Hi Becky, the hutch looks amazing. I love the melamine platter you added. As with so many, my heart is heavy with the destruction that has happened in Western NC and throughout the path of Hurricane Helene.
Becky you are such a treasure. Between your beautiful, creative decorating and your oh so generous spirit you manage to make the world a better place each and every day. Praying for everyone affected by Helene. May God hold you all in the palm of his hand.
You can buy some cute dishes in black orange purple green red and put them on the wall next to the Halloween decor. It would look great, 😊☺️🥰 Just an idea 💡. Great video 📸
Becky, Thank you for asking for prayer for everyone affected by Helene and since this video Milton! Prayer is the best thing we all can do and trust that God will bring help, comfort, and maricles for them all! As for your decorating,it truly is Soooo Spootacular! I too, felt guilty decorating while so many are suffering! I do believe that it is OK to keep doing what we love and enjoy our many blessings with each day,for you never know what tomorrow may bring. I think we have to be thankful for all of these joys that many times we take for granted! ❤️🙏🥰
I live in Florida and have gone thru both hurricanes this year. Please do not apologize for decorating your house. I am a decorating fanatic as well. In these days of gloom it is nice to see the decoration, they bring joy to others. Do what makes you happy and others will enjoy as well. I LOVE your decoration!!!!
Happy Halloween at Becky & Dave's house 🎃 Looks fabulous Becky. I particularly like the bottom of the hutch with the Becky & Dave pumpkin heads. I really like your retro Halloween decor Thank you for your kind words & thoughtfulness to all those in devastated areas. It will be a long haul for them. 🙏 Love & take care 🌼
Hi Becky. Dollar Tree has the little pop lights that can be put up under your cabinets for the extra lighting that you want. They run off of batteries, and they have a sticky tape on the bottom that will hold them underneath your cabinets. I hope this idea helps. You have such cute ideas. I really like the coffee cups in the skeleton hands. The names made me laugh. Your hutch IS truly magical. So cute. I have a sister in Candler, N. Carolina. I appreciate your thoughtfulness and prayers. She feels so very blest because she still has her house and her neighbors. It will be a couple weeks before they have water, but she has electricity and cell service and the love of friends. Thank you, Becky, for your kindness, and yes, I do believe in prayer. Vivian in Texas 😊
Halloween season is here!!! Thank you for letting us share in your decorating for the season. Loved it all. My heart goes out to everyone in your state and the other states affected by the catastrophic storm. 😢❤
I love your beautiful Halloween decor. You are so talented. I've Bern praying so much for the people in North Carolina. My heart breaks for them. I live in Virginia and we lost power and internet but that's nothing compared to everything else. Damascus Virginia took a really hard hit. Houses were washed away and roads washed away. Some of the people here just got power back yesterday. They had to some of the rebuild power grids. I never seen a storm that affected so many states. Appalachian people are tough and they will rebuild and get through this. I watched a video yesterday when someone was delivering supplies and he was so impressed at how hard the people where working. Men cleaning up outside and working on the roads.Women cooking outside and serving food. He said they were tough hard working people. I love how your Halloween decor looks.❤👻🎃
The local community has really come together and helped each other out. Neighboring states and come to their rescue as well. I keep hearing story after story about how grateful they are to their neighbors who have come out to help.
Hi Becky I really enjoyed you decorating your hutch it looked great with your Joanna Parker items. Thank you for sharing . Enjoy the spooky season. 😊🎃👻🦇
Hi Becky! First of all, I am so glad you and your family are ok. I wasn't sure if your part of NC was also affected and when I didn't see a video from you on Sunday, I got so worried. Glad you are okay. Second of all, you have such a beautiful heart to be so concerned with what is going on in your community/state, that you thought decorating your home would seem frivolous. You've heard the song/prayer "Break our hearts for what breaks Yours
Becky you are so sweet and thoughtful. I just love your videos. I live in Florida and my husband has relatives in North Carolina. Just breaks my heart how so many families have been affected. Praying for everyone.
I love seeing Miss Flossie😊. Great video and lots of prayers for all those affected by the hurricane, especially in Western NC. The pictures are devastating and heartbreaking ❤
Becky, Praying for all in your home state and surroundings states affected by Helene! Breaks my heart 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 As I said before I don’t decorate for Halloween but I do enjoy seeing you decorate and enjoying yourself. I loved the candy corn S&P shakers and all the scaredy cats 🧡🤎🧡💜
Cute. I appreciate Halloween decorating even though I’m more of a fall decor gal. I dot a few here and there for the grandkids but we don’t get any trick or treaters where we live so I refrain from it. You have a really sweet display as always. Prayers are going out everyday. Ironically, I live in Pittsburgh and I have family in NC as well as Florida so my heart is broken for all the loss; always concerned for my family as well. We recently visited my sister in NC a week before Helene. We visited lake lure and the Beech mountain wizard of Oz park and now they are so devastated. NC is like a second home for us. My sister suffered some basement flooding and loss of power for several days but it pales in comparison with others have suffered. Although we feel thankful and lucky- we all believe in the power of collective prayer- and donation! Red cross is always a reliable charity. May Gods strength be apon them.🙏💕
You have an awesome Johanna Parker collection, really like the leaves and crows on top of the hutch. Your Becky & David pumpkin dolls are super cute and I like how you have the skeleton hands holding your coffee mugs. Looking forward to seeing more!
