You are two years too late. Siepi was born in 1921. I know this from a banker in Macerata where he had to show his passport sending the money for the performances of Don Carlo into his bank. I know how much it was and the country of the bank also. By the way: I was in three performances of Jerusalem in Parma and taped it private with my "wondermachine" UHER CR 240, unique in the world, made by the engineers of Uher for me.
@@JURISMICH There is no error in a passport. A lot of artists who were slowed down by the war made themselves younger. This banker in Macerata was very reliable. He said this to me without I did ask him. He gave me his original tapes of his inhouse-tapes, because I had problems with the wind there. My professional microphones from AKG are very sensitive also with wind protection. In Ancona I found soft tennis balls which I used for the other performances. But it doesn`t matter if it is 1923 or 1921.
@@achmedmohamed4708 During the war, happyly passports were falsifiable! By the way, Siepi is not younger but older if born in 1921; the only reliable is birthday act for jurist (not even marriage act where are sometimes mistakes). Yes, it doesn't matter because Siepi is immortal.🙂
@@JURISMICH Indeed. For me he is the greatest of all singers since I heared him in his first DECCA-Recital which I bought 65 years ago from my little pcket money as a pupil. By the way, I have the same volume and range from C to g1. I studied with Prof. Martienssen-Lohmann, Francesco Carrino, the teacher of Carlo Bergonzi in Trieste and Gottlob Frick. But I never could sing when 4.000 eyes look at me, too much stage fright I have and too much adrenaline.

Mais, le timbre unique de la voix de Siepi et son naturel est inaccessible et intransmissible. Dans cet aria où il est fort âgé, il a gardé ce don divin. Ramey, qui l'admirait, lui a téléphoné un jour (surpris qu'il le connaisse) et, à présent vieilli, possède un grave ample et posé mais ne peut occulter Siepi ni son prédécesseur Pinza.
@@JURISMICH oui, bien sûr, enseigner ne permet pas de transmettre des qualités physiques, mais pour un chanteur le plus important étant de savoir se connaître et reagir convenablement à ce corps qui lui est donné, Siepi, outre son timbre, etc, montre un exemple d'harmonie, et ça aurait été intéressant de voir comment il pensait sa voix. Ça peut aussi être absolument décevant, si rien n'a été ensuite utilisable pour les autres, ce qui semble le cas pour Ramey qui n'a jamais voulu enseigner, malgré les années de vocalises avec Boyajian.
