Man I have an issue where I NEVER use shotguns because I feel like if my crosshair isn’t exactly where it needs to be it never hits like if my crosshair is a literal milimeter off none of the shotgun blast shrapnel or bullets or whatever hit its a complete miss

I'm a level 10 kinda hardstuck 2.1k - 2.2k elo but still watched ur video, the editing does it's work, one more thing for not so experienced players, better to aim further from the angle than close to it because its easier at least to me, to flick inside of the angle, than outside of it, and you have bigger chances of the enemy to do a wider peek than a short one at least in lower elo and yeah dont be like me, dont change your crosshair every match just because you are underperforming, it's just placebo, if you feel u are under performing, or the burn out effect starts to appear, take a break for 1-2 hours or even for the day

In lower elo with goid crosshair placement you will destroy people 1v1 before they even react

Great video! I just started playing CS this year. I'm 37 and this is my first FPS (aside from some COD on XBox 15 years ago). Mechanics are definitely the hardest part, though I'm making huge strides in that department, and I always joke that I need to warm up for a couple days before playing. But I also find that I understand the strategy/decision tree a LOT better than players that are at 15/20k. I see huge strategic mistakes from level 10 players who have cracked aim, etc. For instance, playing A on anubis as CT, when T takes mid you should be aggressing A main or else you'll get pinched. By pushing in you can get a 1v1 and maybe play retake. By trying to hold site solo you get attacked from 2 directions and die every time. I regularly play w/ 15ks that don't know defaults, don't wide swing, don't trade or know when to bait. In a team context I think I'm probably a better addition because I study how I can use my limited mechanics to help my team instead of trying to get the most frags possible despite my team. I still suck, but I'm getting better and that feels good :)

crosshair placement doesnt matter anymore in cs 2 when a cheater preaim u everytime and he is ready when u need to check all angles 1 at the time u cant get better in this game ITS DEAD full of closet cheaters

1:28 head height is always the same no matter the distance. This is even taught in drawing in perspective classes, because your head is also the same height as them. In inferno the heads are different because the ground is not flat, but if it were, and you can try this in workshop maps that are flat, the heads are always the same height

Just to clarify a thing on @1:20 or so, a far-away player's height is less than a close-up player's, but on level ground their head is still the same height as the close-up player's. That is, on flat ground if i put one player close up and another player far away and i line up their character models then shooting the close player's head will shoot the far away player's head.
