Not really because the shapeshifter(changeling) is going to be their base form and isn’t going to have all of their abilities, extra bonuses from the skill tree and also items.

I know i'm 3 months late, but thanks a lot for this. I don't really do guides, but I was stuck and couldn't get a campaign going. I used your video to see how others think outside the box and get it done. I'm doing much better with you're tips, for instance I almost never recruited extra generals. That alone is doing me wonders. I completely botched myself and was waaaay worse off then your guide by turn 12. but atleast i was surviving and getting things done. I appreciate your hard work.
