Fixing a Vax Blade vacuum cleaner with screechy motor bearings

In this video I fix our Vax Blade that has developed a screechy motor .
The noise was worse as the motor slowed down and sounded to me like a dry bearing.
Basically a case of stripping it down to gain access to the motor and applying some lubricant to the motor bearings.
Not a nice job but I thought I’d give it another chance of dodging the scrap bin.
How long it will last for I have no idea or if the oil was suitable but it has made a difference for now.
