well I did my mako 261, with Seacast 8 years ago, but not much use, installed a twin engine bracket, and now have heavy Verados and no cracks. Bet yours is not Seacast brand? so far so good on mine. now im doing a gas tank and spraying new gel coat whole boat starting tomorrow.
Just done arjay 6011 on my center console transom and seems to be rock solid. Wonder if yours had voids? Air pockets?
not sure on voids i just thin it was done sloppy. When you tap around the transom with a mallet it does not sound like any voids
The Seacast wasn't mixed properly. It's a pain to do, so it's not hard to imagine that someone lost patience and said, "That's good enough."
Its coming out and new transom, will post it once its done
