I love battery powered. I’m a dewalt guy, but love battery powered. If you think I’m spending the $500 on the nailer. Then another $500 on batteries just so I can use it for pre lunch, hell no. Get a hose for $50. A compressor for $200 and a gun for $400.
ok, but now we gonna get gunk all over our beer caps.. 8D Why not just shake the can to mix it??
Home Depot gives these things out for free. You're not supposed to shake polyurethane. You'll get bubbles in it. When it sits on the shelf a long time, there's a bunch of gunk that gets clunked together at the bottom making it take forever to stir it with a wooden stir stick.
Had every pneumatic tool out there....GAVE THEM AWAY...Five Milwaukees now!
Milwaukee has gone downhill so hard these past few years. Dewalt is the go to now.
Cordless has its place in certain situations as do pneumatic. I will say to all the " young" guys our there come tell me how your carpal tunnel is after using this gun for a few years. I'll wait😅😅
Get a haircut.
I've been around hundreds of people in the trades for 40 yrs. Never heard anyone nad mouth one
There is a “poker” but there is not cut-off blade. I use this tool and it does help to get into tight spaces.
U need a dewalt that’s what happend
Yeah, well, I use bostich pneumatic. Never lets me down.
You should be using commercial standards if you have no standards. Australia has required 0.02% slope on residential gutters since 1998, expansive soil regions require 0.04% slope. Your installs are way out of date. My facia would allow for 0.06% slope. Nice punch though.
Dudes mediocre at best… he also bent the tabs back in just to get the punch off 😂. Bent out, in, then back out definitely causes weak points
I'm unsure how you are assuming slope from this video but the gutter flows great.
@earlybirdarms Teach me your ways sempai
@ No offense as I know customers are not educated. I know you put no slope on those gutters.
Lol
bee hive tool
Nifty product i stuck dewalt stickers 2 it an strait in the tool box
Can't fix stupid. I have one works great!! Never had an issue.
Way too stoned at work
I don't know why that caused me anxiety that when you put the key in the chuck, it was slightly crooked
Damn then I got paint on my Corona😂
Church key 😂 I've used a slide hammer handle to mix 5 gallon paint
Doesn't make any sin he's to dumb to use it and that's why it's garbage 😂🤦🏻♂️
Broo, nobody uses the poker
The people that complain about them usually either have never used one of just grab the stock at Home Depot and mention how heavy it is… you gotta try one on the job to see if it’s for you My framers and finishers actually enjoy using battery nailers most of the time. Especially the finishers when we’re working at a cite with people living there The weight and price are its biggest drawbacks but that’s pretty much it… no carrying hoses or compressors for small gig jobs. No clients complain about the compressor noise or air noise when you’re releasing the air in the compressor and no one stepping on the air hose every so often I’ve gotten used to the weight, but I will still say that battery framing nailers and roofing nailers are for small jobs or jobs where you don’t have a lot of space or can’t make as much noise Pro tip: Buy the tool. If you don’t like it, you can always return it to Home Depot as long as you didn’t drop it of the 2nd floor
I have one too....
They work great
What if the joist it rotting? How do you fix that.
well if you cannot get a tool that actually works to, well work. I would second guess allowing you to work on my house
My wife always picks the more dull option as well. That’s how I got married.
Now that I know how to replace rotted fascia...any videos/advice on installing new soffit?
You are absolutely right about that plastic handle. As a matter of fact I had to take mine in for repair and it’s not even a year old. I paid 6 hundred bucks. I’m very disappointed in Bosh for putting this product out.
It does have a couple of downfalls though. It is the heaviest battery nailing gun on the market at 12 lb with a full rack of nails and battery in it. That is a lot of weight when you are shooting above your head. The other downfall which most of the battery guns fall short in this category is cold weather. These guns do not like to perform in cold weather that well. But again that's across the board on every battery framing gun from any company
I would argue a stapler could be better Hahah
😄
Love ratcheting screwdrivers, motors are great but it's always easier to control how much force you're using when you are the thing applying that force
I have that Milwaukee tool. The damn bits keep falling out of it and get lost. And they're not off the shelf bits. They're double ended which aren't easy to find. Oh, and the damn shaft pulls out of the handle way too easy as well. So yeah, good luck with that Milwaukee ratcheting driver. Lol
Try a 20v drill with a 6” long 1/4” bit and tell me that again
Ummm how about a drill…
You obviously have no idea what you're doing
@Chappellgutter Are you joking? If not I’m confused. Are you pre drilling and then using this? This has to take 10x longer than using a drill with a clutch or an impact with slow speed settings. No hate, genuinely curious. If this is satire it went over my head 😅
@briarsain7362, yeah, we use a quarter-inch hex impact driver with an extension to drill a 1/4" hole. Pre-drilling the hole makes it much faster method than any I've seen.
@@briarsain7362 You should try it
XD
Lose's it 50 times, does nothing. Genius crew

I'm curious what blade you're using on the saw. The cuts look good.
True
Funny!
I bought the metal one works great there is a poker it’s in the handle comes out love it
The metal rod to break the seal is inside the lever. And for cardboard tubes with a ring you just have to either cut the ring off entirely or cut a slit with tin snips where you will have the cutting blade go. They’re not great once osi and most gutter seals start getting chilly. It’s too much pressure on the all plastic parts. But we use them all the time when it’s either warm enough for them.
I love it bro, I use it for roof tiles
What do you think about the newer composite materials like PVC board? Worth it, or use the standard and send it?
I've tried lots of different synthetic materials and honestly find using true cedar to be the most workable material and is still a very durable material. You could also look into James Hardie Board. It's fiber cement so it doesn't rot when gutters begin to leak. The only thing is the workability is drastically more difficult.
PVC is more workable that James Hardie but you lose the ability to sand the material if necessary. I'm also not sure if it's much cheaper as I know some PVC trim is actually quite pricey.
@@chappellgutterThank you for the insight. Going to go with some cedar. Great videos, I subscribed to your channel!
I love installing siding, it was some of the work I enjoyed the most. I mostly did sheet metal, but I also installed nichiha, parklex panels, acm panels. Installing standing seam roof panels, fascia, gutter, and soffit is also a blast.
Nice! Short and sweet. Great data from someone who obviously has real experience!
😎👍 Thanks for the Baer Paint tips….
What blade are you using to make your cuts?
The tool looks like it might be a fake
Lol. We aren't buying this stuff off temu
@@chappellgutter amazon is selling them too.
Never said you where but tbh it does look fake the red also seems a little odd
Looks legit imo@@TimStJohn
@@TimStJohn red does look odd on that tool 😂😂
Just use superglue and rip it off next time
Thats what im saying just glue it because chances are you don’t need it to come off if you’re a siding guy
wow that’s nice
