Life After Invisalign | How my teeth have shifted 18 Months Post-Refinements
Here's my teeth after refinements all got removed. It's been 18 months of since I got all finished up and this is the update of everything that has happened since.
First up was the fixed retainer. Undoubtably the biggest change. A strange feeling to get a wire glued to the back of my teeth, but we're all friends now.
My biggest ongoing concern is if I should buy a new set of retainers. They're a little loved. Worn down, small cracks and a hole. But currently still tiding me over. I hadn't factored in ongoing retainer costs to the lifetime expense of fixing my teeth. £100 each. Hopefully they last more than a year (they should do) but I'm a biter and I guess the extended use (12h shifts not just the 'asleep' time for the beginning) probably meant I wore down the first set longer than the future sets will. Anyways, something I'm keeping an eye on.
Beam Orthodontics in Dundee gets my commendations. Pretty sure Rhu has a black belt in invisalign. Or a diamond apex certificate. Whatever they call it. The team know what's what.
If I have one piece of advice (from my lived experience and scouring reddit for 3 years) PLEASE do choose your teeth-moving provider carefully and make sure you check their credentials. Experience goes a long way.
Leafy greens no longer haunt me. I'm just out here living my life. Eating what I want, when I want it. And never feeling the need to soft smile again.

Thrift Cozy Haul | Barbour Jackets & Ralph Lauren | Winter Thrifting Gold
มุมมอง 222หลายเดือนก่อน
After midnight online shopping with a 50% sale got me this time. Fortunately all of the items are a success and I'm keeping it all to be worn this winter. What started things off was the autumn realisation that I really needed a mid-warmth jacket. My rain coats weren't toasty enough, and my duvet jackets were too large for 0'C days. And so I started to look in the best place I know... The inter...

All of the books that I read last year... collated into a delightful spreadsheet and analysed to my heart's content! Here is the list of books that I read in 2023, a year of 'audio book shuffle' reads from the library. Low risk/high reward strategy that meant I read 35 books, quite a hearty number for me. Scoring all of the books 0 to 5 stars, and listing them in order for easy pickings for sha...

Invisalign Refinements Update (18 months later) | Cracked Tray, Stained Tooth, Gums & Bite

Surprise surprise... although it shouldn't have been such a surprise. I need refinements. Here's how the process of getting refinements went. My bite (my biggest concern going into this) continued to be rather terrible. The "it hurts in the roots of my teeth to chew on this side" kind of terrible. And despite my best efforts and continued optimism till the last 7 days... I messaged my ortho and...

Invisalign Progress Update (1 year later) | Stained Attachments, Gums, Gaps & Midline Issues

I've had invisalign for a year now! Here's how it's been going. My bite continued to not cooperate. I had a surprise painful tray. A beautiful sampling of Invisalign ASMR to be had. My IPR finally began to show results as the crowding is noticeably calmed down. One issue I'd like improved is the alignment of my top and bottom centre lines. I'm not sure if it's possibly. thanks for the update! it was lovely to see that the experience was overall worth it for you. i’m about a third of the way done with my trays (not taking into account refinements) and it’s certainly a struggle at times but i hope it will all turn out for the better. hope the retainer thing works out with less expenses than you fear!

This is misleading. The molecular weight of the antibody itself has no significance, since the antibody does not travel through the gel. The antibodies recognize the proteins of interest by their epitope and bind there. It is the proteins that travel through the SDS page gel, so it will be their molecular weights that determine the position of the bands.

On TH-cam, there is a great exaggeration in describing the pain to the point that others feel fear and anxiety. I tried Invisalign, and the process of installing the attachments and wearing the aligners for the first time did not involve much pain. Just a little pressure that the patient quickly gets used to.

Waz like us? and their ahh deed! Boring to listen to. You never mentioned anything about Dundee and the real people that have to stay there. You did not show any images/pictures of the Multicultural, all-inclusive overwhelming ethnic visa students from around the far, far-flung Bradford nations. You did not mention the Overwhelming Braw Dundonian accents that needed an interpreter when getting into a taxi. No Bridies or Pays (pies) or an oignion an anah. No cafe prices are included. St Andrews across the Tay is Surry and Richmond state, not Scottish. No mention of escapees from Govan sneaking into the place to be educated. Snow-Reol. Just an observation doll!

I love the idea with the ironing board and not taking them off the rod, but when she showed the back hemming, I just didn't like how that came out, even though it was nicely done in the front, the back looked terrible. My curtains need to be placed in an area where we constantly walk in and out, the hemming would come off after several movements and the back will show when you walk in. Imagine when you wash them in a dryer too.
