I think it would be fair to match the sample rates between the sessions as well. The M1 runs at 48kHz while the M4 runs at 44.1kHz-which could be considered a slight advantage. Nice comparison video though. Keep up the good work ;)

Interesting - i think what this showed, as you say, is for most peoples 'real world' usage, M1 is a perfectly useable machine. Only when pushing into multiple hundred tracks the M4 becomes vital but I doubt folk who are producing those track counts would be buying the base spec mac mini anyway. Really Like your summary about gear being just tools and creativity is key....sometimes limitations can stimulate creativity - the memory limit in old samplers were testament to that.

thats a great video man but soundcloud for artists has now a slightly different feel with other windows. I cant get any further with profile mapping its asking me for an artists link or select matching profile. ive been trying for over 6 months to release songs and still cannot get any further it just dont wanna work

The told her that she had a streaming bot from TikTok. I was so confused. I told her the scum the money because it doesn't make sense that you can 2 million of does people using your song in their videos. Does look like bot to me.

in August 2024 the service ist just a nightmare - monetizing song I am holding all rights ist just impossible - Verifying emails does not work (link within the confirmation email already exspired) - support is non exsistent - the help center is almost useless when it comes to non-standard problems - and even the chat bot gave up and is not responding anymore - I don't think SC is very trustworthy at all - I prefer a professional distributor like DB or RJ - this is just "Kids wanna play with the big boys" - so sad - SC has seen better days

Ok I have a problem. I want to release music, but I also am a stage performer. I do theatre, and so my branding on social media is my natural name. Which is a great stage name, McLain Hunter. I’m torn with whether or not, I should create a separate account for my music, which will mean choosing a different artist name, or conjoining my theatre account with my singing one to just be my natural name McLain. I like my middle name too, Elise. I just am torn between whether or not to use my name. And if it has that “It” singer quality to it if you know what I mean?
