Yes, I'm a fan. Beautiful chocolates! They make gorgeous little gifts in those packages too. I don't blame you though, if you don't share!! Those soft ginger biscuits are readily available in stores this time of year eg Aldi and Lidl. That sauce sounds very potent. Take care!!! 😂 Have a lovely weekend. The weather is very damp and miserable here atm, but the long-term forecasts say we may have snow by Christmas day!! ❄️ 😊
Hi Agranda, agree, the chocolates and packaging are just beautiful. We've been getting some rain this week and tomorrow is supposed to be rainy and windy. How nice to have a white Christmas! We don't get snow where we live, but Christmas is the one day we'd like to see it! 🙂Have a great weekend.
I'm sure there's a shop in NY in one of the many entries to the Subway. Still it may be cheaper to import it . The liquid in the cherries is normally Kirsch MnS have some addictive.
Hi Andrew, Happy Friday! Kirsch, very nice - we occasional have fondue and kirsch is often used in the fondue cheese. Addictive :) Hope you have a great weekend!
Hotel Chocolat are on QVC UK all the time, you can get great deals on there, especially over Christmas. The Velvetiser has it's own dressing room, bit of a diva.
Hi Halloweenville! Very nice, would love to see it easily available here. The Velvetiser is definitely an investment but so far we've been pleased with the results. Happy Friday and hope you have a great weekend! :)
@@FinnLovesFood I'd love to own one, but i'm not a huge fan of hot chocolate. i've heard you can make coffee in it. My basic cafeteria does the same job without breaking the bank, lol.
@@halloweenville1 we got a few of the mocha flavors which has a nice coffee flavor. We were thinking of using it to froth milk for a latte but haven't tried it yet.
It's lovely shopping in Hotel chocolat shops u can carried away all too easily delicious flavours in their mini packs Neil sent u, with Amazon black friday sales I was lucky enough to bag a a proper Velvetiser in copper from Hotel Chocolat. I'm looking forward to using over Xmas
@@Temeraire101 I'm totally new to this Neil although I bought hotel chocolate goody bags or those trays u sent ever since hotel chocolate 1st opened. I'm totally new to Velvetiser any flavours u recommend I could try or tips use others
@@rthoc71 I've not much experience of the Hot Chocolate, but they do a selection box with 10 flavours, called the Everything Box you can start with. There's also an Everything Box of Lattes if you think you may like. Of the selector trays, the above 2 are my favs, also the Treacle Tart.
@@rthoc71 the Everything Box Neil mentioned sounds like a good start. We enjoyed the advent calendar we got as it had a variety of flavors, including some limited edition ones. Still really like the pumpkin spice flavor and black forest gateau. Ross liked the 85% dark which is nice if you like it less sweet. The ginger was a surprise as it tasted like there was fresh ginger in it - very strong ginger flavor.
A tip for cooking with Scotch Bonnet chilli peppers is to cook them whole. Don't cut them at all then you can get the flavor without so much of the heat.
The sauce you can add to Chilli or Curry to really spice it up, or mix with Mayo to put on burgers or Hot Dogs for example. As mentioned on another comment Scotch Bonnet is VERY spicy at between 100,000 and 350,000 Scoville heat units. As a comparison Tabasco is between 2500 and 5000 Scoville heat units. The HC bag is what they gave me for the opening day gift bag, and I’m sure you’ll get a few curious people asking you at work and the shops about it😁
Hi Neil, mixing it in mayo sounds like a great way to start. I wonder what it would be like mixed in sour cream too? We wondered if the bag was part of the opening day event - very nice! I have one of my co-workers wanting a Velvetiser after I described it. Oh and I got an email about the mince pie flavor chocolate so it's now available on the US website. Thank you again for all the lovely chocolate.
@ it’s very potent. I have a friend who loves extremely hot food and this sauce sure does make him sweat! I’d advise to use sparingly. Would love to know what you guys think of it. Love your channel by the way 🙂

Hi Richard, glad you finally got a Velvetiser! We really like the copper color and having fun trying new flavors with the advent calendar.
I'm kinda kicking myself I did not send the Lemon Curd or Raspberry Pannacotta as they are 2 of my favs.

Hi Margaret, this sauce sounds a little scary, but Neil had a great suggestion to mix it with mayo.
