Something odd about this set is how none of the shoulder yokes are broken up with a separate colour, its just the direct transition from colour to colour. I usually think those are effective in jersey design, so its interesting to not see that used. But, the sleeve stripes also arent completed either, so there are a few things missing.
The Victoire is the only one I like. The logo looks fine on the white jersey without the captain's "C" and the ad patch blends into the white, but on the dark jersey the logo looks too big because it's crammed against the "C" and the ad patch. The word "Sirens" is lost on the dark jersey because it's the same blue as the jersey. If it was a dark blue with a white outline it would really pop. As is, you can't even read the word from a distance. I would like the Scepters better if it was just the TS logo without that floating ball/spike thing above it.
I would say overall I am a fan. I wish they weren’t all so aligned, like how they all have shoulder yolks, and in the uniform, they all use navy blue or black pants. I wish there was a but more there (looking at you Boston, Ottawa, and Minnesota too, but mostly Boston). Overall though, I think they are pretty good. My favorite set is definitely New York, because of the bright and unique color scheme. I love it. As someone from Columbus, I would love to see a team come to Columbus, but I don’t think it will ever happen unfortunately.
@@lukerisko7601 I think it's tough enough getting fans excited about Jackets hockey, so I can't imagine they expand there. Absolutely love the town, though. I haven't been in about 6 years, which is too long to be away from the Thurman Cafe.
The I decided to follow was Minnesota when the team announced they got Kendall Coyne since the league did make a team in Chicago. I will probably get the Minnesota jersey.
Montreal and Boston are the best of the bunch with Toronto just behind. They're all solid looks for the most part. The other three are very 'meh'. Too bad they're not selling the road jerseys since I would have grabbed up that cream Montreal jersey in a heartbeat.
I want to like the NY jerseys but I just can't. I think it's as lazy as the Ottawa jerseys. The logo on the white jersey absolutely disappears. Of all the things to name a team after in NY, that's what they settled on? I don't think this logo ages well.
I think Ottawa should properly step away from the "city colours". Drop the red and go light gray/dark grey/electric yellow for a heavy machinery sort of look. Maybe work some hazard stripes in somewhere.
About the Victoire jersey : The reason behind the baby blue stripe is a reference to the Québec flag. As a fan from Montréal, I love it.
It should AT LEAST be on the sleeves in the same spot. Just feels too random alone

Schrembs had me rollin with the, Chottowa 😂

@ yea… that sounds more like a speech impediment.
the jerseys are made by the same factory as the NHL (SP) and the stripes were cut off like that last year but only on the on ice product
@@OMGYoKy there's no good reason for the stripes being cut off then. It just looks cheap

The number gimmicks are responsible for the incomplete sleeve stripes.

The fleet does a good job at referencing the whalers while still being its own
That's a good way of putting it
Montreal and NY are my favs.
Some aren't too bad, but look straight out of 1994.
New intro could this be a new era for ugly thirds
I desperately want to rep my home team but my god Ottawas branding is so bad

Boston / Montreal / Toronto / New York / Minnesota / Ottawa. Don't think I will be buying any of them though.
Darn people NOT selling the white versions of the jerseys.
Ottawa needs a rebrand they look like Calgary’s farm team.
