinds9748 thanks for your quick feedback back! 😉
Wow, so many bottles empty❤ it is hard for me to finish anything😢 this video js tryly motivational 😊
Hi! I think it’s just fine not to empty your bottles as well. I spray a lot and live in a warm climate where it’s easy to go through fragrances. Thank you for watching and commenting 🥰
I’m intentional with emptying mine. I do like you when it’s almost empty i make it a point to use them
Yuor empties are so inspiring!
Hi Rina! Thanks so much for watching 🥰
Love your pics! I’m from Texas.. it’s hot here 😂
Opulent Red is very confusing and complex at first… but surprisingly when I let it dry down I get a ton of compliments. I think it grows on you as it drys down. Thought I regretted my purchase, but the scent is justified over time! Love the way you described it. Very spot on!
For sure! I love it more as time goes on as well 😊
Mystique bouquet by afnan is my Favorite that I’ve blind bought.
I’m glad it worked out for you 🥰
My all-time favourite fragrance, Amouage's Jubilation XXV, was a blind-buy. But blind-buying is not a recommended practice.
I just found your channel! I went ahead and subscribed. I find that the Nebras is just strange...idk it's just hard to understand for me😊but I'm looking forward to getting the Mocha Wood!!
Hi! I can understand that. I find Mocha Wood a good easy reach that is never too much.
Mussamam white intense baby Lattafa is amazing. Try it. Thanks for the heads up on these
@@jofantioch Thank you for recommending that one. I do find Lattafa and maybe Al Haramain the best for me generally speaking.
Your description of Satoor sounds amazing. But then I went to Fragrantica and saw that it’s compared to Bright Peach. Bright Peach is not my favorite kind of peach. Have you smelled it? Wondering how similar they are. Your description makes me think they aren’t that similar. Just wondering if you have thoughts on this. Thanks. 😊
Thanks for this. You have me curious now too. I’ve not smelled Bright Peach. They DO seem like a similar idea from the note break down (I just looked 😊) … I can’t imagine Bright Peach would have such an old school ambery vibe. If I get to smell it I will come back and let you know 🥰
@@melraefinds9748 Thanks! Old school peach is usually done differently than what I smell in bright peach. I’m pretty convinced I’d like Satoor. My favorite peach is Burberry woman!
I LOVE Intense Tiare. Need to buy Essence of Casablanca ❤
Was wondering about M Bouquet but Oh stale breath 😅 just no!
She is 100% correct. I have no idea why people hyped-up this perfume. There is something very off about the dry down. It just leaves you smelling like chemicals .
Hi Ann! It is so unfortunate! 😆
@@Sammiein Thank you so much for saying that! 😊🙏 I was disappointed. I hadn’t heard anything negative about it.
Hi Mel! Happy to see you like Pure Honey and Amore Caffé because these are two I’m pretty confident I can blind buy. They are up there on my list! 🙂
Hi Julie! Oh yes! They are both really good 🥰
I really enjoyed your descriptions. I have Nebras and I adore it. I layer it with Fire Cracker Pop a cherry scent from Bath & Body Works or Sweet Cherry. I literally have multiple people follow me around if I wear it out and compliment me. It’s divine!😊
Thank you! That combo sounds amazing 🥰 I will keep my eye out for Fire Cracker Pop here.
As for the packaging, I totally understand it’s frustrating to find the lid off, etc. but they are DIRT-CHEAP & the packaging sometimes floors me in the way I can’t fathom how I’m getting both an incredible juice AND a sturdy glass bottle (or what have you) for like $30-$40! 😅So I can’t imagine not putting something on my list due to packaging. I just completely overlook it & honestly feel fortunate when the bottles aren’t HIDEOUS😂as so many are just awful to look at.
Try the Mohra Silky Rose, delicate and elegant rose.