Love all of it Becky! Your new shirt is adorable and perfect for you! I need to get some black birds like you have. Love them! The corners and little shelf on your countertop look so festive! Your Amazon shelf and hutch turned out very cute! I think the dough bowl works awesome there, I was thinking that maybe you could put a pumpkin and a few more leaves or greenery in it, but it does look nice the way it is too. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the hurricane.🙏 It is so devastating and my heart is breaking for so many. What a wonderful video and I am looking forward to Part 2 now, thank you! 🎃👻❤🐦⬛🧙
Hi Becky, love all your Halloween decor. One of your black cats I have too😂 glad you like the little mummy pumpkin ❤ My heart is with Western North Carolina too😓 prayers to everyone out there from locals, to tourists, to rescuers, first responders, linemen, firemen’s, national guard, everyone ❤❤❤
Hi Becky! Such cute and clever Halloween decorating ideas. I love to decorate a lot too in my house…it makes the atmosphere fun, I think. Nicely done!!❤
As usual, your Halloween decor is lovely and so fun! I enjoyed watching you decorate, but I can see your heart is heavy, as is mine. Thank you for bringing joy in what you do. We will continue to pray for all those affected by Helene.
I’m similar to you in that it’s awful what your neighbors are dealing with. I wouldn’t however want them to stop their festivities if I was in their situation. They need something fun to see to take their mind off of all that’s ahead of them. The first day you stared this video was my 62nd birthday. I’ve had back trouble for years and haven’t been able to decorate and I really miss it. I’ve never been in the hospital or had any surgery in my life. I just got my pre operation tests done today and I’m good to go on October 22nd for a surgery on my lower back. I’m looking forward to it all being healed and physical therapy being over so that hopefully I will be able to decorate every season next year. So this last couple of years you’ve done my decorating for me. Take care and I can’t wait to see what you and David come up with next.
I love watching you. The Halloween decorations are awesome. I over do all my holiday decorating. But I love it and have always done it. You are so sweet. I have and will continue to pray for all the hurricane victims. ❤❤❤
Everything looks so good Becky. Really love the mummy and deady mugs🖤 Looking forward to more decorating. I did mine a couple weeks ago but keep adding little details. 🎃👻🕸
Hi Becky, Everything looks great! I decided to not do Halloween since it was waying on me. I have nothing against anyone else doing it but I have alot of questionable decor and decided to stop. I am doing Fall though. I think what you put up is adorable and sweet. I am praying for all the states involved in the storm. I as many others have never seen such devestation in my life. Looking forward to seeing what you put up in the yard. Hugs, Pam ❤️🌹🙏
I'm sure your Fall decor is beautiful Pam. We all have to do what feels right in our hearts. I removed most of my witches this year with the exception of a few that are very cartoon like.
Oh Becky we've been praying for everyone! I believe our local fire department here in Ohio went down and I'm sure our church will be sending supplies! Your Halloween decor looks great mixed in with your everyday decor! Real homey and cozy ❤
Thank you Missy, the whole United States as a community has really shown WNC so much love. It's amazing to see so much goodness that is still in the world.
You almost made me cry. Thank you for acknowledging the hurricane's devastation and the human tragedies, and for asking for prayers and donations. We know where your heart is. You have made a Johanna Parker fan out of me! Your hutch looks wonderful!
Black and White are beautiful too. Especially when you have a neutral aesthetic. I would love to do that one year but I always get wrapped up with all the orange.
Amazing!🤯🤩👏🏻!! I only like a little bit of trick or treat theme for halloween. I do not want any jack o’lantern, witch, black cat, ghost or spooky stuff near my home!🤣😂 God Bless the hurricane and flood victims.
Becky your video is so cute!I love how you have decorated your kitchen and hutch for Halloween!!You put so much fun into all that you do!!!Your heartfelt intro. at the beginning of your video was so touching and heartfelt.Gid bless you and yours Jeep doing what you do hon!!!😁🧡🎃❤👍👍👍
Thank you so much for reaching out for people in Western North Carolina. I live about 50 minutes from both Boone and Ashville. It is absolutely devastating in those two areas. I have family in Valle Cruisis and Boone. They are safe. One great niece had a mudslide come and hit the backside of their home. Her family had to hike 2 1/2 hours to get to her mom and dads. They had so much debris to get around.
