My reaction when I first saw the news from Shenmue Dojo via Twitter/X: 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Shenmue 3 needs to be a fixer upper as a promo for a 4 and character art on the main characters looks wrong and has a mistep thrown in as you meet landi with fake comedy martial arts fighters in the room that you fight through as a comic relief at the wrong time.

Do you think the Unnamed player will be revealed to be someone we know in Dynasty world?

It was good. But mannnn it was hard tryna keep the officers alive….. only to be obliterated by Lu Bu 😢

Yeah, Lu Bu kicked my ass a few times but after I understood how to defeat him it got easier

its definitely a good game, but its a different product, its not like the numbered dynasty warriors, it has not the same focus, and yeah i join u all guys, dw 9 is extremely bad, only some interesting graphics but not much to save from it, i tried the demo and i learned how to play after fighting Lubu, i still believe my best exp in a warriors game was in the 4th, but this one is really good, and ofc, the best warriors game is terms of combat mech, i was afraid the kill mech from 9 was implemented here too, but fortunately not, but yeah its a different product, its a warriors game that wants to be an adventure game, closer to games like stellar blade or even dmc. I honestly dont know what to do, i love my females, Sun Shang Xian, Quiao Twins, Zheng ji, and as a big fan of katanas, Zhou Tai, im also a big fan of Wu, so i love most of the characters there, but Origins brings something different, not bad at all, but its another product, but also, its still a nice experience, i was also willing to play more and more to the point that i finished the demo a lot of times in 2 days just testing things, its definitely an experience i hadnt had in a long time with Dynasty Warriors, after 4, the 8xlce and empires in ps4 were the ones i enjoyed the most, Origins is definitely a third case in the list.

Lubu has always been a beast although for some games he wasn’t much challenge so I can understand that . But truly hope this is worth my time

not that it would improve sales but MISSED opportunity from Capcom to not do crossovers with this game eg have us team up with the actual Amaterasu to take down Okami villians Have us team up with characters from Sengoku Basara Have us fight unique bosses like Bishumon from Darkstalkers or Soki from Onimusha Capcom in a sense squandered the potential of this game.

I hated the demo. Even normal mode was too difficult. I hated the camera and I kept losing even though I killed generals. I uninstalled it because I was too frustrated.

No CC and no multiplayer..I'll wait.

There 100% needs to be a freemode that allows you to play as the original characters, other than that, I'm really hyped for this game.

Dynasty warriors lives!!

I just downloaded the demo and I love it. It's hard to keep allies alive because they push forward so fast, and it's a big change for the leader to actually move around the battlefield aswell. The battles will definitely be a bit more strategic than they used to be, one other thing I enjoyed was watching the battle over after failing to see how the allies moved and where they got destroyed by enemies.

I tried to play the demo on my base ps5 non slim disk version and it caused my screen to go black no signal I have to reset everything I still have all my data please omega force fix it

Huge DW fan but this demo feels too much like Warriors+Dark Souls. Koei has forgotten that the fan base wants, casual, relaxing, and easy to slaughter enemies.

Completely badass entrance and fight with [you know who]. I am so damn excited for this game.

So what the name of the dam game 😂 cause this vid is doing a good job of promoting it with out even mentioning it that should have been the 1st thing this vid should have done.

You are being so generous saying Shenmue 3 was "OK", it was just awful, goddamn awful, as someone who really loves 1 & 2 and was a backer on kickstarter for 3, it was such a letdown. I would love to be wrong, but I completely lost hope on Yu Suzuki delivering the goods again, Shenmue 3 was neither a good modern game nor a clunky retro inspired technical one (like Crow Country or some boomer shooters who target a specific era), if the game was made under the constraints of early 2000s games (way cheaper than chasing modern gfx) but with actually story progression on it, the game would be like 1000x better and the fans would definitely accept the old school feel and graphics.

Really hope we can get different costumes and looks.

The combat system and customization is good

I can't see myself buying this unfortunately. the bosses are op and very good but I can't help but think it would actually benefit more from a co-op system the bosses are just that strong enough to take on two different people at the same time

I really wish that you could create a character in this. Seems like it would be perfect for it

Square-enix was the king when they were Squaresoft but i would say in this day and age it would be Falcom for me purely for the trails series though Atlus is a close second.

Not gone lie imma have to pass on this one, I’m actually disappointed cause it’s better than 9 but what DW game isn’t, but it’s been what over 20 years and this game is basically the same game everytime it comes out with a slight twist on how they tell the story. No real challenge other than raising the difficulty making the ai sponges, instead of real strategy determining how you play, I can’t see the full game adding anything else that wasn’t experienced in the demo hope I’m wrong cause I’m a huge DW fan but koei is starting to lose me.

Don't worry, the very first mission you do the game does a really good job of showing/teaching you everything you need to know, so hopefully newer people wont be to overwhelmed. Game looks really good, demo played really well, defo looking forward to playing!

Fun fact in duels if you can't fill the bar, the duel ends with the enemy captain having less health to deal with. I filled it like 90% and he was missing more than half his health. Lu Bu took me 4 tries. How many did yall take? 4th try I used the whole map. Getting new soldiers from my conquered camps and healing from them too. That felt SO good using all available assets

As soon as Lu Bu appeared I turned and ran away because DO NOT PURSUE LU BU.

Lu Bu basically got a Souls game upgrade. Elden Ring lu bu.

My first Dynasty Warriors. Well, kinda. I played Samurai Warriors, and I loved it. Because the internet told me not to buy DW9, I waited for a new one. The day is finally here. My first DW, and I love it. Not to mention the pre-order bonus. I love Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. 😭
