Was that water pump making a bunch of racket like a rattle? I'm hearing a noise can't tell where it's coming from.
It was making noise...don't remember what kind
Man I'm about to do that now I'm stuck😢
Your video sucks!
Thank you so much!
Never seen a video that shows what you did to fix after your finished , we wanna see you fix it play by play ...
Sorry but to me the video is garbage. No idea what tools to use and direct illustration
stupid video
LMAO dude.
Mrm, by any chance, do you know where the blind spot warning sensor is. I have an idea but am not 100% sure. Thanks in advance
The code I got was p0456. My scanner reads that it's a permanent code. I read it won't erase until the cars computer acknowledges it's been fixed. Is that right or should I just clear it?
Thanks for the help
Can I get the black gasket in low’s, my toilet is Toto CST 854
I wish my ls had the thx nav
To help anyone doing this job, use a socket and tap that seal down. This will give you enough clearance for that snap ring and also break the seal, making it easier to remove. To install, tap it in far enough to clear the snap ring, install the snap ring, then use the screw to pull the seal back out to seat against the snap ring. Use a bit of PAG oil on your o-rings before installing the seal and this job will be easy.
Not enough room for a 1/4 socket I guess
Excellent video. Saved me alot of time. Anytime you can get around pulling the intake is a good day 👍👍
Gracias por tu video amigo suba más videos por favor dios lo bendiga
Is this the same way to do it on a 2010 EX35 Infiniti since they have similar engines
Maybe, but I don't know anything about that car
Even if it's not the same, you can get an idea. Take the engine cover off, and try to locate the evap canister.
Wish you would of showed how you got the new snap ring in . Im bout ready to gork upmoney for new condenser with new filer already installed
I know this is an old video, but I used a comment from somebody else in this video. I had to use a socket in Hammer up a little bit to get the old snap ring out. Basically, had to do the same thing in reverse when I put in the new dryer. Hammer it up a bit with the socket, then with a normal pair of snapping pliers, I put in the new snap ring. In order to put the cat back on, I had to screw in a bolt into the screw hole and pulled down on the dryer so that it would be flush as possible. Then I was able to screw the cap on.
Hola ,no sean egoístas ,muestren como se pone la banda del tiempo.😊
i hate that. knee deep in a beer or two, cussing at this foreign ford jaguar mess of a starter to pull out and some goober comes up to talk and wastes time.. at that point i usually just sit there under the car, take deep breaths and rethink my life decisions.
Very nice video. Clear illustrations of steps you took. Sometimes the mount has to be removed and sometimes not. I think it depends on the age of vehicle (in years) when the rubber dries out and shrinks and hardens. The Part 2 video shows more and is also good. After they fixed the initial issues with the variable valve timing, this has been an exceptionally reliable powertrain. A bitch in my opinion to work on. For so much of the stuff you really need to remove the whole thing from the car to work on it. (As the factory manual says). I like that you wore gloves a lot to keep your hands clean. I do the same thing. BTW the water pump is a lot more work.
Same issue with the 4.6 and 5.4 modular engines, 6" extension and a shallow 13mm socket always worked for me, coming in from underneath
Hello nice job. Question, someone did this for me, i guess they dropped the front of the subframe down a little like you, but strangely driving car today, it just feels different. I dunno. Does dropping the frame affect any of the front wheels, like when turning?
Very late reply, but yeah, that may have screwed up your alignment. This can happen when both the front and back of the subframe are loosened, either side. Dropping only front or rear half is believed to not effect alignment, but it's possible. If it doesn't drive as straight as it should, pulls, or your tires are wearing out unevenly and quickly, an alignment needs performed. I wouldn't think this would make the alignment *too* bad, though (compared to tie rod ends or extensive suspension work for example).
I repaired the computer, got new coils and plugs. Went to start it and the key won’t even turn. Have you ever ran on this problem before.
No, but the things you did would not have caused this problem. Did you try turning the wheel either direction to unlock it? You might have to replace the key assembly if nothing else works
@@MRM-wp4grended up working it loose. Car runs perfect but as soon as I took it on the road again it went straight into etc failsafe and started shifting hard again.
Man I did this recently and all the plastic broke off nothing to pull out it was stuck took me 2days 6+hrs total i ended up drilling a small hole then put a long 2 1/2in screw into it to grab on and wiggle out took for ever.
