Early game: Axe (stone axe no armor or like a few pieces of iron armor) Mid game: Axe and Sword (UHC Kit or just some diamond and some iron stuff with bad enchants) Late game: Sword and Axe (SMP Kit)

Swords are better but axes are better in more shield pvp gamemodes and for more damage.

I prefer swords. But in normal survival Minecraft, I am a little weird cause I don't want to waste the durability of my sword and end up using stuff like golden hoes or wooden shovels as weapons. XD

I think the player thing is honestly just skill it’s clear you’re just better than some of these people. I don’t necessarily like axe more than sword or vice verca but it depends on how you look at it. Spamming sword does little damage in modern pvp and spammers rely on combos to win while axe pvpers rely on longer attacks to focus more damage, however making them more vulnerable to getting combos. I think you should play both sides of the story.

I don't think, that it is convincing, because you winning can be down to skill difference. Additional it was just sword, and I often see PvP being done with shields, bows, etc, so even if there was no skill difference there, it would prove, that it is better to fight with sword alone.

i know swords are better but i just prefer the axe just because of high damage hits but i do mainly play survival
