I got one in Coral Red and it's a lot of fun to play and sounds great. I like vintage spec (and miss the extra chrome) but this has it's own vibe. My only complaint is that it's a lil heavy. Appreciate the video.

I myself have a Fender Vintera II Mustang, like the one you had in the review of those. It's hands down the best guitar I have ever owned. While I love the sound of Jaguars, the weight is not very appealing, since I have back problems. My Stang is very light weight by comparison.

I was hoping to see some Albatrosses! I'm actually in Japan right now and may go check one out at a nearby guitar shop. Does yours have any neck dive? That's my only hesitation with them.

No MetallicA or Metal riffs? I think people interested in this guitar are metal guys no one wants to hear Strat sparkly tones. Nice video

I’ve already looked in the group but I still haven’t found anything, I use my quadcortex connected on the iPhone as an audio interface, and a protake app that records video and audio together, in the monitoring of the app it’s not clipping and also in the quad nothing is clipping, but when I give play on the video the effects keep clipping, I use an otg adapter to connect the quad on the iPhone, is this adapter that is giving this bad audio?

Umbreon approves of the color scheme. Yeah, the phaser was the nicest surprise! The delay also had a nice analog style frequency rolloff. The dirt did it's job but didn't really grab my attention. Nice little package to get creative juices flowing on the cheap. Wouldn't mind throwing this at a beginner to get them rolling.

Donner makes good affordable stuff. I have a few of their Vivid series pedals. I was looking at their version of a 335. You'd be the one to review it, hint, hint. 😂

Just buy the American 65 reissue. Build quality is fine, standard pickups sound good, angled neck pocket means it has solid tuning/intonation even with the the standard bridge and 11s.

Wait, what about the Vintera 60s Jag? i thought it was nearly all period correct down to the fretboard radius

I got an IYV mustang that I absolutely love. It’s one of my keepers along with my music man Albert Lee, My AVRI Telecaster, and my G&L legacy special.

Just got this guitar recently. I hate to say it, but I’m very disappointed with the tone. I think the 250k pots take away from what I really liked with my old Squier CV JM. The Hybrid II is just too muddy and dark.

Dude! This is the amp I’ve been searching for. I’m so bipolar with the style of music I want to play. My JCM800 with a full pedalboard can get me almost anywhere I want to be… but I wanted an amp I could easily transport to jam sessions and just plug in a strat and do the Jimi thing or my Les Paul and play a Tool riff. Built in reverb too? Take my money

Do you think the core McCarty you had was better than the s2 one you reviewed and do you prefer the single cut PRs over the double cut..I have the fiore ans love it..

When did the s2 line start using the core pickups. I seen a s2 2023 and 2024 on Dave’s saying both had the core pickups..

Jim, would you please consider doing an in-depth video on Tokai? How can we better understand the different models/levels and finishes? Regarding selling on Reverb, I like Jim document the packing process. It saved me from a few jerks who tried to lie and get a post-sale discount.

I watched a video demo . The guy was in love. But it sounded really bad in the video . Nothing like a marshall jtm or early jmp. It was really flubby fuzzy like the speaker was blown ..

S2 models are very good guitars. I've had a couple and they are way better than the SE(s) I've played.

Some nice maple on this one👌 The SE sounded good too, but something about the solid flame maple and one piece mahogany body that I really appreciate with the S2s. Now with the US pickups, perfection.
