Hey is this the same on the new 2024 Jetta? I can’t find anything on how to do it on the new models

Fell apart when I used this Chinese Amazon tester. Turned key and came apart at barbed tee from gauge and crimped hose. Very disappointing.

Best video I have seen for this procedure. One sensor is enough because it is difficult to only buy half a set of brake pads (for only 1 wheel)

Like the man said, wait for the thermostat to open and watch for any white smoke from exhaust system too, if you can. Coolant can get into the combustion chamber and be burned off thus the white smoke.

You are missing a rubber piece on your clutch cabel adjuster. Also the play must be 15mm on the pedal, not where you adjusted it.

Sounds good...im still in the process of a post rebuild tweaking of my dual dcnf 40's...same occasional popping from the throats...love to see the final adjusting...and I really like that 131...reminds me of my childhood, neighbor had a silver 4-door Brava..good seeing.

Great find! Like you said, you don't see these in the U.S. anymore. I've had two of them. A '71 and a '74, which I turned into a European Rally clone and own currently. I got a 1500 from a Strada and stroked it to a 1600.

My biggest problem is with the glue gun. It puts out a bit of glue and then stops like it's getting gunked up, and then there isn't enough to apply to the tab effectively. I haven't figured out what I'm doing wrong so far.

Wow, I’m so glad I found this video. I’ve been having the same issue on my Corrado SLC since my VR6 was REBUILT after I drive the car and get up to normal operating temperature then turn the car off, the fans never go on. Do you think it’s a bad thermal fan switch? Also, they say that if you don’t have a low temperature thermostat and just put a low temp thermal fan switch in that your car will not run cooler and it will also waste more gas and cause your car to stall. Is this true?

I used a 1/4 chisel to tap the bolts out. As soon as the torque was broke, it was easy turning them the rest of the way out. This video has been so helpful; thank you. Edit: My 2008 VW Jetta started! God bless you for posting this video.

The larger o ring can be soaked in gasoline for a few seconds. This lubricants the o ring so it can be slide over the injector into place.

A fuel injector tool is still made for pulling out injectors you can buy, making this job easy. Or if you see a picture of the tool online, one can easily be made with a piece of sheet metal. These o rings tend to get hard and need replacing every few years, so a must to have this tool in your tool box.
