nice video but you forgot to mention how you have bifrost on you brother
Lol 🤣
14:20 cause the goal of the series and insomniac is to write Peter out its a spiderman game hating its main lead same reason he's so gimped and doesn't get all his suits to balance out to miles its just so bad
Idk if it’s just me but the Xbox version of this game is extremely broken‼️like for example the game randomly just closes out randomly and takes me to the dashboard 🤦🏾this is what made me never touch it again
@@BrayWs sorry to hear about the terrible performance on Xbox. That sucks! It performed great on PlayStation. Worth trying again after all the patches now?
Personally I agree the game has flaws but I heavily disagree with those you listed in the opening
even tho this game has many flaws I really did enjoyed even tho the ending wasn’t that great but the funny this game had made me really appreciate it especially when they killed brok
Id rather die by impalation than playing ironwood ever again
This made me laugh so hard
The game was never even bad
It is a good game for the reasons mentioned in the video. Here are some criticisms. 1. Alan wake as a character is quite dull. He just repeats things like "I got to get away" or "I need to save her" and things like that. I cannot relate to him. I do not care what happens to him. 2. The dark place is too unpredictable and unknown. It is difficult to create foreshadowing and build up, so that when a plot twist happens, it feels satisfying. Alan is wandering around and it feels meaningless as any progression seems accidental and it can be taken away at any moment for magical reasons. I am indifferent what is in the next play area, because anything can happen there. I cannot anticipate anything so why even care. Nothing matters. It is a bit like in bad newer ending anime shows. No on dies permanently. Everything can be retconned. You can be losing very badly, but then with power of friendship, you win... Alan wake has almost 0 power compared to the dark place. If he wins or loses, it is not because he (me the player) accomplished something. It is because he stumbled to the right place and some more powerful entity decided to help or accidently helped him. So the strategy seems to be that go do random things and roll the dice. Plot Armor will protect you from downside and eventually something good will happen. I did not have a sense of progression. For these (and other) reasons Saga Anderson was much more enjoyable. Did anyone else have some technical difficulties on PC like: 1. Could not pick up items. you see an item, but cannot arrange the camera in a way that the pick up option appears. 2. Inventory management with mouse and keyboard was buggy. It would not always select the item i clicked and would not allow me to move them easily. This made boss fights difficult. If I ran out of my quick select items, it was super difficult to equip new weapons. I thought several times that perhaps I should change to a controller, but newer did. 3. FPS was very low. This got me to buy a new GPU after I finished it.
I had no prob with the game. I so enjoyed it....i milked it for all it was worth and 100 percent it. I found it was slightly better than gow 2018. The Atreus sections wasnt that bad and was cool to pkay as him. The only gripe i had with thr game was how they rushed ragnarok end of rhe game amd it all felt anti climatic. You soend 30-40hrs to get there ..and its over in an hour or 2. Otherwise it was a 9.5 for me. Gow 2018 was a 9.
Gowr vs elden ring at the game awards was iconic
So I won't buy the game then
It's worth playing but get it on a discount.
@Trench-coat I'll wait till it's cheap
playing as atreus was a bit less fun obviously however it's not terrible, and it makes playing as kratos far more appreciated
it still looks phenomenal on the ps4 pro,i still just get stuck saying "this game is gorgeous" to my self often it just looks stellar and my neighbor has it on the 5 it looks amazing on the 5 of course but going back to the pro it's not like im like ahh this looks like crap now,no not in the slightest just beautiful chefs kiss 👌
Awesome! Glad to hear it still looks great on the PS4 pro.
People complaining about Odin in this game like it isn’t the most accurate depiction of Odin in media ever, bro is NOT Zeus not even close he didn’t kill Ymir by himself in Norse myth he has his brothers help jump him😭😭😭 people saying they don’t like Odin is fair it’s a different version of the dude that we’ve seen on screen but him being a master manipulator warlock very much checks out myth wise
I love Odin in the game!
