22:20 I don't know man, I'm still only 3/4ths of the way through CS3 but I'm still pretty confident the Hayworths sold Renne on purpose. They really want me to believe that they just happened to drop off their child at some random people's house, it burns down killing everyone except her, then she randomly gets shipped off to Paradise, which then ALSO burns down killing everyone except her again, AND THEN out of sheer dumb luck the mastermind behind the cult (and everything else) just so happens to help them wipe away their debt? Not buying it. Methinks that fire was almost certainly the one started by Joshua and Loewe at Paradise which means that's where the Hayworths dropped her off in exchange for a "reference" to a certain top-grade lawyer with connections to the cult, mafia and IBC to make their money problems disappear. They sold their child. Now they may have intended to come back for her once they could afford to buy her back, but I doubt it. Unless of course their innocence is confirmed in a post-CS3 game by a source that isn't the actual people suspected of the crime, in which case I'll come back and eat my words when I get to that point.

I honestly stuck with the Biting Edge the whole way because I have a favorable bias towards dual wielding and it was the one weapon that just completely fitted my taste as I wanted fast damage output like in MH. Dual wielding in any game is a dopamine fest for me anyway.

I wanted to put this in a separate comment because I feel it should have a different tone, but there is one name I didn't mention in the other comment: Masayuki Kato, mentioned as the producer here. If you didn't know, he's the founder of Falcom and was up until very recently the company chairman and producer for all Pre-CS1 Trails games and general producer for all post-CS1 games. I was going to say more about him, but I found out he sadly passed away on Sunday. He was a divisive figure, and I’ll say why at another time, but for now we’ll just remember this man as the one who gave us Nihon Falcom. All from a computer shop in 1981 and a desire to cater to neglected PC users in an increasingly console-dominated gaming world. His passion led him to being a chairman right until the very end. Rest in peace.

Alright! Finished Ys 6 in 6 parts! How appropriate! 3:36:17 This was the boss whose name I think you should note down: It’s called “Galba-Roa: The original Galbalan” That name is important for Oath. (Also you beat it MUCH more easily than I did.) A lot of people say the final boss is disappointing, and I can kinda see it. You only know the Ark itself is the main boss in the last few moments. Up to that point, you think it’ll be Ernst. Instead, the final boss is just… aa computer doing what it was programmed to do. It’s also very easy if you grind enough to be able to beat the previous bosses (it’s MUCH easier than Ernst) and the track “The Depth Napishtim” is definitely the most lowkey final boss theme. Even the infamous Ys 5 had a rocking final boss theme (“Wicked Pleasure”). Want to give some appreciation to some members of the team in the credits. I won't mention Kondo because we all know about him, but for the Falcom and XSeed members who get less credit: 4:12:23 *Hisayoshi Takeiri:* You’ll notice he’s the head scenario writer for this game. In fact, he’s been the head scenario writer of every Trails game I’ve played so far. When people talk about Falcom members, they talk about Kondo, Kato and the JDK composers (I imagine you’ll start hearing people talk about the name Singa now that you’ve reached CS3. Unisuga too) but Takeiri has been writing Trails from the very beginning. I heard he even almost single-handedly did the writing for Daybreak. 4:12:30 *Wataru Ishibahi:* He was a well-loved composer whose most famous track is probably “The Merciless Savior” - the final boss theme of Sky SC against Angelic Weissmann. He left Falcom in 2006 and sadly passed away in 2014. *Hayato Sonoda:* One of the few JDK members from around this period still working at Falcom. He has the nickname “Soulnoda” because he makes really good soul-like music. 4:12:46 *Yukihiro Jindo:* A composer who’s not an official member of Falcom but is still being contracted by them to this day. He’s been contracted by Falcom for over 20 years! Might as well just work for them at this point lol! 4:13:00 *Takayuki Kusano:* He’s been the director for all Trails games since Kondo stepped down from the director role and became the producer for the rest of the series. I didn’t realise he’d had past experience directing in Ys 6. I guess he took a break from directing then stepped right back into it when Kondo stepped down. XSeed: 4:13:16 *Sara Leen:* Localisation programmer (as it says here) who still works at XSeed today and is active on Steam forums. If you look through the Steam Discussions of Ys 6, you can find her comments. (She’s on the thread named “Unhealable Poison (Glitch)” for example) under the name “Saralene” She also created some pinned threads for Xanadu Next. As well as localisation programming, she’d had involvement with the Steam achievements I think. 4:13:40 *Thomas Lipschultz:* Localisation specialist who left XSeed a while ago. He has a TH-cam channel called "Wyrdwad" (which he’s been uploading videos on since 2008!). He’s a proud supporter of accuracy in authenticity in localisation and has publicly spoken out against censorship many times (POLITELY, I want to emphasise. He doesn’t attack people like certain others do). This is what annoys me when people lump all localisers into one boat and say they should all be replaced by AI. They do realise not all localisers support censorship, right? In fact, most don’t. Why would they? They’re people who’ve made the insane effort to learn Japanese and go into a job devoted to that knowledge. Don’t lump in every single localiser with the few AAA examples that get all the attention while the majority of faithful localisers get ignored. (It’s not even whole companies, it’s usually just the higher-ups and head editors). 4:14:04 *Brittany Avery:* Production co-ordinator for XSeed. Yep, you guessed it, she worked on Trails. Sean Chiplock (Rean’s English VA) even said “She knows more about Trails than anyone else.” Possibly even more than Kondo. She created a massive bible of Trails terms and events for the rest of the team to make sure their localisations were consistent and every term was correct. She also provided consistent public logs of their progress while they were getting through their massive games (especially Sky SC. Idk if you’ve heard the story of the localisation for that game, but it’s a horror story. Thankfully, everyone’s okay now.) She also uses the name Leona Renee and Hatsuu in her social media. *Jessica Chavez:* One name that’s not mentioned here. She was an editor and localisation manager at XSeed, but I guess she wasn’t with them at this time, but for the Sky trilogy, she did the most work of any localisation member. Fixing the mistakes made by Carpe Fulgur, working the most insane hours every single day (can’t find the exact hours, but I think it as something like 15-19 a day!) And most importantly… inventor of the chest messages! I don’t know if EVERY message in Sky was made by her, but it’s clearly her greatest legacy. She even said that the ONLY significant thing she changed in the 5 games was one conversation between Estelle, Kloe and Jill where they ask if they can use each other’s first names without honorifics. She changed that to asking if they were friends because that made more sense in English. That’s it. Praise to the chest messager! *Ken Berry:* Of course, the exectutive vice president who’s done interviews with Tom and Brittany. Don’t know too much about him admittedly, but despite his Vice President status, his public visibility is kinda like Kondo’s. Okay, that’s all my shoutouts to the credits! The last thing I’ll say is: 4:15:05 That’s mean, Adol! This probably wasn’t their intention, but the fact that Olha and Isha are so upset in one pic then Adol happy and waving in the next makes it look like he’s mocking them for being upset at him leaving. Like, “Haha, see you never, losers!” With that, hope you enjoyed this game about elves and weather!

