Sad that this video is over bright so that I can't see what you are doing...
@mamiesews123 do you have a video on how to thread the machine ?
Beautiful ❤️ I just purchased one of the same model from a thrift store for $29.99 I’m trying to thread it so i can use zigzag pattern do you have a video how you thread it love?
HI! A friend gave me that machine, but does not have pedal. It requires a pedal? Thank you
Yes it does require a pedal or a knee lever which is attached to the sewing table.
@keilahsheashea614 Thank you!
It’s a gorgeous beast!
Thanks!🥳 Could you show or explain how you regulate the motor speed? You said 200 then 250 then 500...? Mine is just full speed😂
Is it a servo motor? Which is a motor that you're able to control the speed on.
You are a good teacher. I found your narrative very informative. Look forward to seeing more of your videos!
what thread are u use in
Girlie, saving souls out here.
Awwwa, thank you!
Great video! I was hoping to also see how to set up the bobbin.
This was really helpful! I was having trouble trying to thread the tension spring, had to watch a few times.
Nice machine!
Thank you!
Thanks for this video. I have my Moms machine. I would like to learn how to use it. I have done some research on this machine and have found that if you get the right needle, you can do leather, because of the power this machine has. Who knew?
Your videos are so helpful and you’re a fun person to learn from, thanks for making these!
You’re welcome! Please subscribe to my channel if you’ve haven’t already. I will be bringing more video to come. Thank you!
Thank you for your thorough explanation of the steps/settings.
You’re welcomed!
Thanks! I couldn't find my user manual!
❤
I just bought a used one, serviced it, and it does sew beautiful stitches. I just need to buy more feet. Can you provide the number for the regular sewing foot? Thanks.
❤
What needles for this machine?
16X2 is the needle that is used for this machine, however I've adjusted the needle bar so that it can now use 135X5 needles. Thanks
Thank you, very much

Thank you for this video! It helped a lot while working with this model machine!
You’re very welcome. Thank you for watching.
Estoy en España... perdona por favor, el malentendido. Refrey es una marca que ya cerró, pero sus máquinas son muy duras, y aún podemos conseguir piezas por aquí
I have a chance to pick one up locally in Michigan for 400 with table, new sailrite servo, it's a black oldie in working condition serial number starts in 22. I refurbish home Singers, this would be my first industrial type. I want it for leather. What's your opinion?
I’ve had several walking foot machines, this has to be one of the best ones that I’ve worked on.
Hi , I’m Missing my embroidery foot 030 . Can I still do the decorative stitches ? Thx
I have one as well and great video. I am trying to learn how to use my better by watching some TH-cam's videos. BTW I hope you kept both sewing machines, the older ones are made so much better than than these plastic/nylon ones. God Bless.
So much clearer than the instruction manual! Thank you!!
You’re welcomed!
What ampage is the motor on that sewing machine .
You should try it on a long arm frame with the bernina
I have Bern quilting on this machine for three years now
030
I have the same one too
Would you consider getting rid of eather one
Thank you, I just got one of these, very helpful video
Thks I love this machine❤
Will this sew leather ?
Yes
Please what is your needle type and size?
Thank you so much for this video and your efforts. I also love my Bernina. Can you show how you set up machine to do decorative stitches please🙏
Oh auntie you are a lifesaver!
Thank you!!!
So glad you posted this!!😂👩🌾
Me too lol
Very nice and thanks for demoing. I recently acquired a lot of letters/bill heads from an early 1900’s business in my area. In 1913 they contacted Singer about this model for replacement parts. I searched the model and here I am watching you. Gotta love technology.
this was so helpful, thank you so much!

Hello from Texas! Thank you for a video that is clear, concise, to-the-point, and all about the MACHINE!
You're welcomed.
OMG thank you so much for this!! I just inherited my husband‘s grandmothers sewing machine, the same woman whose rings wear & who’s kitchen table I still use. I just couldn’t figure this one out & this video helps tremendously!!! I have a few more questions, any way I could pick your brain on this particular machine?? I’m not new to seeing just never used a machine of this age & don’t want to mess it up. Any help would help. Thank you
Auntie!!! Thank you!!! I've been sitting here trying to thread the bobbin just to start the stitch and I was about to just scream and anger but your video saved everything. Thank you thank you thank you!
Thank you, Madam! I'm about to go and pick up a Bernina Record 730 that was advertised on Gumtree and I'm so excited! I have a Bernina Activa 230, computerised, but have been reading a lot and watching plenty of TH-cam clips on how well the 830 and 730 machines sew: the satin stitches on those machines can't be beaten. Fingers crossed, mine might be working as beautiful as yours... Could you please send me a link to your other videos, if you have, on how to WIND the bobbin? Thank you.
Hello and you're welcomed. Hope that your machine is working out for you.
@@keilahsheashea614 Yes, thank you! She is so well looked after with a great service record. A good bargain.🙂
Thank you so much. My gran died before she could show me how to use the machine. I inherited from her and didn't know what to do until I saw your video.
You’re welcomed and if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Many thanks from western Colorado!!!
