Looks good 👍 I'm goin in!
Howd you get it to be so quiet what silencers are you using on it things sick
may just be the camera behind me, bc that bow is not super quiet like it sounds in the vid
Should i buy one?
Depends on what your expectations are. If you are going to compare it to the latest greatest compound bow then NO!. This bow is heavier, louder, slower, less let off and longer than most. But if you want a bow thats been around in this same basic format since the 1980's and is still in business. Then YES, and when its time to replace the sting you can do that yourself pretty easy. They still look futuristic today and they were futuristic in 1980
In other word absolutely not
One can grind a tad of the plastic thingy if it is too big. To make it bit smaller. Give small gap.
I'm looking for a new arrow rest for my Oneida for hunting. I am currently using a wisker biscuit, and I am not happy. Any suggestions?
In case this happens to anyone do reach out to your insurance provider. My got covered 100 percent
Good Insurance -- Tried that with mine and they said NO it will not be covered
@@randomreviews7574 switch to travelers. Dealer quoted me 14 k and got it covered
those first 3 at 100 is the true accuracy of that rifle. Impressive. the rest of the shots is about what a hot barrel would do.
What mounted rails do u use on ur 30-30? Bc i got myself one of those and im going to get a scope for it but i need to know what rails do u use on yours.
5" Picatinny Rail. Just search Marlin 336 or Rossi R95 rails
Great review! Thanks a lot!
I was looking for new knobs, can't find any.
I put about a Quart of def in a tank that is full of diesel 50 gallons. Will it just require changing the filters.
Def stays together in Diesel and settles to the bottom. Not sure on just changing the filters
What arrow do you recommend for hunting
I have a question on the shell holders, I'm wanting to get this kit to reload 308, the die kit I'm wanting to get comes with 4 dies, and a shell holder that goes on the press, but I'm confused on the shell holder than goes on the priming mechanism that holds the case so the new primer can go in, I can't seem to figure out if that holder comes with the kit or if I have to find that separately because I didn't see that coming with the die kits.
For that set up they are 2 different and distinct parts. Watch at 5:52 seconds. You will need the priming tool shell holder for .308 and the ram shell holder which comes with your die kit but is different then the primer shell holder. Just search for Lee primer shell holder
@@randomreviews7574Alright thanks, this a different account I have, but one last question, I'm not sure if you know the answer to this one, but do you know if traditional 308 dies can reload Palma 308 cases that use small rifle primers?
@@kingdomofme3681 can not help on that one
Use a adjustable on the die body and a 9/16 on the nut on top
I like mine, the spring on the side of bolt pops out from time to time and it’s a full disassembly and reassembly almost to fix it haha.
Thank goodness no springs are popping out on this one yet.
IMO, throwing ball powder is easy. On the other hand, depending on the granule size and shape, some extruded powders are throwable to decent ES if proper technique is found and used consistently. Others are strictly throw light and trickle up material. The main variable in this that is not discussed is the effect of different measure operating methods. For extruded powders, this can make a lot of difference, and the old BS about it not mattering as long as you are consistent does not survive careful testing.
Looks nice...i wouldn't hunt with any arrow less than 450 gr.
Thank You! This one has had no issues going right through a deer at 35 yrds
I want one. What would be the price including shipping. I live in Maryland.
I had never thought about selling one. If I made another one it would be prob be more costly than would make sense for someone to buy. Takes a good deal of time fully build. There are quite a few commercial options for 100-200$ and I think for the amount of time it takes me I would be more than $275 plus shipping. I would have to evaluate it properly, material + time before i could really know the cost.
I like all wood. Do not like what is on the market. Please evaluate your price and let me know. Very interested. And want one of your builds. Plus your signature on it. Thanks again
What are the bench top dimensions
at the front part its 22" as it tappers back to where the handle is it's 16" and the length is 4ft
I did it, too. Caught my mistake and called mechanics shops to see what I should do. I got a $4200.00 estimate from my 'regular' mechanic shop. [NO MORE will I be trusting them across the board!] I could NOT believe what they were telling me: that it didn't matter I'd only put a little in, that the truck had not been running nor started after the error, that the DEF crystallizes whatever diesel is in the tank, that I'd have to replace the fuel pump, etc. etc. etc. I researched it myself and discovered it DID matter that there'd only been a little in the tank and I WEIGHED the one I'd used as well as a NEW untouched one: BOTH weighed 22.6 lbs. In short: they LIED to me. I contacted my go-to backyard mechanic who said NO worries, we will pump the tank dry and flush it. WHY do people try to RIP OFF their best clients?
