Then the magic again . Everyone wants to get Renato and send him to prison. But the king doesn't allow it And before his death Renato seeks his pardon knowing that he was going to be sent away and renouncing the king to Amelia. Then something thrilling. All the cast say goodbye to the king who has called them his children. They make an angelical chorus that would surprise anyone of great beauty.

There is one thing I don't find here that is essential JURISMICH.The last revenge of the king. When he says to the assistants not to take Renato away the king listens to his pardon. But in a really wicked way he tells him.I m obliged to pardon you,not as a friend but as a we could say courtisan. That is pure evil and reveals what we had thought from almost the beginning.Renato was only an instrument for the king, never a friend, never his equal. There is Verdi again who always distrusted power.I don't know if it's a problem of having a European version and an American one.But it's basic to understand the final. Thank you JURISMICH and for the plus of Pavarotti.

There were a current of stage directors who because of the scandal that death meant decided to situated overseas with a foreign Governor and not a king in Europe. In any case Zanasi s version Tokio1967 is a version with king. The fact that he does seated allows him to look Renato in the eye when he says those words. He dies seated and the effect of disrespect for him is incredibly painful for Renato.I m not making it up my friend.I love this opera too much to do so...

First of all the preparations for revenge. One of the three gentlemen had to be elected to kill the king. All of them have motives to do it.They ask Amelia to take out one of the papers with the name of whos will do the job. Finally Renato comes out.At this same time more or less Oscar comes in with the invitation yo the Mask Ball. They tell him her that the subject of their costume will be death,MORTE. How modern was Verdi to select a woman to do the task of Oscar, his secretary.Fadcinating.

Amelia must tell the king what is going to happen to him.He also needs to tell her that they will both be sent to England because he won't be unfaithful to his loyal Renato.Amelia tells him to escape because Renato wants to kill him.And the king says he doesn't care for his life thus he won't have her. Then comes the beautiful part of their goodbye.Encora una Volta addio,l ultima Volta addio... Beautiful ❤️ Heartbreaking. Then Renato appears and stand him to death.

(2/3) "My favourite choice would be Mario Zanasi.Tokio1967. His actuation is astonishing. At the end he shivers like an actor from Kabuki Theatre and needs plenty of time to recover. Then he receives a standing ovation. This aria is very important because for me it's clear that Giuseppe Verdi enters in Renato. He becomes him. That s why the baritone needs to be very sensitive towards the whole audition.Verdi was a widower of a very young girl and was always in love with her although being with important women such as Streponi. On the other hand,he most have felt betrayed on several occasions in his long and productive life. That s why this aria allows him to throw away his demons and to make a great masterpiece,so personal and delicate,at the same time."

(1/3) "Dear JURISMICH.Thank you very much for the beautiful aria.I seem to like your baritone. At least he knows where to emphasize and where to stop and almost cry.I also like the fact that VEDOVO COR is correctly translated in French.Sometimes it appears like EMPTY HEART instead of WIDOW HEART,which,as you know,is the correct meaning.Nevertheless,as we talked other times, everyone has their baritone,tenor,soprano... for a certain aria."

Renato wants to leave but they are all curious about the identity of the lady. When things get a little bit rough, she unveils herself. And there she is Amelia,Renato s wife. All the gentlemen start singing and laughing which makes an even more tragic effect on poor Renato. The conductor knows that and he wants the notes and laughs to be well placed because it's essential. Renato knows he s been fooled and will take his revenge. At the end he s alone with Amelia After this beauty will come the most adorable aria ever written by Giuseppe Verdi.Once they re at home he sings ERI TÚ,a truly masterpiece.Thank you JURISMICH.You made my day.

The stories they made up.The magnificent music.Bellini had to write Norma in three months due to agenda problems. And Donizetti wrote L elisir d.amore in TWO WEEKS hand with hand together with the writer of the lyrics.
