You DON'T have to take ANYTHING apart. Use a 12 point 7/8"(23mm) socket on a 12" extension. Carefully fish it in from the wheel well cover area, and it will line up perfectly. 1/2-1 turn after attaching your socket wrench, and it's out. The whole process took me less than 10 minutes. BTW use a 3/8" extension and socket...they slide in and lock on NO EFFORT.
And I'm sorry because I asked those questions before the video was finished. So now I know you had a rough idle. Same problem I'm having and I'm not getting any codes.. So did you ever fix the problem? I've torn plum down into the valves still can find anything, I am gonna replace the valve gasket because there was a small amount of oil around my plugs. I'm just lost at the moment I have 20 things it could be and trying to diagnose them one by one. Just wanted to hear your opinion.
Not sure on what symptoms it would cause. I changed it because when I buy a used problem car cheap to fix up and sell, I have a list of things that I replace automatically in order to insure that there are no problems for the new owner........PCV valve is on the list.
I had a small coolant leak in that area and the hosing had a small whole sucking up the antifreeze and I was freaking out that the rough idle and antifreeze burning smell was the head gasket. Damn..
Excellent video. Saved me alot of time. Anytime you can get around pulling the intake is a good day 👍👍
Gracias por tu video amigo suba más videos por favor dios lo bendiga
Thank you, I really did not want to remove the entire intake!

PCV IS Good place to start make sure your IAC sensor and intake are clean also that could cause a bad idle
I've been having some trouble with a 08 Ford Escape, what made you need to change that? Like what where the symptoms you were having?

Also I'm really confused on the socket. Is there a hex head on it for a socket?
Yes....better known as a 6 point socket. A 12 point socket may work too, but not sure.
