Does the light stay red when the volume is all the way down? If so, you’ve got way too much watts going into the amp. Make sure all your gains are set to flat on the head unit EQ and the amplifier gain is set to the lowest setting… start by increasing volume on you head unit until it clips then back off a little. From there you can increase the gain on the amp…. Too much bass into the amp will also cause clipping and the amp will go into protection mode… I hope this helps!

Aloha! I bumped into your channel because I currently have a 2018 Silverado 1500 that I may need to replace my AC valves/hoses but I'm a bit lost because looking at the diagrams & parts I can't make up if the assembly is just all one piece where it looks like it has the high & low pressure hoses combined & then there's some that the hoses appear as individual piece so I was wondering if you had any knowledge on what hoses I would need to replace if I was needing to replace ALL of the AC system related ones? The main reason is I appear to have a small leak somewhere in my AC system but doesn't look to be from the condenser so to be safe I want to replace all the hoses, seals, etc. pull a vacuum to get all the current freon/oil out and then refill it with the appropriate amount but I'm stuck on what hoses/assembly parts I'll need to do this so any tips or info would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve done this many time time so there’s no confusion as to what parts I need. You can also put dye in the system to pin point the leak before spending money on parts you didn’t need to buy… Keep me posted on what route you decided to take! 🤙🏼

Correct me if I am wrong, but that catch pan shouldn't be getting wet at all isn't it? Does this mean the unit is leaking inside? I believe the second drain attached to the catch pan that exits above a window is used to indicate trouble in the system.

Bro check your hoses on your catch can ... Unless I misunderstood the video.... PCV is dirty inlet going to the filter baffle... The other side is cleaner going back into the intake.... Another thing you might have done is mount the catch can lower than the intake to the intake ... Of course that's not always possible... But this would allow any oil in the hoses to run back into the catch can... Let gravity do some of the work...

I’ve also been in multiple forums and some say it doesn’t matter how the hoses are connected it will still capture oil. I made a follow up video showing how much oil was captured. @@hawaiianbrokechanic I am also curious if it makes a difference to switch the hoses IN vs OUT. I copied the concept of the Mishimoto catch can with the IN port being the no baffle and the OUT port with the baffle. It is reversed with the Evil energy brand being the IN port has the baffle and the Out port no baffle. I would think the oily air would be trapped in the can, then gets "filtered" when air is sucked out. But I guess the only way to know for sure is to measure the amount of oil trapped after a certain amount of miles using the same oil and under the same driving conditions. Thanks for the video.
