@14:14 😑that is the bolt that is rounded out on my bike. I've already successfully changed the oil but now I'm trying to change the oil filter on my 2017 Honda Cbr300r but cannot due to this bolt being so severely rounded out. Do you have any advice on how to extract it???

it seemed like he poured too much oil into his bike. 1.5l with oil filter change. but as you added to oil filter. you might need another 1.4l the same amount changing oil without changing oil filter required. and even in Thailand 10w30 is used as original factory maintenance program after sale.

After I put the oil and turned on the bike how long until the oil settles down after I turned the bike off. So I can see how much to add after the oil is in the filter.

I’ve had an IQ shield on my fitbit Ionic for over two years. I replaced it once when I tried to scrap off some sticky gunk and I really marred the surface, but it on good and lasts for ever if applied correctly.

Oil is dripping from the filter area but I've tied the screws as recommended by manual. Is it normal that it's dripping the first couple of times I've turn on the bike?

Manual says to use SAE 10W-30, can you tell me why you used SAE 10W-40? What is the difference?

My tool kit didnt come with the extension piece for the spanner. I called partzilla and they said it doesnt come with an extender. Any suggestions on how to get better torque? I am at a loss.

Thanks for the video. I am 102 Kg and I made some experiment today and found that 3 is too soft and 5 felt too hard. I tried 4 and it was spot on ;) By the way, the tool that comes with the bike sometimes slips when you try to decrease the number, but goes fine when you increase the number. If this happens to you, try to change the tool from Yamaha, or, just keep increasing the number 3-4-5-6, what will happen is that that it will then go back to 1. Don't panic when you hear a clicking sound when you go from 6 directly to 1. This is normal. It took may half a day to realize this, so I thought about sharing it with you guys. It might save someone half-day ;)

Why should you be adjusting the preload? Is it for height of the bike? or just bounce when riding? I have an R3 idk what the preload is but it is pretty bouncy

Hammer and screw driver you don't need to remove anything.

We'll check it later with a torque wrench? Why not just use it now...? Also you might want to take the filter back off and install the filter spring, without out it most of the oil will bypass the filter, plus once a crush washer is crushed it's done, just get a new one they are cheap. But other than that nice step by step tutorial.

I really cant tell what preload am at. what references are there, you said that you knew you were at five because there were two left? I looked and it wraps around, how do you know when its maxed... is there a notch?

i just checked the manual, it says always to go from 1-2-3-4-5 or when you are going down to go from 5-4-3-2-1, if i understand this correct you should have gone back from 2 to 1 then 1-2-3. And it always says to only move one and not to jump over positions. I am not criticizing your work, just trying to find the right solution :)
