@snowboardingdays I still have it, but I dont ride that often so I am sticking with the peace keeper, to be fair to the twinping I also improved stences on the PK, but i feel the PK made my turns way smoother

@@Joao-e-o-lobo Yeah, the PK is perfect for turning/carving. twin pig handles it great, but much more of an allrounder with the novelty factor

@@snowboardingdays she dont know what peace seeker means, she just feel like this board is much more staple than her last board--- burton process

how would you compare this to Superpig? I've been eyeing the pig for awhile now, but then this board came out and seems like a step up. I ride mainly in ontario, no mountians, snow condition pretty poor (slushy, choppy, uneven, icy) but it does get good at from time to time. I consider myself an advance, aggressive rider that loves to lay down trenches, pop off side hits/drops. Pretty much cover the whole hill. Don't go into the park very much tho..thanks!

Hey - sorry for the delay. Busy off-season this year!
This is certainly more of a hard-charging carver than the super pig - feels much more stable at speed. This likes to lay trenches and handled icy/firm conditions much better than the warpig or superpig.
That being said, given your conditions I'd personally choose the super pig as it's more fun for messing around when there's crappy/slushy conditions... which sounds like is pretty often. However sounds like I'm much more freestyle leaning than you. Also depends on your quiver... would this board be one of many, or a daily driver?

@@snowboardingdays yea it's basically a daily driver because 90% of the season is spent riding at Blue Mountain. I noticed that the Peace Seeker was sold out early this year, all sizes, superpig also low on numbers but slightly more availability
no worries, thanks for getting back!

Is this supposed to replace the Berzerker? How do they compare to each other?

The Bezerker is still alive and kicking. Love that board. I agree though that the more they add to their lineup, the more overlap we’re starting to see. Particularly as the “PIG” lineup covers most areas now too.
The Berzerker is obviously more traditionally shaped, more versatile and sort of a “big mountain all-mountain” vibe. The Peace Seeker is more directional, volume-shifted and leans further towards powder.
I’d consider the Bezerker as a one board quiver for an aggressive all-mountain freeride rider, whereas the Peace Seeker is more of a quiver board alongside an all-mountain deck.
      Hope that makes sense?

Thanks! How would you compare powder performance of the Ride PS vs Burton Fish in Japan blower and trees? Or is there another board that you would recommend?

    • @snowboardingdays
      @snowboardingdays  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

No problem! Where are you headed in Japan? and what time of the season?
As you probably know, most resorts have tonnes of low gradient tree lines - which I have tended to find worked better with super volume-shifted short fattys. In the lower sections of Niseko for example, I loved the Rossignol Sushi, but if you're hiking the peaks and more open sections too, the Burton Fish (or Sashimi if we're talking about Rossignol) was more versatile.
If you're going in peak powder season (January-Feb) then I'd personally be pretty comfortable taking a super powder focused board like the Fish. If you're going a little later on, then the Ride PS may be better - as it'll give you more versatility on non-powder days, and is way better for carving up groomers etc.
If I'm travelling for a short trip (rather than board testing), I now tend to bring an all-mountain board for groomer/park laps during periods without powder, and a super powder focused board. If I can only bring one, it would be the powder option. Ultimately I go to Japan for the powder, so I'll happily sacrifice versatility whilst waiting for those all-time powder days.
