One of my glass domes broke this week 😭. The iron vase next to it, had been dropped against it by one of the cats. So now there is only one left. My balls will stay put away this year. But luckily , so far the cats don't find the Christmas tree interesting.

Its called the magic of christmas. We made it then under our magazine name enjoy brocante. But maybe you can also find it under our own names jeroen and colinda borst. It is sold out , we had it privately printed in an edition of 1000 copies. But maybe you can also find a 2nd hand copy somewhere.

Thank you, they are special to me. I always think it's important for a home to be personal, with things that mean something to you. Things that remind you of someone, or that were given to you. Or something you made yourself. There are so many soulless things for sale in stores, produced by the millions. Such a shame because you can find many more special items as well.

He wanted the pine cones so much. But no it's not a chew toy. I have a few glass ornaments = the birds that you saw in this video. A mini teapot, a christmas three, a car, nuts, bells and I think maybe some other things 😅

Thanks Ana, I have a few things in my home that are original from people who passed away that I knea. The glass domes from my stephfather, Some chairs also from Katrien, an old maria statue from my grandmother. Such a blessing to have.

Yes, we have a lot of the walls here in our village. I think because we live near a river. And with that clay the made these stones.

Bonsoir Deborah, ici, dans notre village, on voit beaucoup de murs de ce type. Ce sont des tuilles plates. Je pense que c'est parce que nous vivons au bord de la rivière et que c'est de l'argile de la rivière. Il y avait autrefois des usines de tuiles ici. Ici et là, on peut trouver des briques normales plus grandes dans nos murs. Il était donc déjà comme ça quand nous l'avons acheté. Et si nous enlevons le crépi du mur extérieur, il apparaîtra également. 😀

We didn't always have much in the house for Christmas either. This year I think almost most of it though. Where in Europe do you want to move to? And soon or not for a few years

Hi Colinda, I plan to travel first and because I don't think I could decide on an area without getting a feeling for it. I want to look at France, Italy, Portugal first, but I haven't ruled out anywhere as this is where I plan to retire and stay for good. Definitely remote, rural and rustic with enough space for a vegetable garden and some chickens ideally. I will know when I find it.❤️

That's always a smart idea to travel first. We used to go to France that's why we ended up here. But italy and Portugal are beautiful too so if we had traveled first we might have ended up there too. Italy we did go but without the kids.

Thanks, Thank you we are indeed of the simple Christmas decorations ourselves. Normally a lot of old ornaments in the tree. But with the kitten it was too risky. So a few in some safer places. For you also very nice holidays and a happy New Year. The book is'nt for sale anymore. It's sold out. But maybe I gonna printed it again on amazon one day so that I don't have a massive stock.

You don't like what we do, don't actually like our videos. Yet you take the trouble to post a comment.... So you are actually just one of our biggest fans. Because why else waste your very precious time in your life on nonsensical hate comments. And besides, I've always learned that if I can't say anything nice I better keep my mouth shut. That makes the world a lot nicer than spreading hate. Perhaps you have a tremendously boring life yourself, that you find it necessary to tear down someone else's life. Maybe you should look in the mirror and think how can I make my life less boring and especially how can I become kinder.
