I got similar results at first as it depends on how tight a fit the spindle is. After a little adjusting the length managed to get it as good as can be but it was never as good as it was. It takes a little more of a press than it originally did. Many thanks for your great comment and best wishes.

If it has the same fault then it's quite possible but I really have no idea. You would also need to purchase the correct flex cable for that model. Sorry I can't offer any better advice and many thanks for your comment.

@DARTraderMediaProductions £16 for one wheel . Clip is built in on the back of it . I've found a few blade 3's and 4's on market place for around £20 - £40 for a whole used vaccuum . I'm just going to collect up spares for mine. Blade 3 parts fit the blade 4 . I know the wheels fit both anyway. I like tinkering with appliances, I'm going to come up with a better clip for my broken wheel, preferably metal instead of cheap plastic Vax have made a great little machine here, mine pulls hair out of carpets great , I guess they've just cheaped out on a few parts to keep their prices competitive. Nothing unusual, everything has its kryptonite. There's actually a really good shark vac out on the market now, which has a pivot joint in the main pipe stem so it can easily reach under low tables , problem is that clip takes alot of wear and breaks often .

@@ndavies5968 That's interesting, I've never played with any of the Shark vacs. I really suffer for time these days as I'm a carer for my wife but like to take anything apart and try to fix it. I bought some more Argos returns about a month ago and will be going through them in the new year and filming what I find but first I have to remodel the living room. Maybe you could film some of your repairs and share them on ebay, it can be very helpful to others and could lead to a new income stream.

I really have no knowledge of that model. If the fault is the same then possibly but you would need a flex cable for that model. Sorry I can't offer any better advice and many thanks for your comment.

Yes you can get them from BT, I think I read they will give you the first disc if you need one but you have to pay for any extra. My router is just warm to the touch and I havn't had any connection issues. A firmware update can solve some issues but I'm no expert. I connect the TV using ethernet as it's a better connection but everything else is on WiFi. The disc I put in the back room gives me the same speed as I'd get if connected to the main router with no drop at all, before I had a drop of 16mps. Many thanks for your great comment.

Nothing more to show really, it's just two bolts and two nuts to undo and refit. Nothing too technical, the video was to highlight the problem, the actual replacement was so simple it needs no more than shown.

Oh yes, but finding the hole(s) is a pain. At the time we lived in an old Victorian school that had been converted into seven apartments and the whole building was infested with mice. They moved in when some land at the side was cleared for a new developement. The mice were bad enough but if you went in the kitchen there was a good chance of standing on a slug but the mice would run away. We got to know the slugs usually only appeared after dark and usually around 11 pm. We got rid of the mice eventually but the slugs remained a problem right up until we moved three years ago. 🤣🤣🤣

It maybe possible but I don't know if I'm honest as I have not really studied how the protection works. Sorry I can't help with that one and many thanks for your comment.

I used a figure of 8 mains lead from an old cassette player. I just stripped the outer covering and used the blue and brown cables. Many thanks for your comment.

I have used that method too and it works well, just need to run a drill around the hole to make the edge flat so the disc runs true sometimes. Many thanks for your great comment.

@@tangiblemammal5273 Good question, you won't know until you buy it I guess. If you already have a 2mm drill you can use your fingers to turn the drill, it take a little longer but I have used this method on plastic many times model making. Many thanks for your great comment.

I got it just to add to my other test stuff but I can see it being quite useful. Before retiring I had my own business buying and refurbishing audio video equipment but these days I just find things that need fixing for something to do. It will come in handy I'm sure and it's not expensive to buy.

That's a strange one, not come across that myself but I think I had another comment similar. I can't really offer any advice with not experiencing the problem myself. I take it you haven't been in the main body of the Vax and disturbed anything by any chance.

Well that's a pain, not had that problem after swapping out the caps. Looks like it's going to be a little time spent with the meter to locate the fault, could be more caps on the main board as they are pretty poor at that age. Many thanks for your comment and hope you can resolve the issue.

I'd like to say yes but unfortunately I just don't have enough time to do my own things, I'm a full time carer for my wife and time is just not on my side.

Pleased the video has helped you. I wouldn't let it put you off purchasing LG in the future, they are a very reliable manufacture. I had my own business repairing audio / video equipment until I retired a couple of years ago. I had a contract with a local rental company repairing their TV's and video's and the owner of the business would only install LG or Samsung LED TV's, to be honest I think we had more Samsung out there. Samsung and LG make their own boards not like many others who just buy in a TV with a Vestel chassis and stick their name on it. Most of what's out there is utter dross meant to last 10 mins I'm afraid. Many thanks for your comment.

I know it's madness but it's happening all over the UK. We visit our daughter in North Walsham a couple of times a year and we were last there in July. We used to live in Crewe before we moved to North Wales and the council there have demolished most of the town centre to make way for a new bus station, multistorey car park and shopping centre. They only built the Bus station and car park as the finacial climate was'nt right to complete the project. Now they are just going to grass over the remaining land until they say the time is right to complete. They now have a new bus station and car park but no reason to visit the town centre as most shops have moved onto a trading estate. Denbighshire county council arn't much better to be honest, they say they have no money but find it to waste on a new bin system and electric bin wagons that were'nt needed. North Walsham is still a nice place compared to many though. Councils should ask the people that pay council tax what they prefer in their town.
