I really wanted to like it but the thickness was a dealbreaker for me. I prefer to keep my desk free of wrist rests or similar extras. I feel like ergonomic benefits of mechanical keys are offset by the uncomfortable typing position it creates for my hands.

A lot of this mic are defective. A bunch of them die after some time and a lot others (via USB) keep disconnecting. Have you ever had this problem? This mic is really good, but it has become a nightmare for a lot of people. Really sad!

Needed a keyboard to go with my Lenovo M11, and after testing (more taking one look at and going nope in one case) the Trust Lyra, and the Logitech Pebble, and this one won out. Going to be fun to see what this thing can do over the next two and a half days while I dont have access to my desktop.

Love Rode but they never have sales on their products. $199.99 is a bit much for that mic.

does yours go to auto sleep after not using it for a while? Mine never does, even if I am away for say an hour or so. It just stays connected all the time and doesn't need to wake up if you know what I mean.

Yikes that wobble tho…I was gonna get one of these and add a piano tray for a midi controller keyboard, but yeah looks like that ain’t happening. Sigh. I can not find a decent desk that has what I want for a reasonable price.

I've watched too many setup videos to count in the last 48 hours and I can't tell you how happy I am you gave us the measurements of your desk. You would think that was an obvious detail but you'd be surprised how many creators forget to give dimensions. Then I have to resort to telepathy to determine if it would be a good fit for my desk. Also, your voice and editing style is very calming. I've been staring at my screen for wayy too long trying to make a decision. It's nice to have a relaxing change of pace. Beware that the quality is a bit lacking for the price..... Desk cockpit is made from plywood and mine had large gaps in the edges (lower quality plywood). No account option on the website so no way to leave a review after their e-mail token expires for reviews after just a few days. And the magsafe holder design is also severly lacking with a base that is too short to get the angle you might need, no option to use it on the ends of the cockpit and it's also too low to swivel your phone at a decent angle when placed horizontally. A company that mainly uses influencer marketing instead of focussing on design and better quality....

How deep are the two supporting black pieces of wood underneath? I understand the whole thing is 23cm deep but it seems like they are inset slightly. Just trying to figure out if i could fit this on my desk

Hey, I checked their products out but with all due respect, in my opinion they offer the most impractical, and overpriced products I’ve ever seen. $149 AUD for a laptop dock that isn’t actually a dock? It’s a stand. I honestly don’t understand because there are far better looking, more practical, and minimalist products on the market.

Hey alex, do you know if this brand ever restocks/how 'exclusive' their graphics are? i think the flaming skull graphic is really cool but looking at their site atm it isnt even showing. this is one of the few brands ive found so far that seems to actually have cool looking graphics and its such a shame so many are just straight up unavailable :(

I advise against purchasing the setup cockpit from Balolo. My experience began with an order placed on December 29, 2023, under the impression of a 7-10 day delivery window as advertised on their site. However, post-purchase, the timeline extended first to two weeks, then another, and currently, my order is stalled in customs for the past five days. The customer support has been significantly lacking, offering minimal assistance with the customs issues I've been forced to navigate on my own. Their only compensation was a modest $20 discount and a 15% reduction on future purchases, neither of which remedies the situation satisfactorily. Consequently, I've decided not to patronize this business in the future. Following my posting of a negative review to warn potential customers about this company, they have since blocked me from their Facebook page. This action further demonstrates their lack of interest in assisting me with my order still detained by customs. Moreover, their practice of censoring unfavorable comments while only showcasing positive feedback raises serious concerns about their transparency and business ethics. This behavior is indicative of a company more concerned with appearances than customer satisfaction or resolving issues.

I believe the “Noise Gate” is how much and quickly the mic cancels out the noise when you’re not talking into it. It won’t remove the background noise when you’re talking. 👍🏻

Hello, a question would the rode pocmid USB work with a USB C to 3.5 jack cable? I have a camera that accepts a 3.5 Jack input and I would like to connect the microphone directly to the camera. Thank you very much for your attention.

Wish Rode made the same windscreen, but a lighter color/gray and sell it for 35.00 for us Podmic users. I still plan on buying this new mic though.