I’m in central NC and my heart is heavy also. As I sat and ate dinner tonight, I felt some pangs of guilt because I know so many in the western part of our state are hungry, thirsty, and suffering. My church collected a lot of items yesterday and will be partnering with others to send the items where needed. If any of you are in a position to donate, please do so. If not, a prayer will do just fine.🙏🏻That being said, your home looks so festive Becky and love the hutch😍🎃👻If you have an extra ghost plate you could place it in front of the dough bowl🤷♀️
We have been through 5 hurricanes in Florida since 2004. We (with 5 couples) took our annual September camping trip. This year was the New England states. We were towards the end of our trip staying in Mt Airy, NC and next day we were going to Tennessee for a few days, then go home to Florida…we heard Helene was going to turn and go Tennessee where we were supposed to go, so we canceled that place and headed from North Carolina to our house in Cobbtown, Ga. That night the storm didn’t curve west and came over us in Georgia. I prayed the big pine trees didn’t fall on our house. Next morning no power and we walked around and looked at the devastation. Pine trees down, but a huge one fell away from house and missed the workshop barely….God is good!. Last night October 2 we finally got our power back on (51/2 days) and got the rest of our cleanup done. Saw on TV today all the devastation that happened in the Carolina’s, Georgia, Florida….Helene was ruthless. Praying for all these people and areas 😢 - watching from our Georgia house
Oh no Debi, I am so glad that you and your family are safe, I'm also glad you are safe in GA right now and not in Florida. I pray your home is not damaged.
Becky your wallpaper is you👍🏻the colors perfect. Love all your decor so cute👍🏻🎃🧙♀️🐈⬛👻🐈⬛🕷️your home looks fantastic with all the fall and halloween colors. The colors really suit your home👍🏻🏚️🎃 you always put so much thought in your decorating and it comes out beautifully👍🏻🧙♀️🐈⬛🧹🧛💀👻happy haunting🕷️
🎃 Hi Becky love your shirt 🕷️wow that's alot 👻 Halloween Decor I hadto get some out I had way too 👻much .🕸️.love your decor and🦇 Flossy .✨🙏Prayers to the hurricane victims from Australia..
Becky, my heart is broken for the people that has lost family and homes due to hurricane Helene. I had some wonderful vacations in those beautiful places that were destroyed. I have cried and prayed and sent money to Samaritan Purse. Too old to go and physically help. Those folks have some hard months of work ahead. Let’s don’t let them down and continue to lift them up in prayer. Thank you for a few minutes of fun today. My heart has been heavy for days.
Me too Ann, everything you said. Samaritan’s purse is the best place to donate right now I feel. I have heard so many bad stories coming from FEMA and the Red Cross.
I always look forward to your videos when I have breakfast with my dog. You weren't there yesterday! ,, shock. I love your style, your collections, your enthusiasm. I also envy the stores you can shop at. I am in a small city in Canada and we only have Homesense. They don't seem to carry Johanna Parker or very few if they do. I think it might be transpac who makes it now. We do have a fancy garden center with expensive gifts. I managed to buy the cute ghost shakers about 6 months after hallowween...on sale...for $29 can. They did have some Christmas last year but a little Santa spoon was $29. Just too pricey, and it is also pricey on line, plus a minimum of about $25 shipping. We finally have a bit of Rae Dunn now that it is out of style. Haha. And Dollar Tree is now a minimum of $1.75 with some $2.00. It is getting hard to shop retail. We do have Value Village ( like Savers and expensive) and the Salvation Army thrift store. I think the ratio of pickers/ sellers is high compared to collectors here, so it is getting frustrating to find anything vintage. So we enjoy what we have and what you have. I enjoy your collections and your energy.
My goodness, I guess Canada does have much higher prices than the US. We recently got a Homesense in Wilmington and it was packed full of Halloween goodies. It was the first time I had ever been to one.
Hi Becky … so glad to see you and know you are ok. I have been thinking of you lots since the hurricane hit. I only know you and one of my first cousins who live in North Carolina. My heart goes out to those who I don’t know and I have said repeated prayers for all in the path of that storm. I know you are decorating with a heavy heart, but just knowing you are doing what you can, makes all the difference. Go ahead and decorate, get some enjoyment while you can because you never know what tomorrow brings. I bought some puck lights from Amazon - battery operated, six in a pack - for under my cupboards. They came with a remote, have several different colour selections for the lights and can be set to turn off at a pre-selected time and came with sticky pads. Love them. Very smart to decorate in advance and take a picture, to save time and keep from stumbling. I love how your hutch turned out - the black & white striped items really pop! It is magical 🐦⬛🍁🎃 What do you mean you were running out of decorations?? 😂. Looking forward to the Hocus Pocus tier tray. Hugs …
Becky…it looks GREAT!!! It made my orange and black heart burst with joy! And during this time, it’s exactly what my broken heart needed. Is Asheville where you and your family would go for vacation?
