This was before anybody knew who AC/DC was in the U.S., and those who did know about them thought they were a punk rock bad. B'Ginnings was a hole in the wall bar inside The Woodfield Mall in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg. Lots of famous bands got their start at B'Ginnings. Sadly I was only 13 at the time, so I couldn't get in, even if I had wanted to. Who could of predicted how prolific AC/DC would become? Definitely a classic concert, and definitely history in the making. Thanks for posting and sharing.

We knew about them in Boston and we knew clearly that they weren't a punk band.

@@MrJohnnyDistortion Well, they're punk in attitude, and in spirit, very much like Motorhead, but, unless you're going by the three chord philosophy of punk, no, musically, they aren't.

That's like insinuating that Stevie Rat Vaughn was like Toni Iommi because they both used pentatonics.

@@MrJohnnyDistortion No, I'm insinuating that Stevie Ray Vaughn was like Tony Iommi because they both played the blues.....🤣

Wow this is a wild show, still love it! Bon sounds crazy drunk! And there are some issues with guitar tuning, but it still rocks ❤️ Pure rock n roll on a night any other of the tour. Quite authentic

To me Bon sounds a little raspy but you gotta think about doing as many shows as they were those days ! high notes get tough !

Bon generally always held it together pretty well, but I've never heard him make such a hash of the lyrics as he does in Rock 'n' Roll Damnation!! He's pretty wasted!
