I'm not new to CS and know a lot of things already, but this guy explains everything so perfectly and in a friendly way, he deserves a lot more subscribers!
When attempting to learn skilljumps on a map I recommend setting a respawn point instead of noclipping back. Type "getpos" into your console and a whole bunch of numbers will appear. Then bind a new key that will set you to that previous position: bind "urkeyhere" "setpos xxxxxxx" This way you can try to do skilljumps over and over again without burning yourself out to quickly, because you can instantly retry the jump.
Cs can be hard most of the time. But this guy. His presentation is top class. Those subtle humours are just perfect. i can spend hours listening to his videos.
You really hit all the correct points with this. How settings are different between kz and vanilla, how strafing isn't limited to A and D, and how important infinite warmup is perfect for getting better at movement. All the small details that can make huge differences, what use cases these movement strats have and much more. Not only that, but the editing and pacing of the video, aswell wih the audio level balancing and music choice is also a huge plus. Great video.
I started practicing movement a few months ago, and I can confidently say it helps a lot and you can see improvements. can do some skill jumps nearly consistent now and it boosts the overall confidence in games by a good margin.
Dude watching your videos has legit helped me improve so much. Started playing like 6 months ago, was always bottom frag every single game, but recently I’ve been top 3 on our squad every single comp match. Literally went 27 and 4 tonight and a guy accused me of cheating. Felt so good man, thank you for the quality videos.
Im pretty sure you are going to be a pretty big thing in counter strike youtube scene in future years. Videos are so good and the way you speak and explain things is so clear and good
so glad I'm not the only person that uses OSRS music, I love it so much also every video your levelling up & I'm so excited to see where your channel will be by the end of this year brother
random side question if you see this. what is console command for free cam for those player cinematics? I could only figure out 3rd person over shoulder :(
Thank you so much for this video! I am a Team Fortress 2 player that is finally giving CS a fair shot. I know both are made in Source, but wow, the movement is so much similar! Thank you for sharing information on the cool movement maps and servers.
Great video as always, please keep these coming they're so easy to watch and learn from. You make me feel like I could actually learn to do these things. Scroll wheel for jump is great until you Pull a Jabbi at Blast this past week and lose a 1v1 clutch lol
There's one thing also about movement, there's a fraction of a second when you start running where you don't actually make a sound and this can be beneficial when you're clearing angles. The timeframe is between starting to run and making the first footstep sound.
This is very true, I will heart your comment as I should’ve mentioned this. It’s similar to the silent ladder move but movement makes sound faster than ladders. But you’re absolutely right Minde, thank you for the comment :)
Thank you for a new video. Being a 10% of who subscribed is the best (don't understand why people not subscribing to watch this bangers). But yeah, thank you❤
When I used to play csgo I used to train bhops/surfs almost as much as my aim and I completely forgot about it on cs2.. hopefully itll unwash me a little bit. Good videos mate.
one small correction about 4:00, that's not a plugin, it's a command in CS2 that lets you auto bhop, but only available with sv_cheats 1. you can do it on private lobbies too, but I forgot the exact command line
Cs2 specific, if you want to hit more bhops you should de-subtick your jump and crouch, instead of binding mwheeldown to "+jump" like many tutorials tell you to, you have to bind it to something different, just look up desubticked jump and crouch binds for cs2 and youll find it, youll then hit wayyy more bhops and avoid the inconsistency that comes with cs2's new subtick system. Also there are more movement techniques, such as the jump bug and the edge bugs.
In case anyone is wondering why their bhopping sucks, there's a degree of luck, i dont know the exact details, but a bunch of smart ppl claim that the map geometry or smth can make some jumps not give you good speed for bhopping
I’ve been playing cs for over 10 years and never understood the concept of strafing, so when I go to shoot an enemy after running do I let go of D key and hit A? Or tap both at the same time?
@@kneel69 Keep the useful info like this coming, please! :) Seriously though, while I have your attention: if you happen to be contemplating a video about handling toxic teammates, please do it. I like your insights about the psychological and emotional aspects of CS, and this is something I am (and as I see it, many others are) struggling with. Would love to hear your take on it.
3:12 The self-boost in Ancient is so annoying. Most of the time you're blocked by the wall when you try to jump or you fall off the dragon's head very easily or it is difficult to jump onto the shield because of the wall hitbox.
There is an insane console bind using aliases which makes bhopping 100x easier. I went from average movement to hitting insane bhops with crazy velocity instantly idk if u mentioned in this video haven’t watched yet
Hiya mate to be honest I just looked on TH-cam and typed something like ‘OBS keyboard and mouse overlay tutorial’. It was one of the first videos :) hope this helps!
Another sick vid and great music choice and editing! Just a quick question, I tend to keep shift pressed down most of the time (even when holding angles), would you say its best to not do this so you can counter strafe quicker?
Firstly I appreciate the kind words lad! And secondly, holding shift whilst holding angles isn’t bad, I do it too haha it’s just about letting go when you do need to move! But if you’re peeking an angle, you should counter strafe your way out, so you peak in increments of fast movements, making it harder for the opponent to react to you too. Hope this helps lad thank you again for the comment :)
I'm not new to CS and know a lot of things already, but this guy explains everything so perfectly and in a friendly way, he deserves a lot more subscribers!

This guy rocks
amen
Genuinely the choice of music, editing and accent makes you the most enjoyable cs youtuber i've seen in years, fuckin av it!
You’re a legend lad I appreciate the kind words :)) thank you!
It’s RuneScape!
My guy got that smooth sleep-app for nerds voice plus the stardew (& similar) soundtrack. A+

Let go of D and hit A yeah. It’s just to counter your momentum so you come to a direct stop rather than gradually slowing down :) hope that helps!!
