Pipers was started by three Lincolnshire farmers. They originally only sold to local retailers and at shows and events. But they sold to Pepsico (Walkers and Lays, etc,.) and are now available at supermarkets. My favourite flavour is Black Pepper & Sea Salt.
Hi Roy, Happy Friday! Very interesting, we didn't know of the Pipers origins. Occasionally we will come across local products found locally that later branch out to large store chains. Love the black pepper & sea salt, great with a cold drink. Have a great weekend! :)
Hi both , WHATa great vlog ,with an incredible array of crisps . I've never seen before Thank you for sharing all you do . Take care and all the best .👍👍😊😊💟🐶
I remember when crisps came in one flavour and a packet of salt in each packet, then cheese and onion came out in brown packets from Golden Wonder, I have tried Pipers crisps and I think the best ones for crisp butties are salt and vinegar and cheese and onion, have a lovely weekend, I must say that the Christmas markets have started in Manchester, hope to see you on Sunday.
Hi Michael, Happy Friday! Interesting, I don't recall ever having crisps/chips here that came with flavour packets. The closest thing I can think of are basically cracklings with a small sauce packet. Both of the varieties you mentioned for crisp butties sound like good choices, you're motivating us to prep them ;) We were just at our world market and earlier this evening and a week ago - the Christmas items are out as well as the Christmas music. Would love to see a Christmas market in Manchester some day. Hope to see you Sunday too! Happy Friday! :)
Hi Margaret, Happy Friday! Thank you for letting us know about it, I don't believe we've heard about that series, we'll look into it. The last British series we watched was the Detectorists, really liked it. Hope you have a great weekend! :)
Hi Tina and Ross you really do make a great team I have tried piper’s crisps they are very nice my favourite is the beef closely followed by the cheese ones but my favourite posher crisps are Tyrell’s you can’t beat them have a great weekend
Hi Vanessa! Thank you! :) We enjoyed all the ones we tried but the beef and cheese varieties definitely score high points. We still have some Tyrells, you just inspired us to do a side-by-side comparison, thank you for that :) Hope you're having a good Friday and have a great weekend! :)
Pipers crisps are sold at my local Co-op shop. I have only had a few flavours...must try more...but the cheese and onion are yum-my! Enjoy finishing those packets off and have a lovely weekend. Good to see the beautiful Finn. X
I love pipers chips . They are High End crisps more expensive than the normal crips . The cheese and onion is my fave and the Rosemary and thyme. Love your vids totally. Wishing you a happy holiday season also Finn
Hi Barry, Happy Friday! We've tried the caramel kitkats, but haven't tried the cookies and cream variety. We got back from shopping a moment ago at our local world market and we saw both side-by-side as we were talking about this very comment :) We noticed they had a large variety of Japanese kitkats, some were unusual flavours we typically don't see here, such as wheat, blueberry cheese cake. One variety I've noticed here is dark chocolate/strawberry "duos", have you tried them? Hope you have a great weekend! :)
@@FinnLovesFood Ah, awesome timing! The cookies and cream variety were pretty nice too. Blueberry cheesecake flavour sounds brilliant! No, I have not tried those duos! They sound good too. I hope you had a good weekend; it was great being with you during the livestream.
Berrick ( no need to pronounce the W ) is a town which is presently in England but has been fought over many times between the English and the Scots and has gone back and forth on many occasions , it's full name is Berwick upon Tweed the Tweed being a river of course , have a great week
Hi Richard, we checked out their web site and didn't see a tomato flavor. Did they discontinue it? Thanks for sending these delicious crisps for us to try.

Have you ever seen the British drama called Rosemary & Thyme? It's about gardeners/consultants who solve murder mysteries.

Hi Agranda, all were good, but the cheese and onion flavor is one of my favorites! Enjoy the week ahead.

Hi Maxine, they are lovely crisps. Happy holidays to you too!
Have you guys tried the Caramel kitkat and the cookies and cream kitkat? I thought the caramel one was one of the nicest kitkats I have ever had.

Hello Tina and Ross. Hope all is well. I like my Salt and Vinegar extra sharp. My childhood favourite flavour . Hope you both have a wonderful weekend
Hi Graham, you may like the salt and vinegar crisps we have here. They are on the sharp side. Hope you have a wonderful weekend too.
Bloopers are most funny at end video as extras watched u struggle or butcher our words that come so naturally to us brits.
We wondered if anyone would catch those at the very end. Little Easter egg for our viewers! 🤣

Angle-sea, yes pronounced correctly
All looked delicious. When Tina hogs the bags you know Ross won't get any more chips. Lol.
Hi Nick, yay, those were some tough ones!
Pipers do a tomato flavour but it's rarely in stock it's only one that has eluded me over the 2 years.

@@FinnLovesFood I think tomato is seasonal one to use Willington Tomatoes on mainland they then switched using Arreton from isle of wight.
Hi finn 👋😆
Woof! 🐶
Berwick- don't pronounce the 'w'. It's also the most Northern town in England just a few miles from the border with Scotland.
This Berwick (also pronounced "Berrick"), where the organic Longhorn beef comes from, is just north of Shrewsbury on the River Severn.
Thanks. Pronunciation is always a challenge! 🙂
Hi there i love your channel ,the rustle of the bags is a bit annoying i have to say
That's what packets of crisps normally do, can't really be avoided. Maybe these are just extra rustley.😁
You must eat crisps very quietly then Rachel 😊.
@@StevenT-je1iy Its not the crunching is the rustling of the packets even when youve tasted them you still continue to to rustle rustle why
@@Temeraire101 they dont do they for god sakes
