Definitely Cliff Williams on Bass and who joined the band during summer of 1977. That said I've read somewhere that Cliff had problems getting over to Australia due to Visa Entry problems and which caused some issues during the recording of 'Powerage' in early 1978. So with all that in mind, how was this filmed in Sydney in July 1977 ??

My first real concert was this show. My friend and I had to get a ride from my brother’s gf to the show. 😂. I was already an iron maiden fan. The live experience was truly amazing. These guys were on fire in 85. Thank you for posting and bringing back some great memories.

Brian did some great recordings (albums) with the band, but live it always sounded like his larynx was getting ready to fall out. Bon was the man.

Eddie Van Halen said that AC/DC were the "most powerful Live band' he ever saw. They were at their peak, here.

And ANGUS is still out there doing the same thing. Just a lil more wrinkly. 🫶It’s truly a beautiful sight to behold. He loves us and he’s always loved what he does. It shows every show. He band loves giving us a good show and having a good time themselves. Crazy when the grandpas are rocking harder than the whole young generation 😆

Not that I'm an expert, but even from an "audio engineering" stand point, this sounds really great. My browser plugin EQ's default settings usually improve any YT live audio, but in this case it just made everything sound worse. Gotta make a CD/cassette of this to be played on my main equipment.

Do you realize what you're seeing here? All thru the beginning of the song, "Sin City," you see at least 2 shorts/tank top wearing roadies trying to fix Phil's monitor(?) That must've been a nightmare with the stage volume and stage darkness, but yet they kept trying. Nowadays, you'd have a sound man from the house board with a laptop talking to the stage monitor mixer with a laptop via ear pieces. THey'd fix the problem digitally in seconds as opposed to having to climb the stage and risk a lifetime of deafness to try and figure it out.....I sure miss the old days.....
