I am currently struggling against armies that have a lot of missile units like the wood elves or some high elves. How do you deal with them by using chosen, ogres, trolls and demons?
@@cedrics1220 Rot Knights actually. Having a fast cavalry (fast for a Nurgle army) with regen really is a great addition. Or if you don't have that just let Tamurkhan take all the damage from missiles, the moment you encounter/direct conflict with an elven army anyways is when Tamurkhan already a decent one man army with regen and tons of ward save and resistances then just charge in with ogres. Ogres are kinda fast and are great anti infantry.
@@cedrics1220 Oh that one is hard lol. Just siege them out and wait for them to attack you. Believe me it's more advantageous (and easier) to be outnumbered in a plain battle than outnumbering the enemy in a siege battle. If you really want to siege though, just go straight to gate as fast as you can and destroy it then rush those fools. Or just auto battle it if you can win with auto
The most optimal way to play this is having a plague ridden to cast fleshy abundance and 3 exalted heroes to des good damage, give none stop +24 melee defence and having 12 fecundity heal. By turn 100-120 you have more toad dragon then needed by a long shot if you build up your infection building properly (should be at around 500-700 each turn allowing to rush the cycle more then once per turn
Couple of exalted heroes of Nurgle would defiantly be a good compliment to this army the extra melee defence is gonna be really handy, you could also get the -10 armour for enemies in local region skill point as well(since you can already cast fleshy abundance overcasted to heal all of them as long as they are in a blob), to debuff the enemies as well. They could also be Solely focused on killing lords and heroes.
@@pzatotalwar it’s a doomstack that you want to build in a death ball with all your unit bunch up. Having 12 locus of fecundity and being able to heal everything up to 85 % (from 75 with the +10 tech) is what makes it good. Each toad dragon can damage 12 unit each attack so having them bunch up shreds. It gets better. The faction leader gets pestilence decay (16-32 damage aoe efffect and for your other armies you go with a demain prince which can also bring it and bring a damage locus (+24 melee attack aoe). Having the lord deal constant damage of aoe in that death ball is huge
Its not quite the strongest. Firstly the Warband ones are glitched and dont get Tamurkhans buffs like Ward Save and missle res. Secondly they do take a lot of damage so I found that by having two great unclean ones, instead of the warband toads, to both help heal, and damage units with spells, made the doom stack preform better. I was able to back to back fight 8 armies of Slayer Ultimate crisis armies with a bunch of flame thrower units, in one turn, because of the healing. This was on VH battle difficulty, enemie stats modified max, and Ultimate Crisis cranked up to max. I did lose two of the Dragon toads in this engagement but that's because my micro is terrible. I will say that they are probably the strongest Nurgle unit to date.
I have noticed that about the war and units, hopefully it’s gonna get fixed in the hot fix(maybe they have already fixed it in yesterdays hot fix, haven’t checked it out yet). 100% agree with you, doomstacks are almost never the most convenient army to have, but in this case I actually prefer them to any other unit. Overcasting fleshy abundance is gonna heal every single one of them as I have showcased in the video. They need a little bit of micro to do well. As long you stop the missile unit from shooting and debuff the lord and heroes, the toad dragons could clear out any army type(except thunder barge doomstack.
That is a pretty awesome unit, but they don't look... Nurgley enough... Like not even close. Except for the mouth, they look like they could be Lizardmen units.
Its a cousin of shoot of the dread saurian apparently thats been influenced by nurgle chaos shit in the wastelands. So they are not demons of nurgle they are simply chaos influenced animals. Like the norsca animals thats why they dont look super nurgle ish
Is Toad Dragon the strongest Doomstack for Nurgle?
I still think Rot Knight doomstack is better but that's just me with my cavalry obsession.
So here's the thing about Tamurkhan and the new units, it feels like a Khorne army but with beefier and slower units.
Lol, also they have healing to back them up which makes them even greater

@@the0sanitydokutah967 thanks! And what about sieges? Missiles destroy my blobs in sieges

Toad dragons are my new favourite toys, praise Nurgle
Definitely one of my favourite new units we have gotten in TOD as well, praise grandfather!
Now that Tzeentch and Nurgle got fleshed out it's only a question of time when Khorne and Slaanesh will get an awesome makeover.
That would be great, all the demonic races getting fleshed out and close to complete
This looks amazing! Congratulations!
Grandfather is proud

Oh boy I’m hyped to make this doomstack, it seems it takes a long time to get them though.
It takes quite a while indeed but they are definitely worth it

How did you get there armor up? I don’t see anything for that.
Defeat traits of Balthasar Gelt and Zhao Ming both give extra armour for the whole army