We would go to Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Boone, Linville, areas. Not so much Asheville because it is more of a populated area than what we prefer. All the areas we would visit were impacted though. It's heartbreaking to watch our home away from home go through this.
Becky your home decorating looks beautiful. Did you decorate your home before hurricane Helene are after I know that hurricane Milton devastated some part of Florida and I’m wondering did it affect you and your family in anyway. I do pray all is well with you and praying for Western NC and the people who have been affected in Florida. I do live in NC and my hometown of Rocky Mount had damaged from a tornado that came through when Helene came through but not as bad as the mountains. Try too stay safe there in Florida because our hurricane season doesn’t end until November 30th
I waited until after Helene to decorate outside but mostly because my heart was just not in it. I started on the inside the day before and I just kept stopping every 5 minutes to look at news coverage. We didn't get get any affects from Helene at all. Like you, we were just told to watch out for residual tornados since we were on the East side of the storm. I'm glad you are your family were safe from the tornado threats. I think we got one but it quickly died down and I thank the Lord because I am deathly afraid of them.
love what you do for Halloween but I don’t because we get no kids in our neighborhood for Halloween. So I stay fall decor. In Maine we don’t do much we live in the country we don’t get kids . Love what you do
You have a good soul Becky, and you love like Jesus does. We’re definitely holding those up in prayer who’ve been affected by this storm. It’s truly devastating for those in Asheville. One of my friends son moved there just last year and it was close to a full day before she was able to confirm he was safe. It’s truly shocking how much damage that town took. 😢💔🙏🏻
Yes, the table runner was at Home Goods this year. Not sure how much the stores still have in stock though. It's been several weeks since I have been in one.
My husband’s Masonic community will be collecting donations for the communities that have been hard hit by this terrible storm. I love that shirt your nephew brought you
Hi Becky, the hutch looks amazing.

I am always up for more dishes!😉
Becky,

Pine trees down, but a huge one fell away from house and missed the workshop barely….God is good!. Last night October 2 we finally got our power back on (51/2 days) and got the rest of our cleanup done. Saw on TV today all the devastation that happened in the Carolina’s, Georgia, Florida….Helene was ruthless. Praying for all these people and areas 😢 - watching from our Georgia house
Oh no Debi, I am so glad that you and your family are safe, I'm also glad you are safe in GA right now and not in Florida. I pray your home is not damaged.

I have heard so many bad stories coming from FEMA and the Red Cross.
everything looks adorable!
It is magical 🐦⬛🍁🎃
What do you mean you were running out of decorations?? 😂. Looking forward to the Hocus Pocus tier tray. Hugs …
Thank you so much Marlene❤️❤️❤️
Becky…it looks GREAT!!! It made my orange and black heart burst with joy! And during this time, it’s exactly what my broken heart needed. Is Asheville where you and your family would go for vacation?
We would go to Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Boone, Linville, areas. Not so much Asheville because it is more of a populated area than what we prefer. All the areas we would visit were impacted though. It's heartbreaking to watch our home away from home go through this.
You can make a jack o lantern face to the dough owl out of vinyl or felt and then remove it after Halloween
What a cute idea, I love that!
P.s. your collections are just amazing!!
I’m in East Tennessee close to the Smokey mountains it’s so sad the town close to me is gone no more I’m praying for you all up here big hugs💚🩷💚

Praying for everyone as hard as I can from Missouri ❤️
From Michigan I'm praying for everyone ❤
Love what you do
We have a couple hundred trick or treaters in our neighborhood during Halloween. I love having all the little visitors.
The thought of going one minute without knowing my child was safe is too much I can’t imagine how broken she must have been.
I love it all! I didn’t think Hobby Lobby sold anything that looked like Halloween. I really like the table runner. Did you get it recently?
Yes, the table runner was at Home Goods this year. Not sure how much the stores still have in stock though. It's been several weeks since I have been in one.
@@MyLittleVintageHome thank you so much. 😊🎃
❤❤❤❤❤
My husband’s Masonic community will be collecting donations for the communities that have been hard hit by this terrible storm. I love that shirt your nephew brought you
That’s so great Angela, they are going to need all the help and donations they can get. God bless you.