Man, you brought back memories! I have one of those sights and had it on my first compound...a Darton! That was probably 40 years ago...I will have to dig it out, I know I should still have it. Might install it on my new longbow.
my first was on a darton too
Take off all that xtra stuff on string and limbs and you will get the advertised speeds. And the sound is not any different.
You hunting with 350gr?
Yes
@@randomreviews7574 Any issue? What broadhead?
@@randomreviews7574 How long did it take to settle in? My front end keeps coming loose.
I bought the Burris Veracity PH Gen 1, 4-20x50 riflescope for my new custom rifle but my custom action has 15 moa built into the two, (part of the action), picatinny mounts. Cannot use the Veracity PH scopes unless you have 0 moato mount.
Go to know that!
Thanks for the test!!
Any time!
where can i buy it? i want to zf69
Hawk ebay and maybe one pops up.
A lot of similarities to M1 carbine.
for sure
Very nice sheath. Good job
Thanks 👍
They are great slings . Good for anything with some additional hardware
Yes they are, my favorite
The g3 slings will have a clasp or a hook on one end . These would be for mauser
45-70?
30-30
@@randomreviews7574 nice
I use to use that same sight like u said late 90s. Wasn't bad sight
cool old sights
Have one bloody easy as to use..
yea pretty simple and fast
Yeah I need a right hand spiral on my arrows. Offset strong. Super spinny.
That's awesome! 😎
I've had one for over 20 years... I've been building and fletching arrows for 40+years. Meh. Nothing beats a simple magnetic single fletch jig. I've probably done 7 or 8 dozen with the arizona jig, if not more... Don't really care for it in the long run.
I prefer a Henry
Good for you
You are good man
TY -- I try my best :)
what is the diopter ratings?
Thank you for providing actual measurements. Can you measure the depth front to back while set at 45 with slide forward, minimized for storage setup? I have a small bench area (about 19" deep) I would like to sit this on for storage and move it to my assembly table for usage. I've checked lowes and HD and no one has them on display.
Good on you for sharing your mistake, awesome that the dealer mechanics did the job properly ie correcting the root cause then checking for damage. Way back when I was studying and had aspirations of being a mechanic my old school trade teacher taught us how the systems worked and how to diagnose issues. Now it seems the norm is to keep changing parts until it works.
Great review....the raised ridge you mention is because the stock design is the same as the Magnum Pro that I have...it's a thumb up position....you'll see the two indentations for left or right handed shooters at the point where the action finishes. I though the same, but in the correct position that ridge doesn't hit the hand.
Seems they are both effective at those ranges and could be tuned with different bolts to tighten grouping. At those distances, practice, practice, practice or you may not find that deer.😃. Decent video
agree on practice -- that was just for fun, i would never shot at those distances in a hunting application unless i had practiced more and got consistent groups
Try pulling a camper at over 75 mph. Even with a 3/4 ton truck. Hit 80 mph tell me how that works for ya.
ok, i give it a shot. :)
I just assembled this very grill today. (Purchased from A's Hardware.) Thanks for the video. I will keep an eye on those handles and be on the lookout for a closet rod.
Hope you enjoy it!
Can it be zeroed if you’re using a different grain weight and rifle? I’m mounting it on a C3 Sniper rifle (Parker Hale M82) because that’s the scope the Canadian Army originally mounted on the C3. I plan to shoot 168gr .308 win. I don’t know what gr the Austrians used
i am sure it can but finding the owners manual for this scope has proved very elusive for me. I was lucky and the socpe was set to the rifle when i got it.
So how do you zero the scope if the elevation is in meters ?
I dont mind the shorter tube at all,,,, but how is the open sights ?? Is the front sight a brass bead or just a black post
Good video! Short and full of good info....
Thank you
I'm going to say.... that's not a rifle or ammo spread. It's something else happening there.
