Another excellent episode! Personally, I really love this jersey and don’t get the “hate” that some people have for it. It’s super distinctive, a great conversation starter, lots of fun and also looks great! The only negative for me, is that on the ice they created confusion for the opposition and fans, in much the same way that zebra stripes confuse tigers and lions!
The barber pole jersey might be one of my favorite 'old-timey' throwbacks in the league. They were nice for an one-off. I actually prefer the sweater variations over the on-ice jersey from the centennial for the added vintage feeling.

I am presuming they’d be different, and not the same. Another was to request jersey collection images and discuss in the trademarked Ugly Thirds way. Also will you guys be going to that Game Worn Jersey Expo you attended last year? I my would be amazing to see videos focussed on that event discussing “favourite jersey at the expo”, “most nostalgic jersey at the expo”, “rarest jersey at the expo”, & “most historically significant jersey at the expo”. I’m sure you guys could come up with more ideas. Keep the content coming :)
Absolutely love the grail jersey idea, thought it might be hard to show off when it's something you don't have yet. Or they can show "this is the closest I've gotten but it's a Mitchell and Ness blue line and I want the actual one"
@@Ramuh. That’s a valid point, and I didn’t even think of your solution. I figured they could use a slide or slides to show the image to the audience, and maybe use a print-out or something for their discussion.
I lucked out, found this one over the weekend. Amazing your timing! I got this one for $50 CAD (along with the green leaf for the same price) it's absolutely a fixer upper, gotta fix the 100 patch and give them a deep clean but for the price who could say no? Its absolutely a statement piece, I had originally given up on finding it because I never thought I'd find it for a reasonable price. my heart was set on the green leaf. I'm hoping to wear it for Halloween, it's just that eye catching, since I'm not a costume guy I still might get the chance to stand out on a day like that. I feel with these two my Habs collection is close to being finished (as everyone says) at least for ones I want to add.
$50 CAD? That, what, $12 USD? But seriously, that's an absolute if you don't mind giving it an Oxybath and some stitches here and there. Those Reebok shoulder patches were pure garbage, so the ones I've seen online all have faded shoulder patches. It just comes with the territory. got one for christmas in 2009 I think? I was about 7 or 8 years old then. genuinely love it and how it looks. not a jersey collector but been a habs fan my whole life. this jersey is sick and holds a special place in my heart lol. unfortunately it's wayy too small for me now. that said, I will never get rid of it, no matter how much they ever go for. really wish I had the red and green one tho, and also wish they'd bring those back
I became obsessed with collecting the Centennials. I have all 5 in game-worn, replicas, and sweaters, both the Tricolor and the Roger Edwards collections. Yes I know I have a problem - Lol Great video as always.