By the way Weapons, did you recognize the new clerk behind the reception at the department store where Pearl (Bracer Scott's fiancee) used to be? It's an old acquaintance from the first two Cold Steel games.

The era of GLORIOUS 3D has arrived! Honestly I really like Juna because as much of a fangirl as she is, her takes are honestly stuff I silently felt during my run of CS1 and 2. Alisa is aware of how bad the railway guns are but we were missing a POV of someone from Crossbell in the party and I think Juna fills that role pretty well to avoid being dismissive of Crossbell's situation, also I think it's kind of noticeable that whenever we go to a new area the party are wowed 90% of the time but here when Juna gives her more anxious spiel on Crossbell Kurt and Tilly here are like "well you see Heimdallr is still more populated you know and there's tech in other places like Roer too."

I feel sorry for Weapons. 😂 The "Thousand Oathbreaker" is a name to be feared for sure. Those who know, know. 😏

And the game is over. You completely butchered every single dash jump but at least you did all the grinding. Max swords are good to have. I want to finish this game but I might actually waot for a Remaster. That way, I can play it on my switch. In bed. In my pyjamas. The weekend is over again and I have to work tomorrow and am still kinda hungry. The buns I bought earlier were still warm. Fresh bread is the best. And I am sorry I could not watch the stream. I just really can't stay up all night. I hope you play more Ys games soon. I am sure you would love Ys 8. Except the weird lock on feature that messes with your camera angle. But Celceta has a fun dungeon item in a certain area. I loved using that item so much. It was the best part of the game. That and the funny smithing mechanic. I put freeze and absorb on all of my wepaons. It was so much fun. I loved it so much. And the YS 6 ending panels were really nice. The PS 2 ending was cursed. Very cursed. 3D Olha is terrifying. They should have never been made 3D to begin with. But 3D Olha is not real and can not hurt me. She is 2D and that is all that matters.

Aside from Sharon's backstory, now Weapons knows why I ship Alisa and Rean so hard. Completely ignoring that she ticks off all my personal boxes, (what can I say? I like women with blonde hair.) You get to have a maid with Ouroboros-approved strength to do whatever you need. And who wouldn't want that? Oh and regarding Elie's father, he's from Calvard so after he and Elie's mother divorced he went back to the Republic while her mother returned to the Empire which is where the MacDowell family is originally from. It's never stated how long ago or why Mayor Henry or his ancestors moved to Crossbell but other than him and Elie, most MacDowells are in Erebonia.

So many barriers...the game is doing it intentionally I swear.

Intersting fact: Tio cannonically doesn't have S-craft because Empire cofiscated all SSS Weapons they could find(And her S-craft is giant cannon). She has only her staff because it's tecnically just a tool. As I remember Randy dosn't have Berserker for the same reason.

About your twist villain comment, we actually only have gotten twist villain professors so far. Weissman, his cousin, Novartis. Schmidt doesn't count because he ist just an ass to everyone. This new chracter is a professor though. But he doesn't wear glasses. And yes, Lloyd adopted KeA. He is the ultimate best dad now. I need to play this game. If you'll excuse me, I need to go finish my farming RPG real quick so I can play YS X and then Cold Steel 3. Btw, a few names you heard in this video apparently appear later in the series.
