Lowering the Fiat 128 - Part 1 - Rear Suspension

  • How to lower the rear suspension of a Fiat 128 using spacers. This is an effective and inexpensive way to lower the rear of your 128.
    I used 2.5" wheel stud spacer meant for a Yamaha Blaster. They match the 10mm x 1.25 bolts that protrude from the Fiat's control arms so you can used the spacers to lower your Fiat using all the stock hardware.

    Thank you so much for the fresh Fiat content. My buddy and I grew up with Fiats. He has a 128 in particular and we loved them.

    Nice work man, I think the proportioning lever needs to go back where it was. Fiatnutz channel did a similar mod and they replaced it and added a washer to the front stud to space the extensions equally.

    They also simply cut the front coil springs by 2 1/2 coils I think. I just towed home the 128 Familiare/Panorama!
