That was an amazingly well done video. I was always curious about TOM's and SARD Supras from playing GT. It's a shame the BTCC couldn't do the same in the old RS500 era, just spat their dummies out and banned the car.

I owned an R33 and found it really disappointing. It felt too big and heavy. It felt slow to react. It didn't even feel that well built. It always put a smile on my face when I looked at it though. But compared to the Honda Prelude and MR2 I owned, the handling was nothing to write home about.

I just want to be clear about a couple off missing facts that you forgot to mention in this video. The F40 was been sold in the early 90's yes, but then the F50 arrived, so the F40 was a little old when the F1 was poduced and I believe it was no longer in production. The Porshce 959 was also not in production anymore and the only Porsche fast enough was the GT1, that was a dgnified rival along with the Mercedes CLK GTR capable of close figures to the F1, obiously not as fast but coming close to it

The crazy thing is that every Petrolhead has the same response to this video... _Those people simply ran out of talent. I've no doubt I'd be able to understand that car fairly quickly._

I'm an European, and movies like Transformers and most recent LeMans 66 made me love American cars like no other, especially the classy ones maybe because i'm attracted to the 60's, 80's and 90's and old movies like The Terminator, Rambo and Rocky.I don't really like our boring and snobby culture anymore and our new boring cars, i just wanna drive a "slow" muscle car from the 60's and hear that carburated big ass V8 growling in my ear and that's the end of the story

Absolutely fantastic documentary! I'm quite sure that the seats are not adjustable in the F1. I've seen in another video that the factory adjusts the seat for the buyer.

I got real high and watched videos on the history of rally cross, British touring car series, formula 1 and now this... 7 hours of history and I realized that all these different cars and races and countries n styles all peaked at the same time. From early 90s to early 00s they hit maximum awesomeness in the cars the drivers the races the rules everything all at the same time. I think aliens gave Taki Yamamoto secret technologies and it spread across all the racecar world 👽🚗🤯

The trick with getting smooth gear changes with often bad synchros in these E153 or W58 gearboxes used in the 3S-GTE, or T50 or E58 Commonly paired with the 4AGE, and the custom boxes you get with 503E and 171F is to not use manual gear oil, but instead use OW 30 Synthetic Engine Oil e.g. Mobil1. I learned this from one of the top transmission guys in Australia when I took my rare, heavily modified JDE 1989 MR2 GT from New Zealand to Aus. I have used this trick later in my custom Surpras, V8 Modded Corona Skylines, Corolla G6R, Corrolla TTE Compressor l, Honda S2000 and all of my Corvettes that had manual trans.

This is what i love about the japanese 90's supercars, like i would say that the halo car for jdm 90's supercars is the skyline, yes, the Skyline, a 4 seater car with a boot big enough to fit your family's monthly groceries, yes that skyline, its pretty wild.

“Killed Godzilla”? Well, this is one clickbait for JDM car enthusiasts. See that 1999 the Pennzoil Nismo GT-R won the Drivers’ Championship, while the Castrol Tom’s Supra won the Teams’ Championship. That’s far from killing it bruh. Besides, the GT-R aka Godzilla bloodline still dominates the whole JGTC, Super GT in number of champioships, so they’re far from being killed.

The MK4 was the last Toyota Supra. Now we have the BMW Z4/Supra that Toyota has come out with. It is no longer the Kingslayer of its predecessors.

Great documentary 👏. It has to be said, although this is a toyota story, the gtr was a class above. They did all they could to stop the r32 winning for years and it took an F1 car disguised as a road car to beat it.

My blood burns with 102 octans, we use no fairy liquid like the US with there 87 oct. water. That an engine even survives this thin watered down liquid.

The cummins crank bolt is not removed as much as the duramax and powerstroke engines. The crank bolts are not being torqued to spec or the bolts are stretching due to mechanics using the gun. It can also be that cummings use multiple bolts and duramax and powerstroke use a single crank bolt......
