There's a lot of inaccuracies in this video, but good effort, and honestly i don't blame you, only being 20 hours in, when the "tutorial" itself is like 100 hours, give or take. This is an issue with warframe tbh, and it 'does' accurately represent the 'new player experience' to a degree, that new players really don't even understand what kind of game warframe is, much less how the systems or monetization works, - let alone what a warfame even is. lol These are luxuries reserved for players who invest a lot of time to learn and understand it, unfortunately. It's a huge iceberg, and that's the issue, it's a beautiful iceberg, unlike anything else that is out there, it's pure gold, but new players aren't able to see the ice under the water, and don't understand the time required to even know what they've gotten themselves into, and thus their judgements are based on purely what they see from the initial - and that doesn't exactly paint an accurate picture of the game. This really needs to be fixed somehow. First impressions are important, and when you're offering one of the most unique and creative and soulful gaming experiences out there, new players need to see and understand that from the get go, not after 100 hours. Otherwise you get people logging in, playing a few basic missions, seeing all the microtransactions in the market and wondering why they have no new stuff and conclude it's some pay 2 win nonsense and uninstall, never giving it a chance, when nothing could be further from the truth. New players need more direction, it's really my only gripe with game, 600 hours in, Well, that, and the crafting times, but it's not a time gate once you realize you can easily farm the 'premium currency' in game. Once you get into the flow, you'll have so much stuff in the foundry to claim, there's always something cooking in the mean time while you chase your next goal.

Hey there, L4 here. Your video popped up in my feed. I just wanna give you some pointers. 1 - Please do not compare Warframe to Destiny as they are completely different games. 2 - Don't do missions alone, help is always available. Say you get yourself a Lich or a Sister, and you're having difficulty, ask for help. 3 - All frames occupy a niche - familiarise yourself with their niches. If you're comfortable with certain frames, for instance such as: Khora/Nekros/Hydroid as the farm frames, learn their kit and how to utilise them through various mission types. 4 - Micro Transactions are not forced or thrown about in your hud. It's not a "YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS TO CONTINUE THIS THING" it's more of a "YOU CAN BUY THIS THING IF YOU WANT TO or FARM FOR IT" 5 - Don't blitz through the game; take it slow and learn what Planet/Moon/Void location gives. 6 - Not all frames are locked behind an MR blockade; you can use frames, you just gotta get the resources and build em. 12 hour build time isn't that bad; it used to take 3 days. 7 - You can actually understand the universe of Warframe through your codex at the cockpit of your orbiter. 8 - Modding is important; understanding the values and what each mod gives will help improve your gameplay. 9 - As you progress throughout Sol, you'll be introduced to new vehicles such as a railjack and/or your necramech. They, along with other vehicles (save for your Kaith) have their own mods to help you turn the tides when you go about using them. 10 - I truly hope you have a decent time with Warframe, and that you do familiarise yourself with all aspects this game offers. Even say, as an example, you've been in Warframe for a while, you can pinpoint where certain resources drop and where the best place to farm em are. As an example: Polymer Bundle. Best place to farm that is Ophelia on Uranus - Survival Mission type. 11 - There isn't really a "proper" endgame to Warframe. Sure there's fashionframe or steel path, but that's not endgame. 12 - Some weapons/vehicles can go beyond the level 30 cap. These items consume 5 forma to reach level 40. How that works is they will cap each time with an increment of 2. Let's say I have a weapon and I want it to go to level 40. It will first cap out at 32 after 1 forma; then to 34 after another; 36 after the third; etc. 13 - Have scanners or the Helios/Helios Prime companion with you. Robotic/Sentinel companions come with precepts, and INVESTIGATOR is important. With it equipped on Helios/Helios prime it automatically scans pretty much everything. But yeah, hopefully these tips help, and that you do continue to enjoy Warframe. The NPE, I can somewhat agree with, but Warframe is a very social game - help isn't too far, ya just gotta be willing to ask for the help. 😊

I just started like two days ago... making some progress but still so lost. Almost uninstalled a few times as it feels like a slog but I know there is something in here that's gonna bring me excitement. Just need a new warframe, tired of running with Mag now 🤣

For Nightwave, yes get Nitain but the main things you want are Orokin Reactors and Catalysts, they allow you to double your Warframes mod capacity. Don't waste them on early weapons or Warframes you aren't gonna keep, but getting them early and keeping them will save lots of time and effort later.

Only one thing, f everything else except the wiki, wiki is the only one thing you need the whole journey you do in wf, no guides, no videos, just the wiki then you good to go

For context; It took me ~300 hours to stop feeling clueless, and ~600 hours in I started feeling like I 'got it'. I have no idea how they could possibly fix this for new players, so as it is it's just a game for people willing to grind for the long haul.

Overframe is a good way to look at builds for your favorite Warframe(s) but don't let that site trick you. Many if not most of the builds on there are outdated, overly expensive/complicated, or just sometimes straight up trolling/gimmicky builds. As you sink more hours into the game i would recommend just looking up your build(s) on TH-cam. great video!!!!

Not needing to grind is a bit misleading. This game is almost 100% grind. Yes, devs throw free stuff our way, but definitely not enough to skimp on diligence. Early game effort in picking up every resource, pumping mastery, and obtaining robust kit pays dividends in the future when you need 30,000 of a resource that drops 100 at a time, want to forma without going through CBT, or need to reliably farm the new hotness. Once you've made it to end game, you've made it - a good build is almost eternal, gear doesn't get obsoleted, even by primes, and credits grow on space trees. But the path to comfort is paved with grind-sweat and drop rate tears - or credit card receipts - and one should prepare accordingly.