@ very glad someone likes him as much as I do I don’t get the Odin hate at all😭
I hated the ateyus missions
Step down.? Nahh in my opinion , the UI is incredible . The customization options INTENTIONALLY give you 12037449 ways to approach combat. Instead of 2018 where you essentially have cooldown build or runic build or hybrid of both , now you can have ANY kind of build . The hybrid builds are incredible . The status elements actually matter . But again , all of this is just opinion based anyway . And he’s the Valhalla DLC was bloody incredible . Incredibly happy they did Tyr justice .
Valhalla is fantastic!
Should have left Corey in charge .
Silent hill 2 tops this fs
Its a great game but it shouldnt be so hard
I completely understand where you're coming from! Sometimes the challenge can be a bit overwhelming, but it definitely adds to the excitement of the game for me
0:11 more like keeping developers from releasing on shitty old consoles.
I’m loving the game. Going to %100 it for sure.
Awesome! It’s a rather easy 100% luckily. Hope you enjoy it.
7:22 another thing about the draupnir spear, it is the ONLY weapon that has ever been make fire Kratos. Blades? Forged in Tartarus. Leviathan axe? Made for Faye. This is the first weapon truly for Kratos
What would you rate the game out of 10?
8/10
Spider man games need to be 50 hours plus of story if we are only getting one game every 4 years
The game should've been longer to accommodate the grander story or the story should've been more simple. The first game had an amazing story with the same length. It's all about the execution.
Just totally botched the 3rd act. The whole web of shadows story line was too much for one single act, especially when it’s been done. Should have just went with venom causing chaos in New York trying to kill Peter. Peter isn’t supposed to have spider sense with venom so it could have been so cool to take that off and make it more difficult, and have a real reason for Peter and miles to fight him together. “Better together” that’s what they advertised and we did not get it. First two acts were really good, almost perfect.
I agree, I was so on board with the first to acts!
God of War Ragnarök is perfect to me, it is better to me than RDR2 and i thougt no game would ever be better than it. Let me tell you my side of the Story. When GOW3 released i saw it everywhere on social media, and in Newsletters. Every Shop where you can bought Technical stuff also had the Game somewhere, so i decided to buy it for 90 € and i didn't wanted to be disapointed. I played it on my PS4 but after i met Tyr in his Prison i stopped playing and deleted it. In Summer of 2023 tho, i bought a PS 5 just for the upcoming Spiderman Game. So i thougt, why don't give GOWR a final chance. Long story short, i grinded for the Platinum. The story, the graphic, the Mindset of Kratos and the Bosses were just Chefs Kiss! I grinded the Platinum and let it rest, then again... I remembered this Year in August that i didn't bought the PS 5 Version for this Game and i put another 10 € in the Game for the PS 5 Edition, just to Platinum it all over again and Grinded the Valhalla DLC. Overall, this Game has to be perfect for me just to 100% it two times and get teary eyes in deep scenes.
Best boss fight?
Spoilers: The most memorable for me against heimdall.
@@Trench-coat And we all know why lol
Ngl saying it's the best Venom is a bit crazy, since imo it's one of his worst adaptations, especially since his personality is basically non existent, but outside of that it's a great video and I pretty much agree with everything.
I certainly don’t mean best venom in general, I just mean in motion picture/gaming. Comics obviously have way better renditions of the character. I also meant more in a visual sense than in a character sense. This venom looks incredible. Thanks for watching!
Fgks. Dhs
As a fan of the OG trilogy the new re-imaginated version is still disappointing for me. Same as you i finally tried both "North" versions but i was extremely disappointed in combat, toned down gigantic bosses, gore, nerfed Kratos, annoying Atreus, pathetic story and insulting puzzles. I'll take Ascension over this any time, also i replayed the OG trilogy and Ascension and damn what have they done to this franchise is a insult for the OG fans. ( It was pain to finish both "North" games, the dialogue is painful to listen...like they never shut up, even when you need to use your brain for puzzles the damn minions are giving you spoilers. )
I was very disappointed with Ragnarok icl
I feel like Ragnarok could've been more destructive, like for example have you guys seen GoW 2018 elf war when you were going through hordes of dark elves it was like you were in a real war just demolishing every enemy in your path you felt like a God but in Ragnarok It was as if I was kinda weak.
