I think I love you because you are so human, you fall and raise anytime and plus you are strong willing and full of courage. Good luck, keep on going, you’re doing really well ❤
You certainly have make tremendous progress in your time there. You have a wonderful home, devote good time to your children and teach them to help out, and are creating such a wonderful space. It's a pleasure following your journey!
You're doing a great job, well done, plastering, parenting, gardening, learning french language and adapting to a new country and culture.take care, love from Greece
Colinda did you. Ever hear the expression A picture is worth a thousand words? How much more a video👌👌👏👏You are so good working together it looks so hard. You have come such a long way learning new skills as well as French. I find the more I learn the more I realise how much I really don’t know🤣🤣 Bon courage comme toujours❤
A new skill will help with the progress of your property and when you start new projects you are ready to go and any woman can do this work as much as any man :) good work out as well for exercise. I wish I could try things like this but well past my physical prime to do so. Nothing wrong with a good browse and a day off of working on your home. Enjoy your summer while it's here :) I am glad your family is making an effort to learn the local language will make living there much easier and more work available for you both and kids will do well in school.
Thanks, we had a good summer but since september its already a lot colder again than usual. I like to help with building so always glad to learn new skills from my husband.
oh, I see how you suffer when you plaster the wall, I’m a professional plasterer, you need to make the solution not as thick as yours and apply it with a ladle to the wall then level it... the house is very nice, well done for buying it
Thank you for your response. It is lime plaster, which is normally thicker than ordinary plaster, right? In our previous house we used a lot of normal plaster and that was much easier to apply. It's now going already a lot easier than in the video, practice makes perfect. Although it doesn't go as fast as an professional 😅
Bonjour, when I watch your video specially when you drive I really miss the countryside of South west but I will in the South by the end of October (back home for holidays). I know French is a very difficult language to learn but by watching French tv and French programs could be good and fast help . I've learned a lot in English with TV and staying in UK as well. I would like to know why you cover the wall with "la chaux" , rather than living the exposed bricks as we do in south west. 💯💯💯👍 I hope very soon to write the comments in French and you will answer in French too. I hope going back to school for the children has been ok.👪👪👪📓💼📚📚
Thanks Deborah for your lovely commenf as always. 😘 We watch a lot of the things in french on television and always drive with the french radio on. I love the language it sounds so romantic. Dutch is'nt a friendly language it sounds a little bit unfriendly sometimes some of the words. 😅 Writing is a little bit more complicated at the moment. But i WhatsApp in french with some people here. Et la rentrée s'est bien passée. 😘
Ah, the kitty sleeping. That is so cute. We need a Frisbee for the puppy!!! Plastering definitely does not look easy. Both of you must have sore arms at the end of the day. I was getting exhausted just watching. I'm glad you had a chance to get away to the "Empty Your Attic". Were those birds nests in the wall that I saw? Good luck on learning the French language. I've just purchased a Babble subscription to learn French and Italian as we are moving to Spain in three years and I can already speak Spanish. If I can tackle French and Italian, I hope to then learn Portuguese. Who knows? Maybe I'll learn Dutch as well!!! The one thing I won't learn is plastering. It looks far to frustrating and difficult. But your progress is wonderful and you'll be so happy when it's complete.
when he sleeps he is very sweet, but awake not always. You saw correctly it was indeed a swallow's nest on the beams. Super cool that you are moving to Spain, where somewhere in Spain do you want to go? But a language bug then if you are going to learn French and Italian too. Dutch is also an option, only relatively few people speak my language hihi....
@@petitrevefrance We plan to move to Sevilla. We fell in love with that area. I'm hoping to learn as many languages as I can before we move to Europe. I know what you mean about your kitty. I have two and they're angels when sleeping, and little devils when awake.
Congratulations! You already have a beautiful home, not just a house.
Thanks 😄

Goed bezig! Dat stuccen is echt niet makkelijk! Was hier ook een uitdaging. Het wordt steeds mooier! Benieuwd hoe het verder gaat!

Haha dankjewel Ingrid. Het begin was lastig maar nu gaat het al stukken beter dan in deze video.

@@petitrevefrance You would love it. The food is delicious, the people are friendly, and the cathedrals are amazing.
