You need to do a billbsholidayboxcarchallenge2024 Bill B's Christmastime holiday boxcar challenge for 2024. He did one last year maybe the year before not sure. Hey brother I need you to know I used some of those L brackets that you have for your shelves and I came home one day and a $2800 Lionel big boy was laying on the concrete floor in my basement. I would highly recommend you change those out. Keep up the good work I like following you

Interesting that your two Alco Engines Are the same type I got back in the 1970’s as my first ever Lionel Trains. It came in a set with cars, track and a transformer. I don’t have it any longer. It’s long gone. Wish I still had the engine and A Dummy Unit.

Your tinkering/test table. I make a wager that oval turns into to a circle real quick . One end will becomes a shit collector for tools/ parts/projects you are going to wind up working on . LOL Another part of the JOY! I have started keeping repair/maintenance logs for the engines. I put little colored stickers with dates of last maintenance on the bottoms. Where are you going to keep the engines and rolling stock? I wound up using drawers under the table . If I get a bunch of beaters that roll together nicely, I put them into a drawer together, trying to stay with a theme.. chessie, stock cars, gondolas, etc. trains and cars for specific purposes (or so I think).

SWEET you got the ZW. i couldn't go, no money. Just couldn't find any budget so I didn't want to torture myself or risk spending the money. I wound up buying Athearn Hi-f band drive A and B units on ebay.. it was too hard to pass up I got them for 35 bux w shipping. running and in the boxes believe it or not. at least 70 yrs old. I had a hard choice to make. the show, or the trains. I probably got away cheaper with the Ebay deal......
