I got a solid ergonomic base. Box springs tend to wear out faster and develop I’ve noticed sinking/bending over time. I wanted to order another comfort layer from you guys but we are getting used to the extra firm so not sure yet but I been referring you guys every chance I get. Best mattress I’ve ever owned!!!!!
My full metal bed frame has numerous meta crossbars spaced about 6” apart. What’s your thoughts on using plywood on the frame and underneath the mattress?
I purchased a gel mattress and it felt great in the showroom. However, now that it has arrived, I find it to be too firm. We haven't bought a bed yet, so we just placed the mattress directly on the floor. I had assumed that the presence of a box spring in the showroom made the mattress feel softer. Is it possible that the box spring could actually make the mattress feel softer, or do I need to replace the mattress or purchase a topper? thanks
Great question! If it was on a box spring in the store, that definitely could be the reason why it felt softer. There's also a break in period with a new mattress and typically that takes 4-6 weeks to get used it. If it still doesn't feel right then I would recommend reaching out to the company you purchased it from and see if they have an option to go softer! Hope that helps :)
I have the bed frame with only 3 slats that are spaced out and my memory foam is just sinking through. Don't know if I should get boxspring or more slats
as for me, to place extreme-soft pure Queen-sized latex mattress on Bedsprings / Boxsprings (high-profile) is for SEX support. more bouncier, more merrier. slat/platform based bed are quite dull for sex. need much bounciness to add spice on sex preferences.

I am looking for a mattress and I am loving your videos. Thank you!
SO, coiled box springs are still in production today? I was given the impression (elsewhere) that they were being phased out of the market by slats.
I have an antique iron bed with four slats. I need a new mattress. You answered my questions. Very helpful.
I have slats and they are about 2 inch apart but my mattress is too soft and sinking can I still put a box spring for support ?????
Please talk about how one needs to consider the weight amount that will be on the boxspring
Putting my new mattress on a box spring, :/ no foundation or anything to protect my mattress on the floor from dust mites and mildew, great video

Finished watching video. I got my answer 😂

What Springs should the Box Spring have, Bonnell? Pocketed coils? Or Torsion Beams?
My bed has the wood foundation slats and over that box springs. Can I place a memory foam mattress right on top?
What would be the best foundation for a memory foam mattress, wood or metal/steel?
We definitely recommend wood!
Need a big favour. What can I use instead of a box spring for my king size bed. I am uncomfortable with the height having a box spring. Thank you !
You can either do a 2” bunky board or slats!
@@sdmattressmakers thank you very much !
