Hi Ceractucus! So far we're satisfied with the velvetizer, we did look at various alternatives but, truth be told...Tina wanted it, so...Tina got it :) It's a nice unit, so far no complaints. If there comes a time to replace it, we may go with an alternative model. Happy Wednesay.

You're welcome! It's easy to make at home too. I like the buttermilk ranch recipes and it tastes better than anything I've bought in the store.

@@FinnLovesFood I would love to give the homemade version a try. does it have a good shelf life. I live alone, so i'm always fighting with shelf lives and best before dates. I usually buy condiments in tiny sachets if i can, because they last much longer that way, lol.

Hi Michael, Happy New Year to you too! We've mostly used HP sauce with beans on jacket potatoes, I don't think we've tried it on a burger. Hope you are doing well.

I really like the Shin noodles in the BIG red container. Makes plenty of broth to drink, then eat the noodles after. Nicey and spicy😁

@@Temeraire101 Yea some of them you get maybe 2 mouthfuls and they are gone, i sometimes use 2 packets instead of one. So i'm sure the large tubs would be sufficient for me, lol.

Hi Agranda, the chip sauce was a bit similar to salad cream, but I think less tangy. We have a weakness for burger and fries and these Beyond burgers were better than expected. Hope you're having a good week.

Brown sauce on steaks. The term American is a marketing' thing. Just like saying English muffins.

Hi Neil, the closest equivalent to the brown sauce there would be our A1 steaksauce, a permanent fixture in just about every American's refrigerator (been years since I had it)

Ketchup is the WORST tomato sauce, the fact that it’s very popular only proves that vast majority of people have crap taste. Once you’ve put Mexican tomato sauce on your Hot-Dogs you will never use Ketchup ever again.

Are those the ones that are sold individually? I don't think I've ever tried one!

Pickle ketchup is the best one, it's like the flavour of the sauce you get in a Big Mac. It's really good.

Agree with the clay like appearance although it broke up fine with a spatula for whatever I did use the mince for. Likely tacos as you don't need as much "meat" with the beans and peppers

It is amazing how they are more expensive. We found it at a discount store, but still more expensive than beef. They also had Impossible meat. Beyond was slightly better as far as fat content so we went with that.

@@Nick_Jarrett it definitely looked better after it was cooked.

Actually I find scotch bonnet is fine up until 3/4 the way up the pod and then it gets too strong to "enjoy" but chop up a whole one in a curry and it's fine. I just prefer homegrown rocoto chillis as I can freeze them and they cut up nicely frozen for tacos

Hi Nick, we had a feeling you'd be familiar with the hot sauce! We see a lot of hot sauces popping up around here from smaller brands. We haven't tried any though I bet they would give out samples at a farmer's market.

@@FinnLovesFood I stocked up on a few bottles at a time when they were £1 each or £1.50 for the large squeezy bottles. I did try Frank's red hot when it was £1 but didn't think much of the taste on food so I just had some from the bottle here and there as I liked the zing it gave and the fermented red chilli taste better by itself, rather than waste it. I do have 2 bottles of franks l jalapeño left but its a bit cheap and watery. I'm not too much of a fan of sriracha's fermented red chilli taste though. Yeah I mean as far as hot sauces I know of a lot of supermarket stocked ones but I won't touch the very low chilli ones like with the del monte. Reggae sauce (jerk bbq sauce with scotch bonnet) is always nice and I have 6 squeezy bottles left.

Sounds wonderful! We really enjoyed some garlic sauerkraut we picked up at a farmer's market.

We saw some recipes that included a cherry, but hadn't heard about amaretto cherries.

One of the bags was missing that piece that peels off. Not sure if it fell off at some point or what, but that's why I made the comment! But we have lots of clips lying around so easy to close them up.

They do chocolate orange so well. We liked the chocolate mint, but like filled chocolate mint even more like After Eights.