Thank you, yes I want to get this one 😊
❤ Hi Mel, Amethyst and Opulent-Red are my 2 signature scents, I adore these. Warmest regards from Tasmania, Tia 😊
Ha! We are most definitely kindred (fragrance) spirits 🥰
Hi Mel , I bought Rare Passion from an Aussie online retailer and it arrived in perfect condition and was love from first sniff and just keeps getting better ( 15 months or so) . I am sorry your bottle was damaged. I also buy from Fragrance Net, loads of perfumes, only one bottle leaked and I got a total refund. Kind regards 😊
I’m so pleased you had a better experience with Rare Passion. I will have to give Fragrance Net a try. It wasn’t them I had an issue with. Good to know you have found them good to deal with. Thanks 😊
Hi Mel, I am in Tasmania, fell in love with Middle Eastern perfumes May last year after getting Long Covid and feeling my body chemistry or my love for some perfumes altered and I was also frustrated at becoming nose blind to a lot of my perfumes. By chance I fell in love with a perfume oil and that began my journey of discovery of these perfumes. I have 2 large perfume cupboards, in a stable cool area of our house and own too many 😅, too afraid to count them, but have run out of space. I have always loved and collected perfumes. I am attracted to the more intense perfume and also like mysterious or noir scents, but also adore fruity florals with vanilla and spices. I love so many and love how I can smell these on myself after hours. I have had to blind buy them all, by reading about the notes , watching my 5 or so favourite reviewers and careful consideration but 4 or so were total fails. Opulent Red was one of my first haul of 6 perfumes and is one of my signature scents, a lady ran after me wanting to know what I was wearing 😂. I am on my second bottle and have 3 back up bottles. I own 3 other perfumes of the perfumes you mention. Nebras is lovely. Thanks for this video.❤😊
Hi Tia! Another Opulent Red devotee! 🥰 I am so pleased. I can’t get enough of that one. I absolutely can relate to what you’re saying about enjoying the stronger nature of the Middle Eastern fragrances. I think I have been collecting these type of fragrances for about the same amount of time as you. I’m in Regional Queensland, up in the mountains west of Brisbane in Toowoomba. Cooler temps and less humid than Brissie. So lovely to meet you. Thank you for sharing this 😊
@@melraefinds9748 Same here, it is soooooo wonderful and affordable. I read so many negative reviews but felt it was my type of perfume and it was love at first sniff. I am addicted to that one for sure. It always makes me feel wonderful and you can always smell the perfume even the next day. So glad to find you 🥰😍 A lot of the perfume reviewers do not like Opulent Red. I have read some hilarious reviews about this. I know we all smell things differently and have different preferences which is great. And our body chemistry is different, but my best friend in Germany also bought 4 of my most loved Middle Eastern perfumes and she loves all of these and some days when we write to each other we find out we are wearing the same ones on that day despite the different seasons and weather. Opulent Red, Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst, Maison Alhambra's Berlinetta , all these 3 are polarising scents that last and last and the perfume oil Rasha by Al Rehab which is also so beautiful ( again a beast scent and polarising). I wish you a lovely day, from sunny Tasmania, Tia
I love rose fragrance. I haven’t come across a rose fragrance I didn’t like. It would be a safe blind for me. Thanks for your video.
@@VanNguyen-lj6jn You’re welcome. Thanks for watching 😊
Hi. I appreciate your video because there’s not many videos talking about green fragrances. I enjoy them. I have Aura edt and edp. And several unisex fragrances from Banana Republic. Matcha from Republica is on my list.
Hiya, Mel. Just found your channel and subbed. I'm in the US but my fragrance choices match your seasons better, I think. Your winter, my summer, I'm ready for Khamrah and Mohra. It's fall here and I'm craving chypres. Go figure. I'm seeing quite a few differences between what ME fragrances you're able to get when compared to here. Is that a thing? Looking forward to watching more content from you. All the best to you.❤
Hi Alisa! I would say, regarding affordable ME fragrances, that in the last 6-12 months absolutely everything is also coming out here, with similar release dates to US (which can be ahead of UK and Europe, not sure why). There are fewer distributors here and in Australia we can’t get fragrances on Amazon (postal regulations, not sure). I’m definitely getting choosier, and climate dictates that if I stack my shelves with the heavier scents, they will sit there neglected for much of the year. The “affordable” ME fragrances aren’t as cheap here, relative to the prices of the fragrances they are duping when those fragrances are on sale. Again I think this is because there are fewer distributors currently. So, again this makes me choosier. It can make more sense to get the original here … sometimes. Regarding availability it can actually be harder to find good oldies. I have finally tracked down a bottle of Junoon Noir for instance. Thank you for your thoughtful comment. And welcome to the channel 🥰
For me it’s 3 only: Nebras, junoon noir, and khair pistachio
That’s an outstanding 3! Junoon Noir is on the very top of my wishlist 🥰
I actually really love Avon far and away. I still have a bottle, and wear it often!