As an 11-year veteran I can tell you that it would be preferable for all new players to start as mag as any clan is willing to take you in to get you a volt very quickly.

I think my first comment got taken down for linking directly to warframes market, i don't remember the most the advice i gave in it, the three big things i remember are ayatan sculptures can be sold for plat on warframe market, planet bounties can give a good amount of endo and each plantet faction has there own warframe to sell you for rep, and after completing a future quest you unlock something called the circuit that basically chucks frames at you, dont look too much into it unless you dont mind spoilers.

I think you are suffering from the lack of handholding that the new player experience provides. At 20 hours, you could easily have 3+ frames in your inventory, but the game doesn't tell you how to get them. Inventory slots can be earned for free just by doing night wave every season. Everything in the game CAN BE EARNED FOR FREE if you put in the time to learn.

When I started warframe I did my first trade got like 100 platinum I was very happy so I wanted to buy a prime part I think it was hildryn anyways I was in chat saying I wanted to sell it but I didn’t know the trading system and how much prime parts go for so I was gonna pay the whole 100 for one part. A veteran text me asking me if I was mad lol he was so upset because the other players were scamming me that day he gave me the whole run down on trading. I love him down and wish I could talk to him sum more❤️🙏🏾

every 3 months or so the game gets something new and every year there has at least 1 big event. the biggest mistake i see with new people is thinking they need primes. primes can be good but sometimes not the top of the line thing they think they are. second every frame can do every mission but learn the frames that work best for each mission. why use a slow frame in a fast mission or fast in a slow? never be afraid to ask questions just keep in mind the game has changed a lot. ive been playing for 11 years and stuff i thought i knew has changed. back in my day we walked and had stamina bars. We ran out of air on earth survivals. frames didnt even have all 4 powers you had to find the last 2. lol funny but true.

Clan Tier has nothing to do with completed research. Increasing a Clan Tier is affected by placing Barracks rooms in the Dojo. Increasing Clan tier just increases the member cap for that clan, but increases research costs to compensate for the larger number of contributers.

Nice little help video one thing... overframe builds are the worst they are only useful when you never build a warframe before or you allergic to youtube videos which are more detailed and/or more up to date since DE like to ruin build sthat are good ni their free time instead of fixing game breaking bugs...

Small correction 3:20 You seem to have confused Clan RANK with Clan TIER. Clan Tier (Ghost/Shadow/Storm/Mountain/Moon) can be changed at anytime by the clan leader, it dictates how many players the clan can hold, also the higher the tier, the higher the resource cost of research to balance with the number of players. Clan RANK is more like the MR rank of the whole clan, it is representative of how much of the clan research has been done. It is very much preferable to join a clan that has all the research done, as you as a new player will have more items you can get from the clan without needing to contribute. But there are also perks to joining a clan that isn't maxed yet as each time a clan ranks up there is an Ascension Ceremony that can grant endo to all it's clan members, up to 55,000 Endo. So, first things first, prime parts and selling them for platinum. Warframe marketplace is your friend. Second, grind does factor into the game. Time gates at first are oppressive but eventually become, "New thing, get it building and go back to the thing I was doing." Clearing all mission nodes on a planet allows you to use resource extractors to passively collect materials. Also avoiding those onerous time gates is a simple as, log in in the morning, start your foundry and go to: work, school, yoga, you name it. Third, the companion app is your friend. It's not great but it allows you to monitor your foundry and extractors without being at your computer/ console. Fourth, Duviri. This has spoilers for stuff you will see in The New War and considering the grind to get Necramechs that's about a month out or so. The Duviri Circuit allows you to focus farm a warframe without needing to rely on rng beyond what frames are offered. Fifth, marathon not sprint. Warframe has thousands of hours of content. Take your time, listen to the stories, read the codex, read warframe descriptions, engage in the world more than the surface level you've breached and you'll discover that complaints like, "transformative supers" is Stockholm syndrome from being forced to charge up a mandatory meter just to do one cool thing and go back to being just another body. In warframe your powers are yours to use whenever, however, and wherever a warcrime needs to be committed. Step back from the one pump chump of Destiny 2 and revel in rending entire maps devoid of enemy life with the push of a button. Spy missions, grab Ivara or Loki, invisibility, win. Or the kubrow that makes you invisible, or the Shade sentinel, or... you get the point. Warframe was originally a much slower pace game that spy missions for right into, not so much anymore and i agree that the brakes get pumped a bit harder for play style but part of it is learning the layouts so you can do mission impossible nonsense without Tom Cruise involved. Seriously, as a veteran of warframe since the Cicero Crisis, please seek out a mentor or watch some stuff about getting started as pure f2p in warframe. You'll have a much better time with it.

I gotta be honest with the void overshield buffs especially, way too many ppl are sleeping on peregrine greaves for strikes and lost sectors. They just delete champs and if they don't insta kill you can use a finisher after. Void overshield actually allows you to tank now as well. For stasis I prefer hoarafrost to icefall. They're very similar but hoarfrost gives you a wall that can block dmg and you can then later shatter it for frost armor instead of immediate frost armor. A lot more helpful for team play especially rooms with less cover. go to build for anything with champs is almost always greaves though.
