Amrep on 300s Hopper Footage
This particular week it wasnt too heavy so the amrep was able to keep up a little better than usual. When it is heavier and the cans are more full the amreps really don’t work well with the 300s. Seen here is about half of a full load before the truck starts to struggle to clear the hopper.

Went out to look at what commercial trucks I could find in my area and had my hopes of finding this exact truck and surprisingly actually found it. This is definitely one of my favorite trucks from Waste Management. I remember seeing it collect at my middle school a while back when it had previously worked around the area and I must say I'm glad its back.

My long time trash driver left my route a few years ago, but around the start of this year he was back on it except now he is collecting my recycle. I was able to film him few weeks ago but unfortunately he wasn't operating as fast as Ive seen in the past. 1:06:12 I have never seen such a bad pressing process. The waste that remains on top of the pusher is simply not pushed down well. This allows the garbage to hold its own in the air. not a very good engineering achievement.
1:07:42 And the driver has to wait too long to empty his next garbage can. In other words, it's not planned economically at all. The waste should fall down in a funnel, but everything has been installed too high. Hopefully the inventor of this device will do something different today.