I bought this at launch but it was backlogged until now. I’m just starting the game now, first impressions is AMAZING!
Great game but not a clue what the hell the story is about
Lol 🤣
I just got Outlaws on a Black Friday sale from Amazon. Maybe it helps that I got the game post-update, but I'm really enjoying it so far. The story isn't the most original, but I love the gritty and punkish atmosphere the game has, and the feeling of being a morally gray bandit. You can really tell the amount of love and care the devs put into designing each world. You really feel immersed in the Star Wars setting. The stealth missions don't feel punishing or annoying, and the gunfights feel fun and exciting, for the most part. I even got to play a round of Sabaac, and got the hang of it pretty quickly. As for Kay, while she isn't the most interesting protagonist, I can't really say I hate her. She never feels annoying or poorly written, and she's likable enough for you to not mind playing as her. Overall, Outlaws is a really underrated game that didn't deserve its terrible rep. It's really Ubisoft's fault for that.
Fantastic! Glad you got it during Black Friday, I think it’s a great game to get on sale. Super underrated. Thanks for the comment.
Opinions…they’re all different. I’ll pass on this Ubitrash. I’ve been playing games too long to call it good. If you enjoy it, more power to you. We all have different standards.
personally every atreus section in asgard was amazing, i LOVED learning about the norse gods from the perspective OF the norse gods in their own home, it was great. his combat is alright, but the asgard story was easily my favourite part of the game, especially with heimdall and thrud - those two stood out for me. the only atreus section that was bad was of course.. ironwood. waste of time, beautiful area but complete waste of time.
Having a blaster with this game, it has some great elements, I hope they keep making content for it.
Still one more expansion coming next year!
I've been playing it on pc for the past two days, and I really enjoy it. Got it through Uplay+. I was worried because of the reviews. I didn't want to spend 60 if it sucked.
Wait the majority of people liked to play as Atreas ? As one of the biggest gow fans I could not play Ragnarok for the second time because of Atreas! And that's why I play Valhalla! That was my first thing I didn't like. My second is how overly Soft and family friendly Kratos was. And don't say to me: iT wAs pErSoNaL diVeLoPmEnT. Gow 4 kratos was the right direction in how much he developed as a person after the end of gow 3. They shouldn't have changed it! Last is that in both games we have family friendly fatalities, blood and stuff. There is no comparison between the old games fatalities to the last two gow games! ( When kratos had his first fight with thor, I wanted to see his death. And no, I didn't have it, and then his own father killed him. BRUUH )
Got the Platinum and I can safely say this game is utter garbage, £70 on Pony Digital is a scam 👎
what a stupid video hahaha. This is 250M dollar AAA game not a 3 people indie game. It's like if you are Brazil in the world cup and you only reach quater filnal which is considerd 7/10 alreay if it is a game. But you see something? 7/quater final wasn't enough for a big and quality team like Brazil. A budget like Outlaw should have get at produce an 8-8.5 game not a 7. You are so dumb
Not as good as it should've been The story was just okay The payoff from all that perfect buildup in the first game was not so good And the "Ragnarok" event itself SUCKED
the only reason people hated on this game was because they listened to grifters that have a victim loser default setting.
If I could vote this game for GOTY, today, I would.
Lol I bought the game for the first time on PC and I just went straight to Valhalla. I didn't want to play as Atreus at all so I didn't even bother with the main game.
@@Omnissiah2255 main game is definitely worth it though… some really epic moments despite the slower Atreus stuff.
i definitely felt the same for Atreus. cool the first time then after i wanted to go back to Kratos
the story is great but it feels weird going to sindri's house every 5 seconds, it just makes the story feel disjointed unlike the first game
I actually really enjoyed playing it
Awesome!
The problem with this game is it’s open ending, also saga was sooooo cringe at the end.