Also i removed the driver side tire and went in thu the side and bottom to get it out.
Como quitar el encendedor del auto buich enclave 2012
Agreed!! Gm engineers should be required to work on this shit. The wireing on this vehicle is an absolute mess!! I’ve had vehicles get me upset but I’m telling ya. I was ready to stick a rag in the tank and watch the hunk of junk burn!! Just wait until you need to pull the timing cover! Oil pan has to come off and the front axle runs right through the oil pan and is part of the front diff
Thanks !! I could not locate it !! Definitely not up front 2003 Oldsmobile brivada
Thanks boss man!
So what was the solution? Tie it to the roof?
YES ! Good video. Bottom A/C wire big problem. I broke mine crank sensor pig tail not available that I could find unless buying new harness. $$$$$. I was able to solder mine but hours of hassle. Great Video. I think some videos are same engine but in camery. Much smaller engine compartment requiring more accessories removal
where to buy this gasket and flush valve kit? I have a water leaking issue and this part is discontinue .Any information for Toto CST 862?

Thank you for making this video it saved me $$$ and saved tons of time. I had attempted to pull the alternator fuse out and ruined it. The guy at the Toyota dealer said he’d seen many in worse shape. Seems like they would have put a note in the fuse diagram that it is locked in from the bottom.
Does anybody know what screen that is? I’m trying to find one to put in
When I removed the bolts, the braket nor the fuel regulator wanted to release or wiggle. It was so attached, it was like it still had bolts attached...any advice? I really wanted to do this myself. TY
sounds like there is another bolt somewhere that you can't see. I don't have mine anymore to check
Which flapper did you use?
Do you remember your symptoms as to why you changed it? I have problem with 2nd fan not coming on, and all relays and fuses are good. Also I direct jumpered the fan motor to a 12v battery and it came on. I'm stumped.
are you talking about the rear passenger fan? That would be controlled by the rear controller.
@@MRM-wp4gr no, I'm talking about the 2nd radiator fan.
@@kyle_in_tex8422 I don't think that this controller has anything to do with the radiator fans. The problem could be in the PCM....maybe some corrosion that could be cleaned off
Good video. I’m just finishing up putting the fuel rail back and now looking at reinstalling the intake. To be honest, taking it out was a bear, AC line in the way had to be gently tweaked a bit with much frustration. I noticed you made no note of alternator removal. That too was tough as the lowest bolt backed up into the AC line trapping my ratchet box wrench and the mistake was time consuming, a mistake my mechanic brother warned me about. For those interested in ratcheting box wrenches be sure to get the finger lever reversible set.
I did from the top easy in 5 mins
Also, these are known to leak fuel. Mine is an '04 and leaks intermittently. I can occasionally smell fuel and after checking under the hood, found a slight leak at this regulator. I've seen videos of these TB's and Envoys burning up so, new regulator inbound.
Atlas is a good strong engine..but anything that you have to do to work on it becomes a real pain in the ass...
Thanks. Because it sure wasn't up front. 😂
So Toyota messed up my radiator & they offered to replace it. I have an 03 Corolla with 150,000 miles. Don’t I have to replace the water pump & thermostat when replacing the radiator?
Thermostat definitely....water pump may still be good, but I would replace it with 150k miles IMO
Did this cause all the electrical dashboard, breaks, power windows and all not to work?
Mine didn't blow, but yes there would be no power to anything electrical
PLEASE how do you get that screw on the right side in the glove box i just can’t get it
I talked about it in the video. If you can't get it out, you may have to take it somewhere or just cut it somehow. If you can grind off the screw head, you should be able to pull the bracket off the screw body
Skips 90% of the job lol
You never said if that fixed your issue. Was the manifold leaking too?
This car had multiple problems. A new cat did solve the exhaust problem
Do you think this could fix a "running rough" issue? Mine sat for a month with 1/2 tank of gas. Started it and no issues then 30 min later started idling rough and stalled. Started it back up and it just runs louder and rough as if moisture or something is in the lines or bad gas. Any ideas? I'm a musician not a mechanic.
It is possible, but it could also be your fuel pump. Change your fuel filter first and see if that helps
My car isn't running hot but resaroe is bubbling