Hi Mel, I'm a new subscriber! I bought a cheapie called Mousuf by Ard Al Zaafaran recently and Solace by Ajmal, both kind of freshies I've liked. Also a romantic perfume called Romancea by Ard Al Zaafaran, which i enjoyed for the most part but it got a little sickly toward the end of the bottle.
Hi Erika! Welcome 🥰 And thanks for the recommendations. Living in a warm climate, I’m always on the lookout for fresher scents!
At (10:28) I think your talking about the Avon Fragrance from 1985 called "Imari".....in the dark maroon burgundy bottle & cap...an Aldehyde, Floral & Amber classic !
Wow, Thank you! That is it, Imari. 😊 This fragrance Sutoor brought it straight back to my mind.
@@melraefinds9748 My mother used to sell Avon back in the day and I used to smell the whole Imari line and Skin So Soft scents in the house all the time !
Hi Mel! I sold my bottle of Royal Musk. It smelled amazing in the bottle but the musk turned cheap on my skin unfortunately… Nebras and Honor and Glory also have left my collection. I bought many Arabian perfumes but a few have stayed in my collection to be honest. They just don’t agree with me. Amber Oud Rouge, Sublime and La Fleur Bouquet are three I really enjoy wearing.
Hi Julie! Thanks for sharing these (successes and the ones that have left) I really think I need to get Sublime. I love Eden Juicy Apple. Interesting you love the Amber Oud Rouge, I think that whole range is too heavy for me. Recent disappointment for me is Mystique Bouquet by Afnan. Nice scent but SO weak. I’ll give it some time.
@@melraefinds9748 I got Sublime last August or so. I do love wearing this but it is not a perfume I reach for all the time. I have not worn it during the cold months and for me I have to be in the mood for this but to me it has a sort of mystery to it, it starts of so tropical on my skin and I love plum notes so much but then it somehow gets a touch earthier or a slight twist because of the moss note. I may actually put this on, after I do the house work and have a shower, now I am writing about it 😀. Some reviewers mention that it has a slight hint of Baccarat Rouge 540 but I do not really feel so.
Poison Girl EDP is my #1 fragrance of all time. It's a masterpiece, I'm young and I don't find it dated at all. Sweet Diamond is also so pretty!
Hi! Thanks for saying so. I agree PG EDP really is something very special 😊
beautiful picks but my favourite rose will always be Serge Lutens’ La Fille de Berlin. beautifully rich and well worth attention!!
@@jaydancurrie5467 Hi! I am so interested and curious about Serge Lutens fragrances. They would be a blind buy for me, so it is very much appreciated hearing your recommendation. 😊
beautiful picks but my favourite rose will always be Serge Lutens’ La Fille de Berlin. beautifully rich and well worth attention
Bit scared of the rose note in fragrances. I find I get an instant headache. It depends on the other notes and how prominent the rose is. I do love La Petite Robe Noire Guerlain and some others that seem ok, but I am wary otherwise. Have to try first and can't blind buy.
Hi Anne! I do agree and find something similar. Rose can go seriously wrong for me too. It’s the dry dusty, 1980s little bowls of pot pourri smell, I sometimes detect and simply can’t abide! 😊
@@melraefinds9748 Oh yes that's the worst. lol
I love rose 🌹 I so agree with you with sweet diamond pink pepper. I am waiting for slightly cooler weather so I can wear it again. Love it.
Hello! Yes. It is gorgeous. I love it too 🥰
I have moved away from rose perfumes but Sweet Diamond Pepper is one I still enjoy very much ad for Rose Gourmand by Zara, Rose Dior and Dom Rosa by Les liquides imaginaires…
Hi Julie I have been curious about Dom Rosa. The bottle looks so beautiful too Thanks for watching and suggestions 🥰
Hi Mel. What state are you in? NSW here.
Hi Monica 😊 I’m in regional Queensland.
Hi Mel! I’m still mad at myself for not picking up Cheirosa 39! 😫 I love the smell of Nebras but I sold my bottle. I was getting cheap candles scent on my skin unfortunately… 🤷🏻♀️
Hi Julie! I can well understand that what I currently perceive as a bit of a plastic smell could also come across as wax candle. For sure.
Yes! A dupe of BR540 with Eden Juicy Apple is a combo I often do in the fall! Love it! 🍎
I love Cheirosa 71 it smells like a nutty buttery white choclate vanilla heaven.. very gourmand!! 🥰🤤
Thank you 🥰 That definitely sounds heavenly to me 😊
