Canyon Spectral:ONfly E-MTB Review | Is Less Really More?
มุมมอง 7Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Canyon went all-in with the "less is more" philosophy when designing the Spectral:ONfly, a lightweight, 150 mm E-MTB. This makes for a bike that's incredibly intuitive and natural to ride, even leaving you forgetting you're on an e-bike from time to time. But this, of course, has its downsides, especially when it comes to battery range and power output. Let us know what you think of the Spectra...

First Look at the 2024 Rad Power Bike Lineup
Let’s see a test of that izzo this year! Thanks for the weekly round up josh, these are good fun.
I have more respect for people riding trails on $1k bikes than anyone on a Ebike, especially a $9k Segway. That's not cycling.
Well rounded review. Very thorough. Thanks for posting!
Glad you liked it!
That izzo looks 👌👌👌
Commencrack is garbage also !
Yesterday's Trash !
The updated Izzo Core 3 with Ohlins suspension looks sick. Love the colorway. I’d give it serious consideration if I didn’t own a 2024 Smuggler. There’s no Core 4 yet but I’d assume it’s coming.
To bad 3/2.5 and 6/4 Titanium bikes weren't value bikes l😁l
I have a core 4 from last year got it in the outlet for 2100 bucks which was insane and its been a rad bike I couldn't be happier
Killer deal 🤯 Glad you’ve been stoked on it!
I want that boxxer red pike fork.
I actually come from history of year to year Yetis, Santa-Cruz bikes and so on… last 3 bikes have all been YTs and they simply work and ride fantastic for the money.
Wow, that’s high praise with a background on those bikes!
I have an izzo core 1 from last year and I think last year was a better value. Also I prefer my sram drivetrains. So personal preference I guess.
Oh man I’d take Deore over SX any day, but glad you’ve enjoyed the bike!
@ lol I changed the derailuer to xo1 and shifter to xo1. And cranks to gx transmission
Ah! Well that’s another story haha, but also kinda eliminates the value conversion 🧐
@ 175 mm cranks on a medium is crazy in my opinion those had to go right away
YT makes such amazing build kits. The bikes look sick as well - dope colorways and lines.
They really do! I demoed an Izzo at the Mill in San Clemente and was very impressed, super capable while still feeling fun and sharp
Hard tail for me both as a cycle and motor carnt beat either
Bicycles are all the same. There are no secrets. I ride the Bianchi Outré XR4 because I like the color and it is Italian.
I want them to release the damn Brifters they promised so you will have an actual groupset that works for Gravel riding with lower range gear ration and wider overall range without having to perform a a hack of any kind.
How tall are you?
6’1” or 185 cm
Literally did a review on a pedal based only on price and no experience...... I don't think you understand how reviews work...... Like a boomer reviewing a restaurant they've never been to 😂😂😂
Not a review, just sharing cycling news 🤙
i have Shimano Cues on my Trail Bike i find it hard tuning the RD not like my other Shkmano derailleurs
Interesting! We never experienced that, but thanks for sharing!
ElectricMoTorBikes
Mini Velos will take over North America 😜
What river is that?
That’s the Deschutes River in Bend, OR
@@99spokes Thank you. I love your video and the river as a background , Keep it up.If I could ask this. What bike will you choose between the Rocky Mountain Instinct 10 vs the Specialized 15 Alloy EVO. Thank you
Both are great bikes! I’d probably lean towards the Stumpy 15 though
I’m on a transition relay w 60 nm Fazua power, and I’ve found the motor hits a Goldilocks sweet spot of just enough power to still make it feel like a traditional mtb (it’s perfect for me)….the 85 nm full power bikes I’ve ridden either hit too hard or not enough, as the power delivery settings were too far apart in feel (I’d need to edit the power curves to match what the Fazua power curves kick out as they are spot on). That said, the relay is a real tiger of a bike (even when motor is off and battery removed )
Sounds like you’ve found the perfect setup!
They sell piles of old technology bikes in Our area... Rim brakes and 3x7 group sets... they will be around for ever because there simple and they work... A $200 bike today is 7 X's that of old bikes from the 1900's that can compete... lots of these cheaper bikes have proven them selves on the coast too coast rides across Canada and the usa... standard hubs,,, rims,,, and crank sets... $20 parts last for years... 😂
Why does it have a 2x ?
Those a very good points but there is some difference on how the bike handles/feels based on weight. I have a YT decoy 54lb and then I bought a Kenevo SL 43lb and absolutely love the handling due to the weight difference. I recently bought the Moterra sl (44lb and full power) and I feel it is the best of both worlds. It is still somewhat of a compromise but to me it is worth it. You bring up very good points though 👍
My thing is emtbs are meant to make you more mobile and help you on hard and long climbs. So why the hell are we crying about the weight like we do with acoustic bikes. To me, a 45 to 55lb emtb bike is not a hidrents just like 35 to 39lb trail bike isn't compared to a sub 32 lb one. I would rather have a weight penalty than a chinsey frame and lightweight components that wear out quick. It seems to me people need to stop striving for lighter bikes and strength train more. If you're not a xc race pro competing, weight should not be an issue in a bike within reason, sorry.
Given anyone who rides a bike at least one hour a day, what is the percentage of people who can afford a bike $1000 or more.
I think that would depend on whether they’re using the bike for transportation or recreation
It's very good , good shifting, reliable, pretty well made for longevity and durability for the price
What is your height and how did you like the large sizing?
This is a large and I’m 6’1 or 185 cm
Companies are getting greedy again!
Stella is also French not Italian. 7:20
Mercier is a French brand not Italian.
"Birds of the same feather, flock together" They tend to exercise around the same time, shop around the same time, often found to be about and or having trendy things...I think this is hilarious and to a certain extent reveals communism which implies this: Everyone has to be on the same level or nearing the same in everything. I never followed much of anything. I always (ever since a young girl) did my own thing and I had learned many important aspects about humanity and LIFE in reference to the crowds being nearly the same in everything. I have my own creative insight, etc and most definitely tend to stick out like a sore thumb among 'communistic' like crowds.

2025 prediction: Forbidden launches an eMTB this spring featuring the DJI Avinox motor.
Yeesssss!!
I really like your enthusiasm.
Thank you!!
did chip ur tooth
What bike trainer would you recommend for under 300$
What type of riding are you looking to do?
Are we doomed? Of course! But that is beyond matters bike related.
Yeah I don’t understand the dramatic clickbait-y title…
No we don't need longer dropper posts. I already can barely fit 100mm and at bets 125 with a 27.5 inseam.
I'll be happy if they release Brifters for CUES.
Oh really what about GT?
This videos is sick!
great and informative video josh... curious to see how it all plays out this year. My favorite part of course was the "N+1" comment... continues to be the running joke at my house with my family :) my wife has officially adopted that with her shoe collection!
lol nice 😂
Shimano wireless is overdue. Hopefully they nail it.
Wireless is just a dumb usless money grab. There is nothing wrong with cable controlled drive train. Bikes need to get cheaper, not more complicated and expensive. The industry is not anywhere close from further contraction and brands failing.
Lmao.. Trump just wants business done in America for American citizens to Profit! So Actual Americans have jobs and not kids, men and woman in sweatshops getting paid pennies, In third world countries. TRUMP IS DOING THE RIGHT THING! Trump 2025 LFG!!🔥🔥🔥
The website is solid
Hardtails, you can jump higher and go faster
If I had $5,000 I would buy the Stark varg Electric Dirt bike.. Or at least a down payment haha
