Welcome to my channel.
DARTrader Media Productions is a channel dedicated to fixing things with some random stuff thrown in.
Coming from an engineering background being a metal machinist and tool maker before starting my own business trading and repairing audio / video equipment for 27 years until 2020.
Since 2020 I have been a full time carer for my wife and use some spare time to repair things and make videos that might help others.
There’s still plenty to learn and it keeps me focused, we all need something to stimulate the brain as we get older.
Anyway I hope you find something of interest on the channel and perhaps it helps you in some way, that’s my aim.

How to fix a Bose Wave Radio AWR1B4 with no sound & remote control intermittent
In this video I fix a Bose Wave Radio model AWR1B4 that had no sound and remote functions were intermittent.
I purchased this a few months ago from eBay for £22 as spares / repair so thought I’d give it a go as usually it’s just some electrolytic capacitors that require replacing.
Hopefully the video will help somebody as it’s quite a common fault on this era of Bose.

In this video I show you how I replaced the corroded battery terminals on a Bush radio. This method will work on anything really with corroded battery terminals. The only variant will be the size of the terminals and if they have the wires soldered to them. Terminals are available from Amazon and eBay, I paid £4.99 for a pack of 20 AA size from Amazon.
