Fully agree on the dealers comment. Especially when they are asking so much for their wares, you'd think that they would be more engaging. I think a nice set up comic booth would be a good idea too.

37:41 these custom frames are absolutely insane, especially the matting with Wolvie claw slashes. I'm sure it wasn't cheap, but man does it put the cherry on top

Sickkkkkk I was waiting for this one. I hope to get to OAX someday. I'd probably leave bankrupt, but that's a sacrifice I'd be willing to make. Now that you've gone a couple of times now. Have you noticed any crazy fluctuations in pricing? Kinda curious if the popularity of the show is going to make prices go up as time goes on. The whole SDCC debacle.

Man, I like me these flip-throughs, Dave, especially the classic books. I hope you'll keep 'em coming! I read these Ditko Spider-Mans in Marvel Tales as a kid and they brought me hours of happiness-which I felt again looking at these pages.

I really like Ditko's rendering on the machinery on the cover - that's probably the absolute minimum amount of drafting you can get away with but he still manages to make it look complicated and heavy. Kudos on the a la Ken Burns (Skar?) effects too - nice to see close-ups and panning on a flip-through.

Cool flip through. I got that ginormous Taschen Marvel Library tome, which is cool, but its still great to see an authentic, unrestored, completely not-messed-with OG copy.

Hot take!! Not a fan of Ditkos Spider-Man eyes. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Probably because Im a McFarlane Spiderman forever. Still a kick ass book for sure.
