QE FOREVER - Sunrise Highway - From the album Windows

Is Quantitative Easing ever going to end? The Fed says it will remain accommodative as long as it needs to....every ponzi scheme finally comes to an end....eventually. That's what this Neil Young influenced protest song is all about.

Occupy Wall Street -Millionaires March NYC 10/11/2011 - bigger than reported
มุมมอง 23112 ปีที่แล้ว
Here is some footage of the March. There were blocks and blocks of marchers, all ages and races, many many older folks(Upper East Side). Everyone was very cool, non violent and friendly. The Police were very accommodating and did a great job. No herding of protesters. Very organized and the marchers were not single file but marching in big crowds.

Death Of A Retail Salesman - visit to Moe Ginsburg NYC 1990

"Gotta Go To Moes" was located at 21st & 5th ave. NYC. Closed around 2005. A mecca of bargain suits, slacks, and even a portly blazer section . Watch as I interview the sales staff and learn how to shcmooze a customer.
Unrecognized NYC Landmark "THE FUNNY STORE" Times Square in the early 1950's
มุมมอง 1.6K13 ปีที่แล้ว
Filmed in 1990 this amusing little shop was located at the worlds most famous intersection, the corner of 42nd & 7th ave. A practical joke, magic shop where you could buy fake shit, vomit, squirting nickels, joy buzzers. Great assortment of gags and humorous characters working there. I had an interview with who I think was the owner. Brilliant opening theme "Tourist Trap" song by Steve Unger

I absolutely loved this trip down memory lane. 1967 after prom, the place to go. Double dated at Hawaii Kai with boyfriend, now husband of 53 years. Still have my professional photo in it's logo cover. I had a virgin Pink Lady! Thank you for this interview❤❤

The editor has abused the effects box :) The interviews with the handheld mic prove that a soundman with a mic on a fishing pole makes cleaner image.

There is a restaurant and bar in Fort Lauderdale known as the Mai Kai. They have all the same drinks, pupu platter, and polynesian shows. The bar has the theme of being in a old wooden ship. It is amazing, check it out.

I grew up in NYC in the 60s, 70s and 80s before I moved out. While we talk about how much has changed since the 80s, I remember my grandmother at that time telling me that the city had changed a lot since her day. She said it was a magical town in the 20s through 40s except for the depression period, which she managed to do okay during. Whether it was cleaner and safer is up for debate, it's never been a truly safe town, but all the fancy buildings and monuments of the early city were new and the subway, too. People were more uniformly dressed then and most people conformed to an agreed upon social norm. Today, it's anything goes.

Amazing video. I had an eye for things as well. I tool the door pulls from the closed nedicks on times square which were two big hotdogs. I had my eye on the glass door of the Hawaii kai which had a sign on it $7.00 cover with 2 drink minimum great video

Some time in the future the city will find a way to tell the ENTIRE WORLD:HEY SEXXXXXXXX AND WHAT EVER GOES WITH IT IS VERY BENEFICIAL TO US ALL: THEN THE CITYS WILL START TO CASH IN ON ALL THAT SEXXXXX! (the same way the city took over NUMBERS RACKET/LOTTERY GAMES/MARIJUANA BUSINESS/HEROIN (metadon) YEP THEY ALWAYS FIND A WAY TO BUFFER IT ALL UP TO SOUND CUTE AND ALL OF A SUDDEN IT IS NOT DIRTY ANYMORE! Nyc has become nothing but a cash grab. The only people who can afford to live there are the wealthy, and saudi real estate investors. I feel sorry for these Johnny-come lately millennials who think they've moved to the cool hip-hop, punk rock Manhattan of the "70's& "80's. Doesn't exist anymore. Was born & raised there, & I gtfo in the late "90's. Just a sad shadow of what it once was.

Great tribute. If i am not mistaken it had a Polynesian theme. When it closed during the rebirth of times square the glass doors were still there with the admission and cover charge,i think it was $7.50 to get in and they had the bankamericard sticker on the door.trust me i tried hard to take the door but it was too heavy.i didn however wind up with the two hot dog door pulls from nedicks up the street. Great video
