Another amazing video Fehzan! Another question for you, thanks for your time 🙏🏾 I am planning on starting a graduate audit role at a small firm, studying for the ICAEW qualification. Will this kind of role provide me with the skills, insights and expertise to be able to eventually start my own business? My dream is to own my own business one day. P.s. I know I’ve commented on a few of your videos seeking advice, but I don’t have any family or friends who have insight into this profession, so your help is like gold dust I really do appreciate your help so much 🤝🏾
Yes in practice definitely you’ll get exposure from the ground up, build relationships with clients, and work in a tough environment - all key requirements for starting your own business
I mainly watch TH-cam videos, in terms of how to use excel instead of doing courses (and ofc I practice them with my own spreadsheets). Will that be useful instead of having to pay for courses? Got a role starting in March is the reason I am asking this
Fehzan, if you got an in offer as an auditor but change your mind and want to go into tax. Can you as a beginner. Also is public speaking needed to be an auditor
Yes you can go into tax you’d probably have to apply to different schemes. Public speaking in terms of meetings yes but not in terms of large conferences if you don’t want to
@@FehzanMehdi like I applied for an auditor role. I'm in for hireview interview. But I want to change to a tax role instead. Do u think they will let me in this situation
This is perfect timing, Im starting an Accounting Apprenticeship. I studied IT before hand so im glad about using Excel
Great news

Is the tax role still recruiting? I'd pick up the phone to HR and ask the question. If the vacancy is now closed, I doubt you can.
@@FehzanMehdi how do I call hr. What's the phone number
Apologies for delay may find it on emails or google it and ask switchboard to put through to HR.
