Ive been riding for 30 years and have the Step on X with Photons. This is the most advanced sensitive system I have used. Im fit and flexible so my reason to ride Step on’s is not for convenience it is more for the feel and they are light. 😊

I've heard of the mesh breaking off from the highback. I've never experienced it myself. I like the soft feel of the Genesis SO bindings. I can't wait to try out the Genesis EST SO bindings.

genisis was too soft for me. went to the regular reflex and it was way better for me

Hi! 172cm (5'8) / 116kg (255 lbs) / EU44 (US 10.5) I currently ride a Nitro Prime Edge 157W and it's gotten a bit beaten up. The board feels like a whale. Pretty stable at speed, needs a lot of force and flex to change directions or stop, sluggish to turn, always have to flip to face uphill to get up. I ride generic ski slopes and a bit of park and powder. I'd like to ride more park and powder, but my Nitro feels too sluggish for park and not floaty enough for powder. I'm trying to decide between the warpig, superpig or any other volume shifted board. Which board would you recommend? Also, what size? Lengthwise, the warpig and superpig is either medium or large, but the weight seems to push it to large or extra large Thanks a lot!

Actually its all personal on what you learn faster on, if you already snowboard you just need to look into the specs and match your riding style. And important, the build structure, camber, rocker, whatever. I for sure dont recommend freestyle boards for a beginner, because what does that even mean? A Evil Twin is by nowhere the same board as lets say, a Doa, or heck, a freestyle libtech rocker. Which both arent very beginner friendly in their own ways, Evil Twin is stiff af for newb, and the LT rocker doesnt offer much stability nose or tail wise. Flex is personal, buy something second hand is my suggestion, just something cheap, right for your size and boots, just ask the guy, and it doesnt even need to be from a few years back, just only learn on it, then you can decide what you liked, dislike, what your riding needs to improve, what your looking for for possible more fun, then you can choose a first board. Lets not spoil 800$ on a rocker when you deffenitely dont press or, or you bought a stif af freestyle board ment to jump 100ft in the air because you was recommended a freestyle board.

I bought some but havent used yet as they are fairly thick. I have a high arch AND a high instep, and wide front of feet even though I’m a size 8. So I really struggle getting a good boot fit. Years and years ago I have 32 Lashed with a custom footbed. They were so comfy and could wear them all day with no issues at all. Had a few seasons off after having a child then ‘treated’ myself to new boots, many new boots. Including 32Lashed with various lacing systems but none of them fit the same. Long story I won’t bore you any more. I might try my remind insoles but lace my boots a bit looser round the foot.

My snowboard boots don't have insoles, it has a heat mould boot liner. Just curious, do snowboard boots mostly use insoles?
