Hi, I have a very similar device (looks exactly the same except it's a different manufacturer I think). It works very well for me except for sometimes I have to unplug and plug back in the BT adapter (basically restart it) in order for it to connect with my iPhone. This only seems to happen when my car has been shut off for a short period of time. To better explain: If I shut off my car for about 1 minute or less and then start again, the BT device WILL still work, as I think it remains connected for this short time period. If I shut off my car for an extended period of time, say 15 minutes or more, it will reconnect fine when I restart my car. The problem arises when I shut off my car and then restart after 5 to 10 minutes. At this point it will NOT re-connect, and I have to restart the BT adapter. This scenario actually happens quite a lot as it's not uncommon to stop at a store or something for a few minutes, and then my BT stops working. I'm just wondering if you've tested this unit enough to be able to comment if the same thing happens? I haven't established the exact amount of time that causes the problem, but I would say it's in the 5 to 10 minute range. thanks for any feedback you have.

Mine arrived today works perfectly well and lowers rather that overrides music when playing navigation (love that) only gripe is spotify tracks all display as "spotify" rather than track name. Anyone find a way around this?
does it automatically connect and start playing music without fuss every time you start your car, or do you have to go into the bluetooth settings on your phone and connect every time?
Hi Moonshine. No battery. It needs a power supply. In my car the unit is powered by the AMI cable. The Bose speaker I hooked it up to is powered. I hope this helps.
Hi Eric. Yes. You can take Bluetooth calls and listen to music while the device is plugged in..but not at the same time. When you receive a call the music stops and you can take your call. The music resumes after you hang up. I hope this answered your question.

Hello. Once you've paired your phone and music streaming is working fine, can you actually make a call or receive one through the car's native BT interface in parallel?
Once you connect you should be able to use the hands free to make and receive calls through your car. The device is for music/audio only. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching my video.

Hi Andrea. I need a little more information. If you plug an ipod in you should be able to control it with the Audi controls. If you have the wma 1000 you can use any phone or ipod through Bluetooth. You may need a compatible cable for your car. Let me know what your set up is and I'lltry to help.

stipevedder that's just the system all Audi system before 2014 does this including all lamborghinis so you can't fix it

Hi Eric. The WMA 2000 is USB. If your car has a USB iPod connector you may want to go with that option.

It works fine. There are a few issues here and there when shuffling. But for the most part it good.
